Running From Noel: A Very Alpha Christmas

Rate this book
This Christmas, she can’t run anymore.

I never thought I’d see him again. He was unbearable and held a magnetic attraction at the same time. He was the guy who changed my life in an instant, and the reason I dropped out of law school. I suppose I’ve avoided him long enough and Father Christmas isn’t going to allow it any longer.

She’s the bookworm that kept me guessing. The girl that haunted my dreams and whose taste still lingered in my mouth after twelve years. A new job, in a new city, and coming face to face with an old flame. She’d gotten away once and I wasn’t going to let that happen again. I quickly learn, she’s kept more from me than her love.

Hmmmmmm,

I seen the low ratings for this xmas story, figured it couldn't be that bad. Wrong it was worse. Hidden pregnancy , but you're the injured party......not. The wording errors had me being an editor. The storyline was where?

Just no

This book was ridiculous. The main female character had no good reason for keeping the daughter away. Ashlee served no purpose. The main male character was actually written to be a decent person which is why the main female character made no sense. The entire time reading this I was scratching my head trying to figure out how any of this made sense and it just didnt

Not good at all

Everly was a selfish insecure woman.
Noel, although unrepentant in his sexual proclivities, showed more concern for his daughter than her mother.
The author did not show the character of Everly in a good light.

What happened?

Where is the rest of the story??? This has promise to be good , unfortunately the story is incomplete. Hopefully this was just a download error and will be corrected.

Where’s the rest of the book?

Is this a joke, where’s the rest of this book. Something must be wrong with the download. Someone needs to investigate before other readers try this and get upset.

Waiting For The Updated File

I was a little upset like most readers of how this book ended. Just as it was getting good it ended. I have read from this author before and thought WTH. This is totally not her style. However I did a little research and found out the wrong file was downloaded and waiting for the correct one to be uploaded. Hurry up Amazon so I can get my read on for the real story.

Since I have to rate, I'm rating as a preview novella and it's enough to make me want the whole story

Sweet story

I liked how Noel was a playboy in college and had a crush on his tutor who gave into himone day and then she left for Christmas break and didn't come back. Then 11 years later he ends up working at the same firm with her. Then he tries to rekindle something with her but she keeps running away from him because she has a big secret she has kept from him and doesn't know when and how to tell him.
Good love story. A person can always change their ways for the right person.

Good Read!

Enjoyed the story! It was different and I did like the attitude and outlook that Everly maintained! A really independent young lady! Noel, was arrogant, a bit of a jerk and womanizer in a pretty package, so he was able to get away with being that way. He seemed to gradually change as he realized how he looked in the eyes of Everly and her family. Once they were forced to actually communicate, in words not just sex, they came to an understanding of each other. Now, Everly and Noel will be able to make a better life for them as a family!

Great book!

I read the sample first and did not realize that it was a sample. So my review was not good but I was able to get the whole book and is was awesome! The main characters had so much chemistry. The romance was off the charts. Ms. Keys this the first book i have read by you and it was a very good book. I could not stop reading it until I finished. Good book!

It was good until it abruptly ended, right after he reconnects with her. It would be nice to know what happens after without reading other reader’s reviews. It’s been two months since it’s release and still no updated file. Total waste of money. Which is disappointing since her other books were pretty good.

Loved It

Janae Keyes did phenomenal job of bringing Noel, Everly, and Madison to life! Everly’s aunt and uncle were the right balance adding that family drama that so many of us recognize. So Ashlee was the office toy? What happened when they went back to work? Did they go back to work? What happened to the gun that Everly took from the guy that tried to jack her car?

?

I enjoyed the story until the Book ended abruptly. I'm not sure if it is a download error but if not back to the drawing board, even to be a short story it didn't make sense.

What

Where is the rest of the story? Just as it was getting good, the story ended. What happened to the rest of the story.

A nice holiday read

The story itself was a good one even though it felt a bit rush. This is a nice holiday second chance story.

Unfinished

Unfinished...the "trailer" sets the book up..and at the end..it's a setup and failure. Expected more and got much much les.

The love story portion of the book was sweet but too predictable. Very similar outcome as any of the many stories about a hidden pregnancy. SPOILER One difference was the lack of any mention of birth control when the hero and heroine get back together. Duh, with what the heroine knows about the hero’s sexual history and what happened the one time they got together, I would think double condoms wouldn’t be enough
But more disturbing was the awful sexual harassment culture of the company they worked for was never dealt with. It was just there. And the only real complaint mentioned was a few people had quit because one of the admin was pushing herself on them. The “office whore” admin. Nothing about the male bosses being dicks to the heroine of the story or when those same bosses sexually use that whore admin ... I kept waiting for it to be addressed or somehow resolved. But nothing
