This was the one book I wanted exactly. I needed a book mentioning what all things I have to eat to have a healthy life being a Keralite from India. I used to listen to all these health and wellness YouTube channels and they give us only a part of the story. To the practical level, when it comes to our breakfast, lunch or dinner, given the specific life style of a Malayali, this book has helped me a lot in deciding what to keep in my plate. Some of the revelations about our food which we consider so related to out culture itself, coconut for example was enlightening. Also while placing each item to have, I knew what it is for and how it is going to affect my body. Eating has made a mindful activity. Being responsible for what you feed yourself is important.

The only thing I found missing or should have been there is the way one should eat their food. I mean Chewing, whether one should have water while having their food, that sort of stuff.

I would recommend this book not only for any one who is suffering from diabetes but for anyone who is looking forward to have a healthy lifestyle for their life.
