This is a really compelling series, with each book building on the last to ramp up the tension. I enjoyed the parallel storylines -- usually one ghostly and one involving the Celtic gods -- which sometimes, but not always, came together, meaning that the outcomes weren't predictable, as they might have been in a more formulaic set-up.
