OH MY GOD, this novel.

I loved it so much. The characters, Cressida and Preston are total sweethearts of mine, I mean they vibe together so well, goddamn, I really wanted to keep them forever.

The writing - totally smooth, fast paced, and had me hooked from the start. I even skipped some sleep, because it was this good.

The cover - Damn, I totally swooned at the chemistry that was already threatening to blow in my face, when I first saw it. Totally in love!

The chemistry and solving their problems - Yeah there was a lot of hesitation from Cressida about letting Preston in, but once he showed her that he could be the one, it was all smooth sailing from there. And woah, the chemistry - totally sizzling and scorching, I could feel my kindle burning as I read through haha.

I look forward to reading more by this author.

This man is an enigma and for some reason, he wants me.

A steamy romance, with a swoony hero that will sweep you off your feet. Dr Knight is every thing you look for in a guy and I loved him.

The tension between him and Cress was so hot!

Be warned the villain in this story will make you want to throw things.

Cressida Bayliss is a single mum and substitute teacher. Her daughter Lexi is her whole world and she’ll do anything to protect her, even if it means keeping the peace with Lexi’s absentee father. Too bad Cress’s ex is determined to make her life hell, right when she has finally found herself falling for a nice guy. Paediatrician Preston Knight loves being a doctor. It’s always been the most important thing in his life. Then he met Cress. Now she and her adorable daughter Lexi are taking up all his thoughts and all he wants is to be around them, but when tragedy strikes and Cress’s past begins to haunt them will Preston and Cress remain strong together? Or will fear and words spoken in anger tear them apart?

Set during the same time the first novel takes place but featuring characters Preston and Cressida, Falling for Dr. Knight was an enjoyable romance by D.L. Gallie. I had a few small issues with the novel that I feel a couple of tweaks would have improved, but overall I thought it was better than its predecessor. The novel unfolds through the back and forth perspectives of both main characters and offers a well rounded and detailed story.

Preston and Cress were sweet characters and had an endearing romance. I thought their chemistry was smoking and enjoyed their banter which included a lot of saucy text exchanges. Cress’s daughter Lexi was just the sweetest thing and lit up every scene she was in. I loved the devotion Cress had to her daughter and thought they made an adorable pair. It was lovely that Preston had a great relationship with Lexi too and came to quickly love her as his own.

An easy read, Falling for Dr. Knight was a decent romance. Though not perfect I definitely liked it more than Falling for Dr. Kelly and it has helped give me hope that I may enjoy more D.L. Gallie novels. Worth a read even as a stand-alone tale, Falling for dr. Knight features a satisfying romance and a sweet as sin ending.

Falling for Dr. Knight is so apropos as a title, because that is what you will do by the end of the book. Preston Knight is your Knight in shining armor. Preston fits in well with some other famous doctors. Do you remember Dr. Dreamy or Dr. McSteamy? Well now we have Dr. Charming/Dr. Sexy/Dr. Suave (take your pick). A man that is so loving, suave, mesmerizing, grounded and loves kids, which is a good thing because he is a pediatric doctor. So, picture this, a handsome and amazing guy holding a newborn to his chest. Do you not hear your ovaries yelling and begging, “Please! Me next! Pick Me, Pick Me”! Yep, that is the Dr. Knight effect.



When Preston and Cress first met there was an instant spark and a bubbling of chemistry. This spark continued to grow and ultimately formed a strong cohesive bond. Not only between Cress and Preston, but also including Lexi. This group felt and acted like a true family unit.

Cress is a single mother to Alexis. She is blessed to have help from her mother, Momma Cress, and her best friend, Ave. Recently she has started to get help from Dr. Charming which shocks her that he is so willing to help.

Preston and Cress are the couple that you want to mark as #CoupleGoals. They are so incredibly cute together and Preston has such a unique and sweet way to say goodnight/goodbye. He is just adorable with Lexi, but truthfully, he is amazing with all the ‘Cress’ women. Charming, hot, slightly dorky, hot, mesmerizing, and hot!! Wait, did I tell you how hot he was??😉😉



Now Cress’ life has not always been sunshine and roses. She has had a lot darkness, doom, and gloom. Thoughts of not having any better than what she had after finding out she was pregnant. Unfortunately, she has some baggage from her past in the form of her baby daddy, Creed. All I am going to say is that Creed is something else.

I adored this book. I had been reading a slew of dark romances and Falling for Dr. Knight was a nice palette cleanser. I highly recommend reading Dr. Knight!!

I loved reading about Dr Preston Knight and Cressida Bayliss "Cress".
Their stories have always shared a magic thread that has kept me captivated. From the first time their eyes crossed until the end.
The characters are so adorable strong imperfect in their struggles. A wonderful little girl named Lexi has been the most beautiful sweet little girl surrounded by her mother who has always put her first.
Preston has a beautiful soul who feels drawn to Lexi and Cress and wants them in his life and to protect Cress from Creed lexi's father, who is determined to ruin Cress. I also loved reading a little more about the side characters and want more. Highly recommended reading.

Falling for Dr Knight is a complete standalone.
It gives you someone to love and someone to hate. The vilian in this story ask for punch.
There's also Lexi, the cute heroine's daughter, who will make you laugh so hard. And then, Cress and Preston. Well there's a memorable hot scene, I'm sure will leave you speechless.
And i let you here with a nice challenge...
Who makes your heart beat and own your panties? I dare you to answer to my question after you'll read this book.

Well Dr Knight... Sexy, charming, sweet, I dare u to not fall in love with him. Cress is a fabulous mother and kick arse woman. What a pair! The chemistry between them is hot hot hot from the start and never cools.
Cress's ex is horrid and I'm sure everyone will agree.
Don't want to say too much and spoil it but this is a fantastic book that u won't want to put down and will b thinking about for days after you've finished. Read it in a day and have the book hangover to prove it.

Preston Knight is one of the good ones, though, no, one of the great ones, and Cress can only resist so long. But when it looks as if her life is falling apart, will she take it out on Preston, or allow him to stand by her the way he wants to?



This is a sweet, sexy love story. Preston and Lexi made the story for me, their bond is so sweet, so adorable, and Preston is an angel. Honestly, he might have been a tad too good for Cress, who treated him horribly right when she really could have used his support the most. Luckily for her, he has a forgiving heart, and was determined to stand by her even after she threw a temper tantrum. Aside from from Cress' annoying reaction near the end, though, I liked this story and the the way Preston, Lexi and Cress became a happy family.

Falling for Dr. Knight is my first D.L. Gallie book and it most definitely will not be my last. I'm currently trying to figure out how I can work Dr. Kelly into my schedule because I need more of her words. I love single mother romances and Gallie nails it with this book.

Both Cressida and Preston are the perfect characters. She's a strong, fiest heroine and he's a swoony hero. I wanted to kiss Preston while also punching him in the face. Gallie knows how to write a couple and she made me fall in love with them as individuals and as a couple. These two were made for each other. Oh, the steaminess that is Falling for Dr. Knight. Do you have a fan handy? You may need one.

When Cress' life is falling apart and she takes it out on Preston, man did I want to scream. I was so mad, poor Preston did not deserve that. And although maybe it's what they needed at the time I wanted to reach through my kindle and slap her across the face or hug her and thank for letting Preston go and tell thank you and I'd take him off her hands. Although sometimes people need time apart to truly work out their feelings it was a sad moment for these two for sure. Preston had not only grown close to Cress but to her daughter as well. A man who orders a little girl princess crowns is a keeper.

I completely rambled and I'm not even sure this review makes sense anymore, but what I'm trying to say is READ Falling for Dr. Knight! Preston Knight is the swoony, charming and sexy as sin. He'll have you begging for more. D.L. Gallie knows how to write a book and hook you from start to finish. Her writing, her plot, the characters everything was just perfect!

Just one book... It was all it took for me to be addicted.
DL Gallie captured my attention with just one book and the need to have more was brutal.
Her writing is sweet and sexy, hot, and spicy... You'll love it.
Falling for Dr. Knight is her latest release and explores the lives of Cressida and Preston.
Cressida is a single mother that will do everything for her daughter.
Her past was hard but she thought it was left behind but sometimes what we think is not what happens.
Preston is a doctor and the best in his field.
To be the best he needs to focus on his career and don't get distracted but...
I have fallen all right.
This book was so good.
It had an amazing plot, super engaging, sweet but with some drama in there too.
It was a joy to read and once I started it, I simply couldn't put it down.
When I glanced at the clock it was 2 am.
Did I regret it? Not. I would do it again.
This book gave us true love, loyalty, family bonds, and true friends as well as drama, a bit of violence and betrayal.
I was so into the book that I read it without stopping, because the need to know more intensified with each chapter that I finished.
And guys... Some hot stuff in there too. Oh yeah
The main characters shared amazing and intense chemistry and you will fall in love with them.
I adored little Lexy, she was perfect to read about.

In Falling for Dr. Knight, DL Gallie does what she does best. She brings together a couple who are perfect for each other, gives them the basis of a hot sexy relationship and then pulls the rug out from under them, tossing their lives into chaos.
The readers first met Preston and Cress in Falling for Dr. Kelly, as the best friends of the couple in that book. However, each book can be read as a standalone. Preston is a sexy pediatrician, one of the best in the nation, while Cress is a single mom with an adorable little girl, Lexi. Inevitably Preston falls as much for Lexi as he does Cress. The scenes with Lexi are pure gold, she's a little scene stealer and will wiggle her way into the reader's heart. However as Cress and Preston's sexy relationship grows trouble brews. A best from the past threatens the couple and Lexi, then an even bigger threat looms and all seems lost.
Then Ms. Gallie works her magic and fixes the reader's heart and the couple in the process. No one said the course of true love was without pitfalls and goodness knows Ms. Gallie gives her couples plenty of those, but she eventually leads them through to a satisfying HEA. The story is tight and moves along quickly. The banter is sexy and fun and Dr. Knight is swoon worthy and sensual. And the characters are those you want to be friends with. Kudos Ms. Gallie on another great book.

I enjoyed this sweet and sexy book from Author DL Gallie.

Preston and Cress made a beautiful couple and I just loved Cress’s wee girl Lexie. If there is one thing I’m grateful for, it’s that Cress finally managed to kick her ex, Dickwad Dawson to the kerb, and that she had fantastic support in the form of her best friend Avery and her mother.

Everyone loves a hot doctor right? Yeah, Preston was hot in a Channing Tatum way, so I had that picture in my head every time it was his POV, and in short, he was perfect. Dirty talking, sexy and sweet, and had the patience of a saint as a paediatrician would do I guess!

Cress, and her ‘Crass Cress’ personality had me laughing. I can totally understand that! She was also an awesome mother to her precious wee girl who was just a gem, in spite of the baggage that kept showing up. I did feel her treatment of Preston when the proverbial poos hit the fan was dismal, but, laden with guilt, pain and fear, I don’t know how I would act as a mother in her situation.

If there was one thing I always struggle with in a book, it’s to read text conversations. It was an integral part of Cress and Preston’s communication, so is important, but, I found it hard to stay with the flow of the book.

Ms Gallie has put together a well rounded book that has a bit of everything that will appeal to your reading tastes. 4 Stars.

Wow holly moley Preston was HOT and SWOONY!!!

Cress and Prestons story was hot steamy and so much more. That you HAVE to read.

Cress fell pregnant to her not so nice boyfriend that told her to get rid of the baby if she wanted him. When she didnt he left.

Cress had her best friend Avery and her mum help her raise her daughter Lexi.

Preston was the best pediatric doctor is Chicago.

Preston met Cress at a pub when his mate picked up her best friend Avery and there love story started.

Preston fell in love with Cress and her Daughter Lexi from the moment he started hanging out with them.

Cress had been through so much with her ex Creed that she didnt know what to do when he kept threatening her when she wouldnt sleep with him when he came to visit Lexi.

Lexi was a very cute kid that had a heart of gold. She loved my little pony and being a princess. Preston spoilt her from the moment he met her and she loved him being around.

To find out what happens with Cress and her ex Creed and her happily ever after with Preston you must read.

You will have a great laugh at Lexi and the Banter with Cress and Preston throughout the book.

Wow, this book was not what I was expecting! And not in a good way. The cover looks so sweet and lovely, like a pleasant contemporary romance. As a nurse, I typically enjoy medical-based romances—though sometimes that's more for critiquing the medical errors that I see in the books! LOL! I feel like I didn't even get there for this particular book as I was so peeved at the level of profanity and crudeness in this book. I feel like the prologue barely made coherent sense because of all the profanity; really, does a mother grappling with a severely ill child swear like that? I'm just not a fan of swearing in books, and I really think authors need to put in the book description that it is present in a book—especially at the level it is at in this book—so those of us who do not like it won't waste our time. Some of the crude words, though not profane, surprised me as I don't often see other authors employ them in their books.

There is something magical about Dr Knight. He is beguiling and charming. Dr. Knight is smooth and charismatic in his words. I just adored him. He totally captured my heart from the beginning.
He is also crazy sexy! This story will grab your attention from the beginning and hold you until the very last word.
I felt Cress’ character got over shadowed by Dr. Knight. But when they are on the page together there is an undeniable magic between them. Best Friend Ava is the girl we all need in out lives. She was funny and supportive and just the perfect amount of sassy to keep the story moving.
This was my first exposure to DL Gallie, her writing style is uniquely hers. She writes a strong and sexy male. I was completely absorbed into this story. I would recommend for anyone needing a good swoon or a reminder of what falling love feels like. I give Falling for Dr. Knight an 4/5 star read.

Cress became a single mom when her long time boyfriend told her to get rid of the baby after she fell pregnant or he will leave her, and man, did that enrage me because that type of selfishness is uncalled for. Cress' whole world is her super cute tiny human, Lexi, and boy did Lexi try to steal the whole story. Dr. Preston Knight is a fantastic pediatrician, and it doesn't hurt that he's off the charts sexy, with a very dirty mouth, oh and he falls in love with Lexi from the jump. He & Cress have some amazing chemistry, plus all of their interactions were witty & highly entertaining. Then there's all the bumps in the road, with drama, the horrible baby daddy, and a HUGE situation that I'm saying anything about to round this story out, and frankly, I really loved the fact that Preston isn't one of those heroes who sets me off. He's perfect, so hit those one click buttons to experience this sexy story for yourselves! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

When Cress meets Dr. Knight she falls hard and fast. Cress has to protect her heart because as a single mother she need to be cautious and careful about who she brings into her daughter's life. Preston Knight is one of the good ones and he will do anything in his power to make Cress his. They start of as friends but then it gets more intense as they start there relationship together. When Cress's life is about to crumble and fall apart and she takes it out on Preston without even thinking about what that might do to there relationship. It takes them this time apart to discover and realize what they both want and where they want there relationship to go. Can Preston prove to Cress that he can be the man she needs him to be in her life. This was a great book and I couldn't put it down once I started reading it.

I honestly don’t understand all these great reviews for this book. The whole book this guy is slapping, shoving, slamming the h into walls. He’s threatening her and her child and she’s like “ I’ll do whatever it takes to protect my child” but she continues to let him take her!?! No thoughts about going to the police or anything, not even taking self defense classes or even maybe getting a weapon just in case he snaps and tries to hurt them both. No actions taken at all for over half the book!? Like, what?!? I don’t understand. But she has plenty of time to go out on dates. It’s ridiculous to me and I’m not even a parent.

So based on the complete lack of respect I have for the h, I give this book 1 star and that’s based on the H. Even though I don’t understand how even he saw how unhinged that guy was and didn’t express his concern and urge her to seek help.

Yes!!!! I have definitely falling for Dr. Knight!!!!

Let me just tell you “this book is AMAZING!!!”. DL Gallie, bravo 👏. This is my first book by her and most definitely won’t be my last.
The characters are amazing and super entertaining, the sexual chemistry between Preston and Cress is OF THE CHARTS HOT 🥵!!! and sweet Lexi ( Cress’ daughter ) stole my heart.

Now the villain in this story ( Creed) made me want to punch him in the face . Honestly what an a$$.

This couple’s journey is not all that easy, there is drama, complications and Dr. Knight will do the impossible to keep his queen and princess save from harm.

With that been said I need more of this story because everyone needs a Dr. Knight in our lives 😘.

What can I say about Preston and Cress... these two were made for each other. Cress may have had to kiss a couple of frogs before she got her Knight in a white lab coat, but Preston is the perfect guy from her.

There were so many scenes in this book that Gallie nailed but 2 stand out. When Preston orders princess crowns to make a little girl smile and one for her mother to make her feel like Queen, made my heart smile. Then when we met Andi, Preston's offsider and extremely tolerant nurse who I absolutley adored and wished there was more of.

This book was the perfect sequel in Gallie's Falling series with appearances from all our favourites. With a sexy doctor, a sassy heroine and a my little pony obsessed little girl who'd capture your heart.

DL Gallie not only writes swoony heros, strong heroines and cute kids, she knows how to write a good villian. I've never wanted to cock punch someone in my life.

Preston is exactly what Cress and Lexi need in their lives. He is her Knight in shining armor, or well a white coat.

All of the Bayliss women are spitfires and will have you laughing and going OMG over and over. Be prepared to have a stupid grin on your face as you read this book and fall in love with Dr. Knight. I think he has replaced Flynn on the sexiest doctor pedestal.

Ever since Cress found out she was pregnant with her daughter Lexi everything she does and has had to do is to give her the best life that she can and that includes dealing with Lexi’s father.

Preston is the sweet, strong and sexy pediatrician who fell for not only Cress but her daughter as well. He would do anything to protect and that includes dealing with Cress’s ex.

The relationship between them is not only physical but emotional as well. There is no doubting that they complete each other but first they need to deal with Cress’s past.

My heart is full. I love a single mom romance and even better when the hero has no qualms about her having a child. Preston is all swoony and will have you with heart eyes while reading. Cressida and Preston's chemistry is undeniable but I also love that he was also drawn to Lexi. They're a package. There is some suspense and danger that will have you on edge too and wanting to throw things at the Kindle. This brings out all the emotions.

Preston was so much more than I expected, he is so sweet but has a great Alpha streak to him and how he connects with not just Cress but with Lexi and Momma Cress. Cress's past is coming to ahead but fortunately she has Dr Preston Knight to be there for her if only she will see she doesn't need to stand alone, you get loads of laughs, anxiousness, sexy times, frustrations a bad guy and a man that will do what he needs to for those he loves.

Dr.Knight is sexy, charming, protective and hysterically funny! Cress is a painfully honest single parent with a horrible dead beat ex boyfriend/baby daddy. The chemistry between Preston and Cress was instant and so was the drama! I truly enjoyed reading this book. The sex was steamy, the side characters interactions were amusing and some times laugh out loud funny. I Definitely would read this author again!

This romance is a perfect mixture of sweet and steamy with characters you fall in love with. Preston and Cress are soulmates but of course love isn’t complete without drama or some bumps in the road. I look forward to reading others in this series.
