Magic versus science. Wyst versus Etruria. The solution: a royal wedding to join the two warring lands.
The Lady Emrys Bruma arrives at court, but not for the ceremony. Her task is to find the secret behind an old family disgrace.
She becomes entangled with the crown prince, his future bride and his best friend. Soon it is difficult to determine where her loyalties lie. And who can be trusted. With spies, assassination attempts and the age-old superstition against magic, Emrys walks a fine line between two worlds.
But nothing is as it seems. Especially the Lady Emrys Bruma.

I love this book! AETHEREAL has compelling characters, an imaginative world, bold themes, and plenty of exciting twists! Especially if you're addicted to Young Adult fantasy like me, you must check this one out--it will be a new favorite!
Aethereal is a totally engrossing read! Perfectly flawed characters come to life and keep the reader curious until it’s satisfying conclusion! Cannot wait to read what is next for Emrys, Ryland, Ajay and the rest!
When I first saw this cover I wasn't to sucked in, I am a total cover person and well this one isn't the best that I have seen. However, what I found when I started reading the book was a great story! I fell for Lady Emrys and what she was trying to do in this world. She was a great character and I can't wait for book two! The pacing in this one could have been a little better but overall it was pretty spot on for the plot. The blend of magic and science was one that I hadn't seen before and it worked so well. Even though this book is just over 300 pages it felt much shorter. I think the author could have added another 200 pages and I would have still loved it. I will totally be checking out her other titles if she has any!
The only negative thing I have to say about this book is that I can hardly wait for the sequel. Lots of plot twists and turns that were unexpected. The main character Emrys is complicated but extremely likable. There is a little bit of everything I love in this book. Romance, suspense, magic and very strong female characters. I would highly recommend this book for female readers in particular as the strong, independent, young, vulnerable main character is a great role model. I hope this author quickly publishes the sequel so I can see what happens to all these interesting characters.
Aethereal is a fun book with exceptional character development. I am not usually interested in reading this kind of novel, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The story keeps you interested to the end. The plot developments are very intriguing, some were obvious, and others were quite surprising. It was an enjoyable read.
