So let me set the scene for you...
my house... I just moved in....
laundry is in the wash and needs to be put in the dryer
floors need to be cleaned....
bathroom could be cleaned....
you need to paint your kitchen...
the dish washer needs to be emptied.
And then you start this book...
and before you know it the day is gone and you did not do a single. freaking. thing.
Yeah that was me while reading this book.
I fed my guinea pigs so at least I was semi responsible.
This series is omg good. I didn't know how I would feel about a reverse harem series but since I am pretty much always willing to read anything I read this book.
It is so hard to pick a favorite character but I can tell you that Dragan is a clear fav. I mean omg... who would have thought freaking gargoyles could be SO DAMN HOT....
If I was going to offer a complaint it would be I am really ready to find out what the hell is up with our main girl.. I NEED her back story cause I just know it is going to be good... like seriously!
Also I am so ready for some more Variant ... I just suspect he is going to be a bad guy you are going to love to hate.
Ready for book three! I need to know more. I crave more.

Dragan, The Sacred Oath series Book 2
Eilish continues on her journey with her gang of gorgeous guys as they seek truth and revenge.
Book 2 isn’t as fast paced as the first. We slow down a bit as questions that remained from the previous book get answered. Still there is plenty of excitement and adventure.
As the gang moves on and spends more time with each other there seems to be a melancholy tone among them. Instead of building alliance it’s more like Everyman for himself. Stakes get high and emotions sore as some still have no answers and some still carry a bitter taste in their mouth from the past.
I tell you Eilish is dealing with a major sausage fest. The testosterone is so thick in this one it seeps out of the pages and slaps you in the face, but I love it!
Onto book 3 gotta find out what realm they end up in next.

Keep being haunted by ghosts of the past ?
With the second book of the series the secret of Eilish's nature is out. She's a hybrid. Most beautiful, seductive , innocent, powerful dangerous rolled into one gorgeous body. Half angel half succubae. Yet all her memories aren't back yet. So with in this book we find out more of the background on Dragan. His fall during the war, and why now his cold shoulder to poor Eilish's. I couldn't not put the book down. Once I started it I didn't even realize that I was finished till the last period on the last page. Still as fast pace,heart stopping action, heated scenes to give you some blush on your cheeks. Getting ready to start book three.

I really like this series, however I didnt like the ending to this one. It was too much of a cliffhanger. It took a bit for me to be sucked into the book, as it started out a bit slow, but it got moving right along. Most of the characters are pretty unique, but i do say Flumph reminds me too much of Bill Angel. His speaking and mannerism is the exact same. I am hoping that the character grows past this. Nothing wrong with the character Bill Angel, but I want a fresh new personality. I really enjoyed this read, and the cliffhanger is insane. Please hurry with book #3. I just got to know the fates that are in question.

Terrible and Boring
I read the first book in the series and, because I like others things the author has written, I gave the second book a chance, since it was a free KU read. About a quarter of the way through I stopped and said, “why am I doing this to myself?” The first book was pretty awful and the “cute” comic relief Flumph character was so aggravating I kept hoping he’d just die...then the second book somehow added in extra “action” that was really, really boring while making the characters more unlikeable than they were in the first book. Give this a hard pass and remind yourself that just because it’s free doesn’t mean you don’t deserve better.

Dragan is gargoyle, shadow king, Eilish's lover, and protector, or he was until he found out she had two sets of wings.
This book picks up right where the last one ends. Not a lot has been discovered about Eilish, but we do find out more about the Kings, especially Revenant, a.k.a. Baron.
Like all H.P. a.k.a. Plum's books, I did not want it to end! I wanted to know more and more to happen, but alas, we wait again. It's a bittersweet torture!

Just keeps getting better!!
An Angel but also a Succubus is with the 3 men who are tasked with keeping her safe. Her mission apparently is to defeat a wicked ruler that once ruled with the men that are tasked at keeping her safe.
Absolutely loving the series! I'm pumped and primed for the next book! H.P. is one of my favorite authors and her books always keep me interested and just keep getting better!

Mallory set this world up in Angel. She let us get to know all the players. In the second installment Dragan The Sacred Oath Series she hits the ground running. No pressing pause, no stop at jail... Just straight to the point.
This story is a winner for sure. The characters take charge and they're story explodes from the pages.

exciting action, detailed descriptions, characters you care about
World-building at its finest, a detailed and complex plot, lots of unexpected twists, a depth to personalities that reveal the causes behind an individual’s actions. Ends in a cliffhanger, so you’ll probably want to buy the whole series.

Let me just say that this series is becoming one of my favorites in the genre. Its taking all the tropes you usually find in reverse harems and turning on their head or making them better. Dragan thought he was done but his hormones and heart is telling him different. Im loving this series so much!!

Once Dagan finds out that Eilish is part Succubus, his whole attitude changes towards her. He immediately distrusts her do to his own history. Revenant is drawn to Eilish more than before. Eilish and the guys are trying to get everything they need for Cambion to make the stone.
While waiting for one of the items, they hear people coming. Instead of hiding like others, Cambion decides to make a stand. They end up being caught. They finally get able to get free with the help of Flumph, but not everyone makes out alive.
Revenant is able to see his past memories as Baron due to the help of the stone. What he sees doesn't make much sense to him. When he asks to speak to Eilish after he comes to true. Secrets are exposed to those of the group.
Things really change for Eilish, she is suffering due to the past she had no hand in. When Cambion decides to go to an old friend. Things will get even worse.
There is so much going on in this book, that I can't tell you. You will have to read it, you will really enjoy it.

Dragan is the king of shadow and he and Eliish have a bond that has now been broken because of what she is part angel and part succubae . They were so close but now he has pushed her away and into the arms of another king sent to keep her safe . Will they be able to get past the past of Dragan and will they be able to keep her safe . That is their destiny and they will win but will their hearts come out in one piece .
This is Dragan's book and boy what a book it is . I really liked this character from the very first moment I read him in book one . He is sexy oh so sexy and brooding . We also find out more about what happened in his past and why he ended things with Elish. There are moments in this book i really just want to pull his head out of his well you all know where . shake him and tell him to get his head back in the game . Elish this poor girl is now more confused then she was in the first book. She still doesn't have her memories but she has found out that she does have a demon side to her . You just really want to either shake her and tell her to toughen up or wrap her in a blanket and hide her from the world. Cambion and Baron are also back . Cambion well he really needs to lighten up a bit or he is going to get the slap upside the head . Yes you can tell these two men need and attitude adjustment . Baron actually grew on me in this book . He has grown and Revenant aka Baron is a really complicated man . You don't know if he is really bad or good . Your emotions will be all over the place. One moment you will be laughing along with the characters and the next moment you will have a tear rolling down your cheek or blushing from the hotness that is pouring out of the book. The author will draw you in and make you care about these characters before she rips out our heart and then repairs it . I read this book in a evening . I couldn't put it down. So if you want a great series for the winter this series is for you . Hot sexy brooding men and the woman who is more and could love them with all her heart . If she gets her memories back.

In this book we learn so much about Dragan and why he is acting the way he is and pushing Elish away . The author takes us on a very bumpy ride through this book . Your emotions will be all over the place. One moment you will be laughing along with the characters and the next moment you will have a tear rolling down your cheek or blushing from the hotness that is pouring out of the book. The author will draw you in and make you care about these characters before she rips out our heart and then repairs it . I read this book in a evening . I couldn't put it down. So if you want a great series for the winter this series is for you . Hot sexy brooding men and the woman who is more and could love them with all her heart . If she gets her memories back.

This is the second book in this series, and I am loving it! I loved getting to learn more background information on another one of the guys & of course, I LOVE Flump! Looking forward to the next book!
