Julian. The bane of my existence, the sole star of my daydreams, and hands down the hottest Wolf on the planet. It isn't fair for one person to be that good-looking, confident, and successful. How can I resist that dimpled smile, tempting me to do bad things? But he’s forbidden territory. He’s much too old for me, and my dad’s friend and business partner no less. Oh, and there’s another tiny problem: I’m a surrogate. I’m carrying an unknown man’s baby. Some Wolf’s child … So I’ve made my decision. I’m going to officially stop drooling over him. Now all I have to do is to get my traitorous hormones to cooperate. I can totally do that. Right?

Hi there! I’m Layla Silver, and I’m so happy to see you here :) I’m a mom of three adorable kids and after all these years, still wildly in love with my awesome and hard-working husband. I LOVE to write about hot shifters, whether Wolves, Bears, or Dragons, who are looking for their mates and will do anything to protect them no matter what comes their way. When I’m not writing or spending time with my family (which is pretty rare, but I’m not complaining!), I like to be in the mountains chasing paranormal dreams.

The Wolf’s Surrogate: Surrogate Agency Book 1 By Layla Silver Kindle unlimited purchase Wolf shifter Julian wants to be a father so he goes to the local surrogate agency for help. April wants to be a doctor the only thing holding her back is money. So she gets (out of the blue) an advertisement about a local surrogate agency. Thinking it wouldn't hurt to find out more information about surrogacy she opens a chat window and asks all the questions she can think of. This book goes right in the direction you know it will. But besides that, it's a great read. Shifter Surrogate Agency is a series of books about shifters not just wanting children but finding their true love end the end. I started this series because of book 4 The Lion’ Surrogate can't wait to read it. The Wolf’s Surrogate The Bear’s Surrogate The Alpha’s Surrogate The Lion’ Surrogate The Dragon’s Surrogate
ONE MAGNIFICENT ADVENTURE!!! Amping up the stakes! Layla bestows one eclectic mix with all the style, gusto and passion revving it up and laying it out in all its glory. Satisfying is an understatement, ramping up the anticipation and thrill, kicking this baby into overdrive, blowing this gem wide open. The characters on point personalities balance and blend with enough depth showcasing their diversity. The characters and scenes are so colorfully detailed and descriptive it fuses this gem together beautifully. Magnificent job Layla, thanks for sharing this sweet treat with us.
I enjoyed reading this entertaining shifter romance & found the plot quite intense with unusual but interesting situations. The characters are quite well-developed with a variety of traits and different sides to their individual personalities. There is: a young female wolf shifter (April) is highly attracted to her father’s business partner & best friend (Julian) but she becomes a surrogate for a unknown wolf shifter & is determined to ignore her feelings for him, wolf shifters, some twists, drama, intrigue, secrets, deceit, attractions, longings, doubts, reservations, complications, shock, disbelief, anxiety, emotional turmoil, anguish, loneliness, determination, surprises, declarations, discovery, some conflict, mates, contentment, love, some steam & a wonderful satisfying epilogue with a tantalizing glimpse of the next book in the series.
Liam has settled into the same pack as his siter. He doesn’t want a mate but he does want a pup, and so he has applied for a surrogate from a clinic run by shifters. Anita ran from her ex two years ago, she had to run as the police didn’t believe he kept beating her up, so running was her only option. She constantly looks over her shoulder and although she works, she can’t meet all her debts, so she applies to be a surrogate. I loved this sorry, Liam and Anita are trying to resist their attraction but fate has other ideas. When the Alpha’s inform them that they are mates, its like a green light for them, although, danger is hot on her heels that puts her and her baby at risk. I really enjoyed this story and especially liked the paranormal plants showing up again. I voluntarily received and reviewed an ARC copy of the book.
I loved this tale! “The Wolf’s Surrogate” is a wonderful start to the “Shifter Surrogate Agency” series. This tale is a captivatingly complicated, funny romance of two unlikely shifters. The main characters, Julian is a middle-age, successful wolf shifter and April is a twenty-something wolf shifter who lives at home and dreams of medical school, become entangled in a surprise surrogacy. Wolf’s Surrogate has drama, twists, complications and surprising soul mates. This is truly an amazingly entertaining read with a HEA that will make you laugh and smile. I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily
This was a great fun read that flowed well and had a few twists and turns.
April has a few dreams in life she would like to go to medical school and she dreams about her fathers best friend Julian. She decides to become a surrogate and hopes that will allow her to move her life on and she knows she has to stop dreaming about Julian he is too hold for her even if his dimples make her swoon What she doesn't know is that they already have a connection when that connection comes out will it lead to them getting a HEA. You will have to read to see
This was an enjoyable read. However there was a great deal of the two main characters “thinking”. It went on and on for pages. I found myself skipping to get back to the interactions between them.
I also could not understand why there was such a fuss made of the female characters father knowing that she and the male character were in love. Guess I did not see the age difference to be that much of a problem.
A solid start to a series in my opinion. I liked the characters and I liked their dynamic for the most part but it felt like we spent a lot of time in their heads without anything actually happening? All the inner monologues really did was make the book feel longer than it actually was and didn't serve the plot in anyway really. The romance was cute and the overall story was cute but it could have gave less inner monologue.
I liked this book, but it was exactly what I was expecting. Cute, fluffy, and predictable. Everything that I expected to happen did and it kind of just filled the time. The concept was unique but nothing else made it stand out from anything else I’ve read. I might continue the series, but I know they’ll just be filler books for me.
This was a sweet romance of two shifters brought together by fate It’s a nice story, and written well. However, it was a bit predictable. I enjoyed it and will definitely read the rest in the series. If your looking for a sweet quick read then this one is for you.
The Wolf’s Surrogate is book one in the series Shifter Surrogate Agency by author Layla Silver. This is quite the tale- a mishap that leads to..... well you can read that for yourselves. The storyline is sweet and filled with a bit of spice. Enjoy!!
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Different series idea but not quite my cup of tea. Though I enjoyed this I didn’t love it. Didn’t quite like April for some reason. Julians reasoning I understood and it was he who pushed for them to together. Read through Kindle Unlimited.
When U think that U can't do better some time U really have bad options and this is want this book is about,Two people who love each other and will do whatever they can do to make it the possible, Love is very strong
Thoroughly enjoyed reading April & Julian's story very. I love reading a happy ever after story it makes me feel better after a very hard day. Thank you for writing this story.
I really liked the premise of this book but it drug on for me. I think there was too much alone time for the main characters and we got more of their thoughts then anything else. I ended up skimming a lot of this book to get through it.
April and Julian were a bit of a surprise. I liked the surprise very much too. At first I didn't realize that she would be having his pup, so that turned out great. Great story!
Julian et April sont cool, leur histoire est mims. Juste je comprend pas comment Julian se rend pas compte qu’elle est enceinte déjà physiquement et avec les sens de loup ??
Mais sinon sympa pour lire un truc rapide.

I usually enjoy all the shifter books and this one definitely had a unique story line. Never thought about surrogacy for a shifter but it makes sense. I guess today I had a hard time relating to their age gap.
I stayed up until the wee hours of the morning because I couldn't put this down until I finished it. Yes, it definitely held my attention. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I just love the way this story seems so fresh and different ! I just love it ! There are some twists in it that will keep you reading !! This is so well written and recommended to all !
I love shifter books. It gives me another world to run away to. There are other things in life than just the normal run of the mill people. Age is just a number.
This was a great read. It was entertaining. The twist in the plot was an interesting twist. The characters were remarkable. The ending was so beautiful.
Lovely romantic story with much humorous dialog. The characters are sharp and snarky which leads to wonderfully lively characters. I enjoyed this book.
