Sixteen year old Feather Wyatt’s last day of summer started out normal, or as normal as can be expected for someone who can see ghosts and bring dead bodies back to life. When her best friend stops by to return a book she borrowed things begin to take a turn. A bothersome ghost refuses to leave, and a neighbor poisons her beloved cat, Tyson. When Feather brings Tyson back to life, she draws the attention of an ancient Evil. Only she has the power to keep it at bay and protect those she loves, but for Feather, mere protection is not enough. With help from her ancestors and the unyielding support of her best friends, she is determined to defeat the Evil once and for all.
I enjoyed reading this book, oddly enough. It is not the type of book I normally read but the action caught me and, before I knew it, I was halfway through reading it. He ready to be enveloped in a tale of evil versus good, where one never knows what waits around the corner to trap you in it's web.
This isn’t my regular genre. I found the book to be okay. The characters were like able enough. I wouldn’t go out of my way to read it or something like it.
