Christmas Candy: 3 stars. This was an ok story. I honestly didn't feel this huge connection between Olive and Hank. I mean yes they knew who each other was in high school and apparently both had a crush on the other but didn't really KNOW each other. Her animosity towards him was a little confusing. She disliked him so much she tried to get his shop, his livelihood shut down? Why? Because she had a crush on him in high-school and didn't know she existed (even though he did?) It just was petty. A cowboy for Christmas: 2 stars. I just, I don't even know what to say. This book was confusing. Ingram did such a sharp 180 in character I just, I'm at a loss for words. "That smart mouth needed discipline, needed a man like me to tame it." Those are his words in the 1st chapter. Kind of chauvinistic, tells Molly she doesn't belong on the ranch bc she's a woman. He's an ass. Yet within 2 day I think he loves her? Just no. It didn't flow, it didn't make sense. I just did not like it at all. A Stepbrother for Christmas: 2 stars. In all fairness you are warned going in that the book might not be for you. Her fantasy is to be "forced." For me thats enough said. Christmas Cake: DNF by chapter 5 I was done. Grayson was just verging a little too much into stalker/creepy for me. I mean he follows her home and then goes and checks that the front door is locked? This after meeting her once for like 5 minutes. Obsessed seems to come to mind and that never turns out well. Im just done with this book. I honestly wish I'd never started it.
1st story-Christmas Candy. 2nd chance for love. The H and h had crushes on each other in high school, neither revealed to the other. Move forward through college and life. Both return home, set up business across from each other. Very enjoyable read. 2nd story-Cowboy for Christmas. Daughter of H’s mentor returns home after her dad died. H resents that she did not come home to help/be with her dad at the end of his life. H was trying to be a good neighbor and events draw them together. 3rd story-Step brother for Christmas. Apparently the H teased the h after his father married her mother. This was when they we teenagers. H and dad are Brits so H goes to college in England. H returns for Christmas toward the end of his college term and after apologizing and clearing things up with the h, one thing leads to another. 4th story-Christmas Cake. The h has opened a bakery in her hometown. The town owned and run by the H. The H hates her family until he meets her. He does not reveal who he is. Sparks fly and he falls for her and she him, until she finds out who he is and that he has been deceiving her.
These were soooo good. I wasn't even put off by the stepbrother story. There is a trigger warning for those that have an ick factor for those type of stories. The stories can all stand alone with an HEA. I recommend this bundle of highly entertaining Christmas stories. Enjoy 😁
All different but with a Christmas theme! Just the right amount of hottest and fun some a tiny bit sad. But all of them worth the time! And I think it was free!
Great Christmas romance. I only give 5 stars for books I would read again and again. While this doesn’t rise to quite that level, it was a great Christmas romance and a perfect way to spend a cold, snowy afternoon, in front of my Christmas tree.
I read these originally as they released. I always appreciate Ms Aaron's stories, and these did not disappoint. I usually read in KU first, then buy, but I knew I had to own these so they were purchased upon release.
