Family ties are strong, but even the strongest can be broken. Building on the story of faith and family, The Grandma, Mom, and Me Saga continues with Elaina, a story of devastating loss, constant lies, overwhelming betrayal, restorative love, and undiminished compassion.

Elaina Drew is the first daughter born to Dutch and Louise. Before she is a teen, death steals two of her loved ones and her life is changed forever.

Very young, she marries a man who promises her the world. They leave the country life she has known for the big city far from home. There she silently endures pain and treachery she never imagined. This tragic event separates her from her family by more than distance.

They say broken hearts heal over time, but what happens when you have your whole lifetime in front of you?

Is it possible to begin again when all you have is nothing?

"Elaina" is an inspiring story of family, love, faith, struggle, and reconciliation. Reading this wonderful book was more like being curled up in a comfy chair listening to a master storyteller and waiting with baited breath to find out what happens next. The dialogue is authentic, and you get emotionally attached to the believable characters. Ms. Bryant's writing style draws you in, all the while dropping pearls of wisdom you can collect, be inspired by, and take with you. I loved it and highly recommend this book.

Great read!

This 2nd book of the trilogy lovingly portrays life from Elaina's perspective. Heart-wrenching and hope-filled, Elaina underlines the faith and grit of a mom who suffers the greatest loss a mother can know - the loss of her children. Elaina never gives up, never stops loving. She is determined to be a good wife and mother, and succeeds. I love her honesty and can-do attitude. She makes remarkably hard decisions based on what is best for her children and grandchildren. She's funny and tough.

Can't wait for book 3!
