After having a rough week and also upon realising that I didn't have too much longer to read this before the pre-pub expired, I read the whole thing in a day. Honestly, it was exactly what I needed - just the right amount of fluff - and I enjoyed it a lot! I'm not sure why Nephy didn't suffer from using celestial mysticism though. I guess it's because she's a more pure high elf than Nephteros? Regardless, I'm definitely going to continue on with this series. :)

For me it took a little bit to get going for this book, but once it did I enjoyed it. I certainly liked the bits of lore and world building that came up. If I had one complaint (and it isn't just this series) -- I'd like to see after a couple of books the author using their existing cast instead of continually adding new characters. We don't need a new cast every book. In fact it detracts from the characters that we already know and love.

Anyhow, I'll be reading more of these over time...

For most people I imagine this is an ok book, but personally speaking, it matched my taste story-wise. U should give it a try

Few twists and turns along with a bit more detail into there backstories adds some more depth to each of the main characters
