Die Geschichte von Anna und Damien ist jetzt zu Ende und sie war so so toll! ❤️
Ich fand wirklich, dass die beide sehr authentische Charaktere waren, die sich selbst immer treu geblieben sind. Besonders Anna.
Der Klappentext passt, meiner Meinung nach, nicht richtig zu den Ereignissen in diesem Buch, weswegen ich erst auch etwas ganz anderes erwartet habe. 👀
ABER wir haben erfahren, um wen es in den nächsten drei Teilen gehen wird, und holy shit, es wird bestimmt mega! 😳
Wie Penelope Sky das Ganze hier schon begonnen, hat, war super, und macht mich mehr als neugierig auf „Lie“! 😱

After my disappointment with wussy Hades and Damien's actions in Hades' story(don't get me wrong - it's still a great story), Damien has really shown his personal growth during his story. Even though he hasn't given up his business, he has moved to protect both his father (by moving his father into his household) and Annabella (by giving her up to keep her safe).
Damien's realization that he loves Annabella and that he truly cares for how she feels was a contentious point throughout this segment. How do you protect yourself and the one you love completely, when that one has tied your hands? The story is a little slow during the first half of the book, as it builds the suspense as to when and how our antagonists are going to act upon their threats. The last half is one suspenseful scene after another that builds to an unforeseen conclusion (and it's brilliant).
I am glad to see that Damien and Annabella got their resolution but Catalina absolutely stole the show in just three scenes (her lunch with Annabella, walking home from the theatre, and her advice to her brother). Catalina is going to rock her story and be a pain in the derrière for a certain someone - AND I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE IT!!!!!

I don’t think that the summary really does a good job here in describing what your’e going to read. In this 6th book of the series, it’s not that Anna is indifferent to Damian, but she’s in a tough spot still. She’s made her decisions in life because that’s what she felt was the best thing at the time and yet she’s miserable. Everyone’s miserable.
We spend much of this next installment watching everyone go through the motions knowing that they have to bide their time in order to get what they want. Liam continues to be a problem, he’s got this hold over Anna that makes no sense to anyone, and yet it’s still there. He doesn’t yet realize that Damian is the man that holds Anna’s heart until he actually does figure it out and then we watch the downfall of everything. He’s out for blood, Anna won’t let Damian kill him, and that means that someone’s going to die and the who dynamic of our characters will shift.
If that weren’t enough, the Skull King Heath is in the mix yet again. He continues to have this vendetta against Damian and that means that he’s not going to give up his quest for torture and revenge and insane need to just make the poor guy miserable.
Throughout this series, we’ve always felt that Hades and Damian could figure out how to get through anything, how to pull in the right resources to get what they need done, yet in this book, that’s not going to happen. Heath and Liam are on the same side. Bones is out of the game, and while Hades will always be there for his best friend, he’s got a family to think about and that means he’s not as ready to put his life on the line.
There are moments of despair when we see that Liam can’t seem to keep it in his pants and Anna learns about his infidelity again. We hope that it means that she can finally be with Damian, but that’s too easy. She’s too moral and wants to put time and space between any decision that she makes. Damian is patient, but that also means that he’s suffering.
At the same time, we watch Liam realize that Damian is the guy that has come between them and that means that he’s out for death. He comes after Damian time and time again, and it’s not until he breaks into Damian’s house and there’s a gun battle that the story changes and not in a good way. Where that one resolves is the expected way yet the path that they take to get there is unorthodox.
Then there’s the involvement of Heath in all this. Liam engages him to kidnap Catalina in order to get under Damian’s skin and what we always knew about Catalina is that she’s tough and she gives them a run for their money. She’s not the kind of girl who will give up easily and we watch that one with sheer enjoyment. The way that her involvement is used in this story gives us a direct and clear path to see what book 8 will be and i can only imagine how poorly all this will go down since there’s nothing good that can come out of where i think this story will go.

AMO a esta autora!!🥰, me encanta que todos sus personajes son tan diferentes!!
los primeros 4 libros son la historia de Hades y Sofia.
La historia de Hades me atrapó y me gustaba mucho, me encantaba Hades hasta que cayó de mi gracia por cobarde y me decepcionó mucho su personaje, sobre todo en su último libro.
Libros 5,6 y 7 de Damien (socio y mejor amigo de Hades) y Anabella.
El me cayó mal desde el principio de la historia de Hades por estupido y después lo terminé odiando más en el libro 9 y 10 así que definitivamente ni Hades ni Damien fueron los mejores de la serie para mi.
Finalmente en los libros 8 ,9 y 10 llega la historia de Heath y Catalina hermana de Damien).
🙌🙌❤️❤️❤️❤️, Me encantaron estos personajes, la química es explosiva y definitvamente mis favoritos de la serie. Me enamoré totalmente de Heath. Catalina también me gustó pero hubieron momentos en que me desesperaba su comportamiento y las decisiones que tomaba así que bueno, creo que de las series largas de Penelope, ésta es la que menos me ha gustado. I'm considering DNF'ng at 46%. I'm getting frustrated with the repetitive plot and scenes. Like a stalker ex is on the loose and somehow these druglords have shit security.
Don't even get me started with Anna. She extremely frustrating to understand. She's so conflicted, she can't see straight. Like seriously, she either chooses Liam or she fully goes to Damien. There's no in between and yet she likes putting herself in the middle of everything somehow.

3.5. Hard to rate this one. I liked the characters like all the previous books but I didn’t love the plot. I found it to be a bit boring and same as the other books. And I didn’t like how I found Anna a bit stupid, yes she had standards she remarried Liam but I found her to be a bit stupid at time lol.
Loved Damien. Even with his ways. And his father loved him, and the sister thought she was great. 💯 reading the skull king series.
Overall I did like this story just bored at times. Lots of filler. The ending did make me happy. So glad no one died.

We pick up when Liam learns that Damien was the man who Annabella was still emotionally tied to when they was married. Liam threatened time kill Damien because of his failed marriage.
Annabella knowing what Liam was capable of denies Damien to kill him first. She didn’t want that on her conscious. With every possible reason she wouldn’t budge on the issue.
Catalina becomes a key and important character in this series. She’s a little spitfire. She doesn’t play any games and is very independent. A very talented ballerina who doesn’t flinch when she feels she’s be disrespected and the girl can throw a punch, kick and can be deadly with a knife.
As Liam becomes more destructive and irrational he reached out to an ally. He becomes unstable when he threatens Annabella if she doesn’t come back to him.
Forever was taking forever in the beginning!! Lol, with Annabella being indecisive but it picked up when Kung fu Cat came into the picture. Loved every minute of it

after devouring hades and sofia’s story and falling madly in love with them, i wasn’t sure i’d feel the same way with damien. i loved him in the first part of this series, but i kinda just decided to read his bc i wanted to see if he’ll end up making up with hades, plus annabella wasn’t introduced in the first four books so there’s that. but boy was i wrong. i ended up falling completely and madly in love with them just the same. it was frustrating for damien and hades to not get what they want or for things to not always go their way bc that’s how i was used to. so whenever shit didn’t work out for them i just wanna slam my head on the wall bc it’s so frustrating and unsatisfying to read ugh but the happily ever after was always worth it ig,, also i cannot believe i wanted liam to get together with annabella just to frustrate damien bro that psycho ass lad is smth else 😭 damien giving him mercy didn’t satisfy my anger but whatever ALSO ALSO ALSO OMG i really wasn’t planning to read the rest of this series bc the mmc on that story is an antagonist in damien’s story but after that four chapters with him and catalina omg i need to see how things play out for them!!

Normally I give 5 stars for Penelope’s books but for this book I’m not a huge fan of Annabella. Many times she had me upset with her actions but by the end of the book things worked out. I really like Damien since he always keeps his word even when I thought that he shouldn’t have. He is truly an awesome guy. I love the growing story with Damien’s sister Catalina which sets up the next book in the series. I would definitely recommend this book to read but you may not be happy with Annabella at times.

Why was EVERYONE coddling him? Treating him as they would treat god? He was so rude to everyone and judgemental. What did Anabella even see in these guys?

I wanted to jump in the book and kill Damien myself....If he wasn't more concern or finding someone to kill Heath or take out Liam he could do it instead of constantly talking about it...And then when he gets to fight Liam just leaves me speechless....I enjoyed Heath and Catalina better than Damien and Annabella...

Comme vous le constatez, j’ai fini par me prendre au jeu.
Pourtant, les défauts sont toujours là. Leur présence ne peut pas être ignorée mais en plus, ils gagnent toujours plus en quantité! Alors, comment se fait-il que vous me retrouviez à ce tome?
Même pour moi, c’est incompréhensible. J’ai fini par m’attacher aux personnages, certes, mais sur l’histoire de Damien, l’action tourne clairement en rond. Pour tout dire, les trois livres auraient largement pu être condensés en deux.
Cependant, il y a un petit truc qui fait que j’y reviens. Peut-être est-ce tellement exagéré et irréaliste que mon cerveau s’est totalement déconnecté… Toujours est-il que c’est devenu impensable pour moi de ne pas connaître le déroulement de l’histoire.
J’avais donc envie de marquer le coup avec cette chronique car il y a un élément qui m’a fait réagir dans ce volume. Je parle du personnage de Catalina, la sœur de Damien.
Cette fille, c’est une bouffée d’air pur! Une lionne indomptable qui n’a peur de rien et qui est capable d’aller affronter un mastodonte avec ses seuls poings tout en le provoquant, en l’insultant et en citant Beyonce. Rien que ça.
J’ai ri, mais ri devant les passages où elle est sur le devant de la scène! Je ne pensais même pas rire, à la base mais là, c’était génial!
J’ai été tant surprise par l’humour insufflé par Cat qu’il fallait que je vous en parle. Je l’adore, cette fille!

J’avais donc envie de marquer le coup avec cette chronique car il y a un élément qui m’a fait réagir dans ce volume. Je parle du personnage de Catalina, la sœur de Damien.
Cette fille, c’est une bouffée d’air pur! Une lionne indomptable qui n’a peur de rien et qui est capable d’aller affronter un mastodonte avec ses seuls poings tout en le provoquant, en l’insultant et en citant Beyonce. Rien que ça.
J’ai ri, mais ri devant les passages où elle est sur le devant de la scène! Je ne pensais même pas rire, à la base mais là, c’était génial!
J’ai été tant surprise par l’humour insufflé par Cat qu’il fallait que je vous en parle. Je l’adore, cette fille!
D’ailleurs, elle ouvre en fanfare sa propre série de livres et j’ai vraiment hâte de les lire. Je m’attends à éclater de rire à en avoir mal aux côtes comme ça a été le cas ici et je m’en régale d’avance!

True love never dies
Oh my gosh… poor Damien and Annabella. Every time you think their path to forever is paved with rose petals and little cherubs playing their tiny harps, some idiot comes along and ruins it.
At the end of book 6 (Second), Liam had once again betrayed Anna and this time she was determined to leave him for good. No going back. She always knew her feelings and love was deeper for Damien… but his rejection pushed her back into her ex-husband’s arms because it was safe. But she didn’t love Liam anywhere near as much as she loved Damien. And likewise Damien loved Annabelle with his whole heart. Unlike Liam… the moment life got tough, he made choices that betrayed his wife.
Damien worships the ground Annabella walks on and with his patience and understanding he shows her that he is willing to wait until she’s ready to move forward with him.
But as I say… it doesn’t all run smoothly for them and Liam continues to turn up like the proverbial bad penny. Refusing to let Anna go, he won’t allow her and Damien to move forward. He still wants her, and in this book we realise just how far he’s willing to go to get her back.
Great instalment of this series and even though Heath (The Skull King) doesn’t exactly come across well in this book, I’m hoping we finally get to see his more agreeable side that we do know exists (especially if you’ve read the Skull King series). He is actually a pretty cool guy, but so far, he’s not exactly given us any reason to like him. Something tells me that Catalina is just the kind of woman to set him on the straight and narrow.
Hoping the story continues for Damien and Annabella too because I get the feeling we are from done.

Wow! Forever is the conclusion to Damien and Annabelles story? What a awesome read! After Liam realized Damien was actually Damien he showed up trying to confront Anna which didn't end the way Liam wanted! He threatened to kill Damien and kidnap Anna, But Damien takes Anna back to his house to keep her from Liam. Anna and Catalina become great friends and one day Catalina convinced Anna to go to lunch. Liam shows up to kidnap Anna but Catalina puts a ass kicking on him! Liam finally breaks into Damiens house and is going to shoot Damien but Anna jumps in the way of the bullet and gets hit in the stomach and kidneys. Damien rushed her to the hospital where they were able to save her. Liam shows up to see Anna but Damien intervened. So he manages to pay off a nurse to inject Damien with a needle so he can take Anna away. Liam has Heath take Catalina to try and trade for Damien. Catalina gives Heath a run for his money with her feistiness. Heath ends up letting her go and Liam decides to challenge Damien to a death match winner gets Anna. The fight doesn't go the way Liam thought it would. Instead of him being killed Damien spared his life in return of disappearing and never showing his face ever again. In the conclusion Damien gets Anna to move all her stuff in with him so they could be together forever! Loved it!

Really couldn't understand why Annabella went back to Liam but to re-marry him so fast........ I was shouting at her. To me he doesn't love her enough. Not deep down. He views her as belonging to him but he doesn't view the commitment seriously enough as when he doesn't get his own way he cheats rather than openly discuss the obvious issues. Damien realised too late how much Annabella meant to him & was so worried about the Gypsy's prophecy that he dithers too much. Liam is blinded by jealousy & hate & Damien stays true to his word, no matter the cost to himself. When Anna finally wakes up to a painful reality Damien stays true to what she needs deep inside despite having her permission to finish it his way. Nice to meet Damien's Dad & Sister in this book & of course to still read about Hades & Sophia. I have a feeling the next book will be just as consuming as the Skull King seems a nasty piece of work but he too obviously has a heart buried deeply or he wouldn't have let Catalina go. I feel the next instalment will be explosive.

I don't know where to start with this one ,Well I liked First and kind of liked Second but this was a disappointment for me, I mean Damien was pretty much useless as a this "Bad Boy" because no one respected him and thats a huge turn off for me ,And i don't even want to start with Anabella and don't get me wrong i liked her in the first book because she was this independenand girl, she wanted to work and have a place to call her own she didn't want her ex money etc and then she goes from Damien to her ex again and all that about not killing her ex and loving him when first of all he cheated not once but TWICE not only that he "shot" the love of her life, kidnapped her and an inocent girl too like girl how can you love still love that guy ? And Damien never shows character not even at the end ...I also feel like there was not a clousure with Damien and Anabella because of the "new" couple imo.

The long awaited conclusion to Annabella and Damiens story is finally here and so incredibly amazing! Liam now knows that Damien was Annas mystery lover and can’t wait to get his wife back for yet a third time despite any protests on Anna’s end! Anna while having to pick up the pieces again after her husband cheated is left with many questions and not quite sure where to go next.
Damien is still madly in love with Annabella and while it seems like it’s a no brainer to give their relationship another go knows it’s much more complicated. Does he take out the ex-husband that’s threatened to kill him? Or does he try to win Anna back? This final epic conclusion is something we’ve all been waiting for and was better than I ever anticipated! The mystery, suspense and of course the romance is once again an amazing hit and I can’t wait for more!

Whoa! I can not say enough how Damien and Annabella's story fascinated me! It was so good, edge of the seat reading.
Liam is crazy and really shows how so in this story. In Second, I always thought he was going to pop a vessel.
Damien and Annabella go through so much in order for their love to have a chance. I love Anna's independent attitude although sometimes it got her into trouble. Damien proves himself to be a gentleman time and time again.
The supporting characters were great as well. It was nice to know a little more about Catalina and Damien's dad. Heath was his usual self, I am still not sure if I have any love for him yet. 😀

Review for “FOREVER” #7 by Penelope Sky
I love this Book the story of Catalina and Heath! This story kept me captured wanting to see what happens next or what else Catalina is capable of. Catalina is quite a spitfire. I love this woman and how strong she is physically and mentally. Heath is still helping his friend get to Damien and took another family member, his sister Catalina. He took her, locked her up and kept her. Then somehow for some reason changed his mind and let her go. He found her attractive and so strong and beautiful. I felt many different emotions while reading these great stories. The talent and interesting stories, they continue coming through in Catalina and Heath’s story. Penelope Sky continues writing these steamy novels better and better. I have am ready to read the next book “Lie.

Full of action
If you have read any of Penelope's books/series she has come a long way. Please correct me if I am wrong but I think one of the first books/series was The Scottish series. OMGosh, those at so dark. Her books/series have somewhat mellowed. Sometimes I crave that darkest....although I was not initially a fan and almost gave up on her. Like this series lots of things going on in this book. My heart was broken several times. LOVED when Catalina kicked Liam's ass. Yes!! LOVED it when she handed Heart his ass. Lol! Now that this story between Damien & Annabella is over my suspension is Catalina and Heath are next. My hope is somewhere Damien & Annabella have children and return to the gypsy for Annabella to have her fortune told. Wonder what Catalina's fortune was?? Hmmm. Glad this was a good ending.

I love how dramatic this series was, I’m digging it.
This is the last book for the story of Damien and Annabella. To be honest, Damien deserve more than a woman like Annabella. I know it was his fault that Annabella re-married Liam but still, in the end- it’s her actions. She settled for less. She confessed her feelings to Damien and when she got rejected, she ran to her ex-husband who cheated on her. I deadass wondered how stupid can she be.
People around her kept saying to her it’s not her fault that Liam cheated on her, well it was her fault for marrying him again, after marrying him again he cheated on her again, then played the victim as if she’s not in love with Damien the whole time she was married to Liam.
This whole drama was because of her.
I rated this 4 stars because of Damien.

After the ending of Second, I was on the edge on my seat the whole way through Forever wondering when Liam was going to make his move. He wants Annabella back and he'll do anything to get her. Damien refuses to let the woman he loves go and Annabella doesn't want to go. The only way to stop Liam is to kill him but Annabella can't let that happen. So Damien has to do everything he can to protect Annabella and keep her safe from Liam, but he doesn't expect Liam to pull in some help.

This is a great conclusion to Damien and Anna’s story. Damien can finally be with Anna but she is staying away from men right now. She just divorced Liam for the second time and she tries to go on her own. Except Liam won’t leave her alone and stalks her and then threatens to kidnap her. Liam also wants to kill Damien for everything he has done. However, this sends Anna right into Damien’s arms and he won’t let her go once she is there. She is threatened by Liam and when he finally succeeds to take her back, Damien will destroy anyone and anything that gets in between him and his true love.
This was jammed packed with action and backhanded deals. We are also introduced more to Catalina (Damien’s sister) and Heath (the Skull King) doin to be story. These books are filled with passion and drama. So yes to them all!
