Don’t know why I waited so long

I seriously don’t know why I waited so long to read these books I love Winter’s writing. I can’t wait to get into the second set of this series. My favorite book was Cyn and Rigid. Loved that man.

Loving Lo: Meg's past makes her leery on trusting men. Lo is tired of the same old thing. One look and he knew she would be his. Will Meg be able to overcome her past? Will Lo get the Ol' Lady he has wanted?

I'm a sucker for a Winter Travers' book and this one was no different. I loved how Lo was determined to help her overcome everything, but knew that she had to take some of those steps on her own. I didn't blame Meg for her thinking because when you are told something enough, you believe it, but I absolutely LOVED when she broke free from the cage! Great read and cannot wait to read the next one in this series!

Finding Cyn: Cyn is trying to piece her life back together. Rigid never wanted to settle down. He is determined to help, but is she ready to let a man in again? Will Rigid be ready for everything coming their way?

Loved getting to see these two heal each other. Absolutely loved how a man who didn't want a relationship previously found the patience and strength to help her heal. I loved how despite what she was going through you could still see little bits of Cyn peak through. Good read!

Gravel's Road When they met 15 years ago, it wasn't the right time. Will he be ready to settle down now? Will she finally get the man who has held her heart for years?

Absolutely loved seeing these two get together. I have loved Ethel since the first book in this series and this book proved why. I loved how she was who she was and she was ready to accept what came. I didn't blame him for being hesitant, but loved when he folded and allowed himself to feel for her. Good read!

Battling Troy: She's on the run, he is tired of failed relationships. Can they heal each other? Will they find peace?

Loved getting to see Troy fall in love after meeting him in previous books. I absolutely loved Troy's character and how he was with those he loved. I didn't blame Marly for being scared, but loved how once she decided to stay, she went all in and went after what she wanted. Good read and cannot wait for Gambler's story!

Read as part of the box set. Lo might be a big tough alpha biker but he fell, sank hook line everything from the moment he met Meg when she helped his mom. Meg is still messed up from her ex, no self confidence, completely critical of herself, she can't see what a caring, loving and beautiful woman she is. From the start doubt is big, no matter what Lo says to her, he breaks through and in a blink she's gone again. With other stuff going on around them there is the feeling of something building, not high suspense but certainly you have another MC on the sideline plus Meg's friends so it could be anything. I loved the characters, the story was well written and has a lovely steady flow, only downer was the cliff at the end so be aware this isn't stand alone, I have the first 4 books so I can read on so that's great. This is a continuous story through the series do not expect all the answers.

Rigid is a hard as nails, tough, get the job done kind of guy. He might like his sex a little rough sometimes but he doesn't like hurting women, he fell for Cyn when they first met but knew she had just broken up with the guy she was supposed to marry. This picks up where the first book ends as Meg, Lo, Rigid and others arrive to find her beaten and almost unconscious. It is intense and a powerful story, a battle of Cyn recovering and healing, not just her injuries but mentally as well, she has to fix herself but in doing so has help and unequivocal support from her friends and from Rigid. The start of this was really painful, her pain and struggles, her feeling so broken, but as the story moves on and with the support it became inspirational as she grew and her confidence started raising back up to the surface. I loved her strength and I loved Rigid, how he acted and teased, even when he grumbled I could see him bringing her back to life. There is a little graphic violence but it's a tiny scene and deserved, I actually wanted to be a part of it. I did spot a few mistakes and some things that I didn't feel would have been capable at those times but I concentrated on the main focus of the story and really it didn't spoil it for me, I know some readers can be overly harsh on these things but if a story and plot are strong enough it can overcome them. I think this was sensitively handled considering the beginning, it held my attention and I was empathetic to the characters and invested in the ending, shock of shocks though we do end on another cliff which leads straight into book 3, good job I have the box set. Great twists and I loved that Troy is also pulled in and plays his part as well as opposed to being left on the sidelined after his friend is hurt. Fabulous.

Gravel is grumpy on the surface but has a heart of softness when it comes to those he cares about, he has guilt about the distance between himself and his daughter and has been secretly in love with Ethel for years. I loved this, being a slightly older couple who are near my own age I guess I related to them, the slowing up and not wanting the late nights so much, slower healing and bouncing back. Ethel is so caring of all the guys and the women, she tucks them under her wing and gives sound advice. When Marley arrives she is quick to accept and help and I loved just how fast they were bonding. This is mostly a sweet romance, it's a building of family and second chances, it is obviously based around the MC but a lot is at Ethel's place. It has fun and laughter and is a lighter read than the previous books in the series until we get to the cliff at the end. Next book is Troy, I think the MC might just as well make him a member. Really enjoying this box set, I'm posting reviews on the single books as well as I go. Fabulous characters and this was an easy read, very enjoyable.

I love Troy, he has stepped up and in to help the women and the club every time, even without being asked. He met and fell for Marley at his party and was annoyed he didn't get a name or number, he was going to be protecting her no matter what. I just don't get Gravel's treatment of him, it's over the top and completely unnecessary. There are some inconsistencies in this story which do throw things out a little bit but overall it's an interesting and exciting plot with great characters. I don't think they get the lock down idea of protection and staying put though.

Lots Of Steamy Goodness

Book 1
King is the president of The Devils Knights MC. Having struck out starting his own branch. He meets Meg when she helps out his mother. Meg is a thirty-six year old divorced mother of one. After an emotionally abusive marriage she isn't believing that a larger than life God is attracted to her.
Book 2
Rigid is the Sargent of Arms for the MC a large man with a larger blue mowhawk. He is full of colorful vivid tattoos. He has after meeting Cyn one of Megs friends he knows she is the one. Cyn is younger but works second shift at the warehouse with Meg. Engaged to an asshat, who she just found out was cheating. After a rough breakup and a rougher beating is she ready for love?
Book 3
Gravel is an old member. The oldest in this young club. And finally at fifty-five he is ready to settle down. Having been married and divorced at a young age he is a father to Marley who moved to California with her mother and lost contact. Until she appears at his door. Just after he let's his feelings known for Ethel, Kings mother. And a widow.
Book 4
Marley is running from her late Fiancés parents. They want the money he left for her. She doesn't want it but doesn't know what to do and is running scared. So she goes to Wisconsin to find her dad. And in that she finds Troy. He isn't in the club. But he works with Meg and Cyn and is Megs best friend. The attraction is instant and hot.

I love these kind of series. Where you get to know everyone even before they get their own book. And you get to see the characters you have already read about more.

Devils or good guys

Finally got to read this and I'm so freaking glad I did!!
The loyalty of an MC brotherhood always amazes me. Even though they are rough around the edges, there's always a soft and gentle side to them when they all find love. Meg and Cyn had me in stitches with their craziness and it definitely takes men like King and Rigid to reel them in. Gravel and Ethel, the elders in this series, seems just as crazy as the rest but Ethel knows how to handle her man. After 15 years of pining after her, he got his ol' lady wrapped up but she is the one that has him wrapped around her finger. Troy and Marley are just sweet together and I cannot wait to get stuck into the next boxset.

I love this series!

I read this series a few years ago as singles, when they came out, and I really enjoyed them.

Then recently, I was waiting for some new releases, I remembered how much I enjoyed these characters and stories, and I started re-reading them!

I think that is the mark of a great author! This series has characters that stick with you, and stories that are steamy and easy to enjoy again and again.

Obviously I devoured these again and recommend this author and this series.

Love this series. Can’t get enough of these guys and their ladies. Meg is hilarious 🤣 she had me laughing out loud at her antics. Her man King loves her unconditionally, craziness and all 😂
Rigid has his hands full with Cyn, who’s nearly as crazy as Meg. Gravel finally gives in to Ethel after he gets shot and she has to look after him and then his daughter Marley turns up and Troy becomes her bodyguard and love of her life. Next up is Gambler and Gwen, can’t wait to read on….

The first four books in this Devil’s Knights MC collection are pretty good. The men are hot and protective. Uh the women are a little crazy...I mean really crazy. I thought Meg was pretty cool in book 1 but by book 4 she’s really more of a nutcase. Then the other women seem to start following suit. Didn’t care for that much. However 3.5 to 4 stars.

There are some really funny parts

It’s got some good storytelling but it needs some serious editing. Wrong sentence structure and typos. I really enjoy the characters especially Meg, she’s a hoot. Great kind of crazy. It gets better as the books roll out.. but the drama is a bit thin at fist. I still recommend it. I had fun reading it. Intimate moments are hot.

Couldn’t finish

I got through the first book, but I couldn’t make it through the 2nd. All of these chicks just whine whine whine about why the hot biker guy shouldn’t like them. I have enough self-esteem issues. I don’t need the books to have them too.

Good series

The Devils Knights are one of the funniest series I have read in a MC series. The guys are awesome and the women are hysterical. I gave it 4 stars only because of the errors and format, which will not stop me from reading the rest of the series.

MC books!

I found this boxset through the RBMC series. They are different kind of MC books. I really liked Cyn and Marley. Lo and Ridged were amazing. A lot of repetitiveness in the books.

I just love this series. Meg is hilarious. I'd love to hang out with her and the rest of the ladies. I couldn't stop laughing. The guys aren't bad either. They seem to get their women. It was nice too that Logan's mother got her HEA. Definitely going to check out the other books from this author.

Good bundle

Good bundle. Meg Got a bit annoying and childish. Cyn was just as annoying in book three. Enjoyed reading about Gravel and Ethel but their book was overshadowed by the annoying two. Still a good read.

The plots for the books were good, and I liked how they all connected and kept a central plot/issue going - however the spelling errors and overuse of the verbs "bellowed, screeched, yelled" were quite distracting. Literally every H only bellowed, roared, or shouted, and every h was screeching....
