Sarah K. L. Wilson is a USA Today Bestselling author who writes fantasy stories featuring practical heroes & heroines in the most impractical circumstances. She loves writing because it is the only way to make a living and give back to the world when your primary skill is an overactive imagination and a tendency toward violent daydreams. Sarah can be found in the outdoors of Northern Ontario with her young boys and beloved husband, reading a book, or fending off her husband's pet turkeys with a straw broom. You can find Sarah's books in paperback, hardcover, ebook and audiobook and they have also been translated into Italian, German, and (very soon) Turkish. Please, do, enjoy the read!
Seleska has been captured by her enemies. Enemies who are deadly and it's more personal that she realises.
Seleska needs to free herself and find Nasataa to take him to Haroc and help him establish peace and bring back magic to the land. But the enemies are making it very hard for her to accomplish. It seems as though Seleska has finally found her end in this dark cold world.
How will she see her escape from an impossible place to free from?
It all comes down to these 2 final books in the series. It has been quite an emotional journey for Seleska and for me too. I'm going to miss these lovable characters and their story.
Received a copy from the author herself, for an honest review, thank you!
I loved the series, but in that instalment, there are too many disasters. I only hope, it all will get better in the next one. Not enough about the dragons. sorry to say. Ab to now, i really liked it and gave each a 5 star, but that one gets only a 4. I was thinking of giving it 3. but no,
Time is running thin. Captured by her enemies with all hope lost what is Selseka to do? But is hope lost? The story line is really rounding out nicely and piecing together all that was “missing”. I’ll be sad to see the end of this awesome series.
A very depressed and hopless Seleska in this book. She has to fight tooth and nail to keep her hope alive as she largely despairs and even wishes for death at one point.
The book starts off with Seleska being tortured for information on the keys as countless memories and emotions of others are poured into her. The loss and love and lives of countless of people. Seleska has always had a bleeding heart, so one can only imagine the torment she feels at every memory and emotion she experiences one by one.
Eventually it stops and she is saved by Heron who has finally regained all of his memories. He leads Seleska to the world of the Blue Dragons were Nasaata finally takes his test and is proven to be the chosen one.
Unfortunetley, through all of this Seleska keeps being annoying as I have constantly found her to be, but as I've also said in the previous reviews; it's hard to blame her after all the hardships they have all endured and the senseless deaths they have all witnessed. Still, I wish she could bite her tongue and learn her place. She needs to learn to respect others more such as the blue dragons; yelling and questioning them about the wasting time with the test. Which, again, I get it, but it should be obvious it's a necessity as they explain to her to be quiet.
Also anotjer thing. Even after all this time, Seleska treats Nasaata as if he were still a helpless little baby. That too is annoying. Like he IS her baby and always will be, but Seleska omg, get it together. But as I have always said I also can't completley criticize her overworrying motherly tendencies.
After Nasaata proves he is the chosen one the Draven suddendly appear launching attack in the city of the blue dragons, consuming and destroying everything. And just as it appears as though Seleska, Heron and Nasaata alone have escaped, the fate of the others unknown and being unable to be reached, they are attacked once again.
I hope Heron and the others will make it out okay. Especially his dragon now that he's expressed his desire to form a bond with Heron.
Finally on to the final book!

Author Sarah K.L. Wilson brings us the second to last adventure for Seleska and her friends. Picking up where Rock Eaters left off Seleska and her nemesis are being taken into an underground grotto where she is being forced to live other memories, both human and dragon. Nearly to her breaking point Seleska is saved by Heron and taken into the heart of a Dragon city were her little blue dragon is tested. This test makes sure that her little blue dragon is the chosen one. And with a loud roar they conform what she's known all along. Then everything changes quickly as she and her companions are forced to fleet while the blue Dragons prepare for battle. This is a great adventure in this series and I'm looking forward to reading the last book and who knows maybe after that one Sarah will write more about Seleska and her friends. I highly recommenced this novella for all Fantasy fans.
Sarah K. L. Wilson is back with the penultimate installment of her superb Dragon Tide serial. It’s episode 9: Underworld and It’s totally superb. Seleska is captured and things look bleak, but I wouldn’t count our gal out. Instead I’d count on a rousing and very well told tale - pretty much guaranteed. You are truly best of starting this serial from book 1, but trust me it’s worth it. Both serial and this book 9 are highly recommended.
I loved reading Underworld and things are still exciting & terrible at the same time. I keep trying to figure out who will be there at the end. I love it when I don't figure out the end before I get to it. I don't want this series to end but I want to know what happens. I would recommend This series to all readers who love dragons, intrigue , betrayal and adventure.
Dragon Tide: Underworld by Sarah K.L. Wilson is the 9th installment in the Dragon Tide serial. Seleska & her blue dragon, Nasataa are still racing to find the keys needed to battle evil. Now she captured by her enemies, time is running out and everything seems hopeless. Geat characters and I am really enjoying this series!
I like this book but I don’t love it. Some parts seem disjointed. Not quite enough explanation to reel me in at the beginning. It’s better toward the middle of the book
Wow! You begin to wonder if Seleska is going to even survive. Going up against the Draven, seeing so many die. Makes you hold your breath, wondering what is going to happen next.
Dragon Tide: Underworld is book 9 in Sarah K.L. Wilson’s series that follows Seleska and her growing blue dragon Nasataa. The race is on to get the necessary keys to unlock the Haroc and place Nasataa there to save magic and restore it to the world. This installment in the series is darker than the rest and also the next to last book in the series. But while it is darker it is no less gripping. Dragon Tide: Underworld picks up where the last book left off and when Seleska finds herself captured and a prisoner. The race seems to have come to a stalemate, but the danger now looms all around as Seleska is made to fully grasp the severity of her situation. The author takes readers deeper and things take a darker twist as Seleska is subjected to things that she never would have thought could happen. I shed a tear at some the things that Seleska experiences because it brings some horrors crashing down around her. This story, while short is truly gripping and had me page-turning to learn what was going to happen next. I am sad to see this story gradually come to a close, but at the same time I’m eager to learn how it will all end. I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. I’m eager to read the next book and learn how the story comes to a close.
This one was a bit scramble up for me, maybe because it had been a while since I read the previous episode but I really struggled to get into it, to be orientated again. And then things were happening very fast although not a lot happened when I think of it now except fleeing. But I could clearly feel the urgency and the build up to the final episode which I can't wait to read. There is so much to clean up, there has to be a happy ending!

Outstanding book. I’ll try not to give spoilers but it’s difficult. The tension and action is really cranked up now with the enemy constantly attacking with such force . You feel yourself holding your breath willing the hero’s to survive. It will all come down to the last book.
If I could sum this book up with one word, it would be...........Breathtaking!!
Well the end is nigh as they say. Seleska and Naastasha certainly have there work cut of for them as usual. What a great pity the next one is the last in the series. I was hoping this would go one for a while yet. What will I read then I wonder. Obviously nothing as good as this. Highly recommended.
I am thoroughly engrossed in this series and it is a shame that it will end with the next book. Our heroine and her companions are still battling the evil ones with the hope that they will win and save the world.
I got lost in this book maybe because it was a while since I read the last one, but there seemed to be lots of things I had missed. It was full of running and being chased. The penultimate episode is full of urgency and hope. Recommended.
This is episode 9 of the series and let me say Seleska and Naastasha as always have their work cut out for them. I love how no matter how bad things get Seleska is able to push through and conquer anything that comes into her path. I can not wait to read the next in the series.
This series is coming to an end soon, and the ride has been so amazing. There is so much going on. Seleska and Altura have both been captured together. There is a rescue, but what is the cost??
I enjoyed reading this book. The suspense is killing me. With as hopeless as everything seems, I can't wait to see how the series ends in the next book!
