Eternal love is always worth centuries of waiting.

Redemption: Atonement

“People don’t spontaneously evolve into something they never were, they merely become brave enough to embrace who they really are.”
–Ivana O’Neil

Guarded. Brooding. Ruthless. Gorgeous. Tyler Demetrius, the infamous Lord of Redemption Coven, is a five-thousand-year-old vampire with compulsion abilities so powerful he can torture and kill with mere words.

Ivana O’Neil knows the risks of attacking him, but the she-wolf is ready to die defending her pack and will proudly enter the halls of Valhalla to join her valiant Viking ancestors. Tyler is too intrigued by the feisty, strawberry-blonde beta to kill her, however, and takes her prisoner instead. She is just the type of plaything he needs to amuse and distract him.

Intuitive. Intellectual. Tender. Honourable. Ivana quickly discovers Tyler Demetrius is much more complex than expected, and she is soon consumed with a need to possess more of this broken man. He is her enemy, a villain she should detest, and yet she cannot hate him. His brutal extraction of her darkest secrets has given him a uniquely intimate perspective of her, including her desire for that fine line between pleasure and pain, and no one treads it better. She craves surrender, but can she trust him enough to submit so wholly? Will he ever overcome the trauma of his past which has left him so fragmented? Can she accept her Dowrra destiny and learn to love a monster?

Discover love worth waiting centuries for in Atonement, the epic third novel of The Dowrra Series.

I think this is my favorite book of the 3 so far! I absolutely love the adding of BDSM. And I adore Ivana! She's so strong-willed. She is so strong, and yet she can submit when she fully trusts! Seeing Tyler change over the course of the story was amazing. He is powerful and heartless except when it comes to Ivana. There's nothing he wouldn't do for her. Nothing he wouldn't sacrifice. And nothing he wouldn't kill for her. I'm so angry at her brother for what he did! And I hope that she gets retribution. I'm also crossing my fingers that there will be reconciliation between all the brothers. Hudson is terrifying me on what he's doing. And I can only hope that Ivana can stop Tyler from hurting Liams mate and child. I'm so stressed!!!

Book 3 in the series brings us to big, bad Tyler's story. He has the reputation of being the brother you don't want to see. But everyone is facing demons no one else knows about and Tyler is no exception. As we slowly uncover his story and history you can't help but feel and sympathize for him. And see how it was easy for Ivanna to put aside her prejudices and fall for her enemy.

I also really enjoyed the addition of the BDSM aspect. I thought it was tactful and well done. They were respectful of each others limits and Ivanna set clear limits before engaging. Gordon just keeps drawing me in, needing to know what Hudson's plans are. Looking forward to Liam's story up next.

the foundation is in place and the reasons are becoming clear

Another chapter in this sweeping saga of wolves, vampires and I assume witches as well. This story is playing out in small bites (no pun intended) and I like it. Too many authors rush a good idea to a stupid conclusion with little thought to the readers investment in their words. But not this author. I am looking forward to the next chapter. The characters get more multi layered with each book and thats as it should be.

Wow

I am LOVING this series!!! This has yet another POV shift and we get insight into a “villain”-type from a previous book. I would say this book is significantly darker and the author is up front about that in the warning. But as a routine dark romance reader this was GREAT. Captor/captive trope done WELL. Broken man brought out of his shell by a woman. If any of that sound good GO READ THIS NOW

This book is my favourite in The Dowrra Series. The dynamics between Ivana and Tyler are well written, despite them being quite complicated. Tyler is impossible not to fall for. Definitely a romance worth reading! At this point in the series, there is so much going on behind the scenes of the romance that keeps sucking me deeper into Gordon’s world.

Talk about a messed up family or several in this case. Ana and Tyler both are dealing with their own family being the enemy... I surely hope whatever Hudson is up to fails. Great read. I was originally on the fence about reading this book due to the potential bdsm but it really was not bad, really glad I proceeded with reading and moving on to book 4 eagerly.

Excellent

If you like vampire stories it is a must.
Read the whole series from the beginning. I am going to start the next book in this series now. I can’t get enough- and i am worried I won’t find other books I like after I finish this series- these are that good!
