Meet your favorite Sesame Street friends in this adorable photographic board book starring Grover!
Lovable, furry old Grover is the star of this colorful, photographic board book. Babies and toddlers will love turning the sturdy pages to find out what Grover--and his alter ego Super Grover!--likes to do with Elmo, Big Bird, and his other Sesame Street friends. Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit educational organization behind Sesame Street, aims to help kids grow smarter, stronger, and kinder through its many unique domestic and international initiatives. These projects cover a wide array of topics for families around the world.
This book is called Grover and it is a part of the sesame street friends series. Each book in this series goes over one of the sesame street friends, this one explains who Grover is and the things he does. This book is a picture book intended for preschool-age children. I rated this book four stars. This book has great very colorful illustrations. The large illustrations and large colorful words would definitely keep a child's attention. This Book does a good job teaching children about the letter "G" being the first letter of Grover's name. This book also teaches children how to be kind and helpful. It also teaches young children that it's okay to make mistakes while also being a good friend. I didn't rate this book five stars because I feel that there could be more added to it. I would use this book to teach children about the letter G and what sound it makes, though there are better books out there to do this. Overall this is a well-done picture book.
The grover book has some good vocabulary words for little ones. This isnt my daughter's favorite in the series but flips through it enough, with some curiosity.
Grover is one of Mommy’s favorite Sesame Street friends! She is good at doing his voice. This book has a great lesson in it: you don’t need a cape to be super! 😊
This book series is so sweet! A dear friend bought us the elmo book and somehow we have ALL of them now. Between Elmo and the Count, we read those two easily 100 times each and then needed to have a few other books in the rotation.
Grover's story was a later purchase for us but our toddler loved his book because he has quite a bit of story line. This is a great one too.
