I really loved Sylvia's Bad Boy Valentine so I was excited to see that it was part of a series of short holiday stories.

Snowed In with the Bad Boy is a steamy, sexy, funny read. But, like BBV, it also has a deeper emotional story behind it, both for Ronan and Georgie. Ronan is a brooding, cranky, ex-military, slightly over-the-top alpha, and Georgie is the perfect light to his darkness - she’s really an endearingly quirky character. I enjoyed their banter and back-and-forth. There was definitely an instant attraction between them, but it didn’t feel forced. They were polar opposites, but like they say, opposites attract…and in this case it so worked.

I really hope that we get more from these 2 characters, and I don’t say that a lot…I’m usually happy with how an author chooses to end their story, but I kind of hated this one! I need more of Ronan and Georgie!

*My thanks to the author for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

This is the first book I have read from Sylvia Pierce and it certainly won't be the last after reading this HOT little number.

Ronan and Georgie do not hit it off straight away. Georgie is dressed as an Elf and talks a lot, Ronan is ex military and has been retired for six months in his cabin on the outskirts of a town with his dog Bella where it is very quiet.

However the attraction is there right from the very moment they meet and it continues to sizzle every page thereafter. This is a very sexy read that will make you wish that this was a fully-fledged book instead of a novella the writing is so good. It really draws you into the story and connect with the characters.

I will certainly be off downloading some more of her books :)

Laughter and love are a winning combination!

From the opening sentences this story invited me in enjoy a quirky sense of humour and wry take on life…

“F*** elves, man. Seriously.”

And enjoy it I did! Ronan Steel was this gruff, scrooge-like character who didn’t talk or look anything like any Scrooge I’ve seen or heard before. Big, buff and rough, yes, but he quickly melts when faced with an intriguing elf in distress on his doorstep.

“I invited you into my home… Let you use up all my hot water. Cooked my secret recipe Alfredo sauce. This is A-game, panty-melting s**t right here, Cupcake.”

Georgie Taylor is young and shy but at the same an awesome talker. And she talks herself right under Ronan’s defenses. They are both battling their past, trying to overcome it though in entirely different ways. When hermit meets a new adventurer, sparks are going to fly.

The banter between these two was stellar – at times, funny, emotional and downright raunchy. And when Ronan said ‘panty-melting’ he wasn’t kidding. If there is any snow about there won’t be for long after reading this hot novella as the temperature goes way, way up.

A perfect holiday story that I will re-read every year to ease myself into the Christmas spirit of love.

Thank you to the author for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Retired black ops mercenary Ronan Steel is doing what he does best now that he is retired, drinking his way through Christmas. Ronan doesn't celebrate that only brings him haunted memories. Georgie Taylor literally crashes into Ronan's property needing help. She is determined to be at Christmas this and she has the costume to prove it. Ronan doesn't want the interruption but the hot number has certainly awaken some feeling this holiday season. Will the bad boy with a bad attitude find a chance at happiness?

Some of the plot line was a bit far reached and I wish it had drug out a little longer to develop between Georgie and Ronan. Had a lot of potential but was missing something.

I loved reading snowed in at the cabin stories. This book was sexy as hell! Great chemistry between Ronan and Georgie. I'd like to see more about this couple: what is their life like further down the road? Entertaining read for a wintry night.

This holiday novella is just what you need to ignore your family and have a good holiday sex fantasy or two.

Georgie’s in a slutty elf costume and gets stranded on the side of the road/end of Ronan’s driveway in the middle of the woods. He’s the opposite of warm and cuddly, but there’s just something right beneath the surface that they both can feel brewing – and it’s not hot chocolate because Ronan doesn’t have that shit.

Does this book sound ridiculous? Yes. But ohmygod it was ACTUALLY GOOD. I swear to fuck. I wouldn’t lie to you. There’s surprisingly a decent amount of depth with each character and I’m not just talking about Ronan being deep inside Georgie. Although that happens too – and it’s wildly successful. And hot.

I suppose it’s my fault that I sold this novella a little short (THE PUNS WRITE THEMSELVES) but in all honesty, this book is feisty, fun, sexy and seriously entertaining. I found myself wanted a hell of a lot more of the two of them when the story ended.

Let’s talk about the ending too – it was realistic and perfect. I wanted to hug Sylvia a little bit because she gave me the HFN that I needed and didn’t cheese it up to the HEA that maybe some would have thought was required. It was extremely well done. The writing was great too. Except for the fact that she used the word ‘manhood’; however, I’ve forgiven worse sins, I’ll forgive this one too.

I know I’m gushing a little bit about a holiday bad boy novella, which is slightly ridiculous, but I was blown away with how quickly I tore through it and how I wanted even more. I’d read anything from Sylvia – Put her name on your list of authors to watch, curl up with a cup of hot chocolate and get your bad boy on. 5 stars!

Snowed in with the bad boy is the first book I have read by Sylvia Pierce and fuck...it was hot!!! She has gained a fan! Now onto this sexy novella...

Ronan is an retired soldier that lives in a secluded cabin in the Colorado mountains who hates Christmas. It's hasn't always been this way but when a tragedy hit seventeen years ago, his life changed and no body has been able to get him to feel festive until an elf shows up at his door.

Georgie just wanted to have the best Christmas ever with her family but after a failure of a car ride, she ended up on the doorstep of a jackass, a sexy as sin jackass but none the less, a jackass. But there is something about him other than his looks that makes Georgie melt.

Ronan and Georgie don't exactly start out on the right foot but the attraction is there on full display. Ronan doesn't know what this girl in a slutty elf suit is doing to his manhood but he is loving it. She drives him crazy with her demands and talks but when she is silent, he misses it. And Georgie might be missing her big family Christmas but this man is making her feel things she never felt before. He doesn't treat her like she is made of glass. But what will happen when it's time for Georgie to leave the next day?

I loved Ronan and Georgie's one day together. Their banter is hilarious. Sarcasm and humor is on point. Their sexual tension is amazing and when they let go, it's hot. And between it all, they open up and more and more.

Overall...it's a short, sexy, funny and emotional read. I laughed out loud more than once, got hot and bothered and I even cried! I didn't see that last part coming either but shows that I was attached to these two characters and their scars.

P.S I love that he called her cupcake!

Well I would not mind getting snowed in with Ronan. I mean that whole tough act does not scare me away....and Georgie sure did not back down. I am not normally a fan of the insta-love, but this book made me love it. I wanted so bad for both of them to find some happiness in their life. I mean who can resist a hot ass take charge man.....also I may not be able to sit at a dinner table for a few days with out thinking of Ronan and Georgie :)

Ronan is definitely a bad boy. He has a dirty mouth to go a long with it. This what I love in stories involving bad boys there is one woman who brings them to their knees. Ronan doesn't know what hits him when Georgie comes crashing into his life on Christmas Eve. She's all holiday spirit to his Grinch. Though there are reason for his grinchy attitude. Things get VERY hot between Ronan and Georgie. Makes a girl wish she had a bad boy to get snowed in with this holiday season.

Snowed In with the Bad Boy by Sylvia Pierce packs quite a punch. It's sexy, insanely hot, surprisingly tender, and I loved everything about it.

It's Christmas Eve, but former black ops soldier Ronan Steel has no desire to celebrate. Alone in his cabin in the Rocky Mountains--with no one but his faithful dog, Bella, for company--Ronan has no family or friends to spend the holiday with. Fresh out of an unconventional military career filled with covert missions where he witnessed the worst that humanity had to offer, Ronan has hardened his heart to the outside world. So he's not sure what to make of Georgie Taylor when she shows up on his doorstep, dressed like an elf.

Georgie was on her way to surprise her family for Christmas when she crashed her car in the middle of a snowstorm--right in front of Ronan's cabin. Grumpy Ronan isn't keen on inviting the stranger in, despite the fact that she's sexy as hell...but he's left with no choice except to let Georgie take shelter for the night.

Georgie and Ronan engage in hilarious banter that reveals what opposites they are. Georgie embraces life and family, while Ronan is cynical and bitter. But underneath Georgie's lightheartedness and Ronan's curmudgeonly demeanor are secrets rooted in past pain. As they move past flirtation to a primal physical attraction, they realize that--despite their differences--they just might be meant for each other.

I loved everything about this book: Georgie's good-heartedness combined with her sass, and Ronan's smartass jokes combined with his underlying sweetness. Not to mention that this novella definitely delivers on the sexy times.

Snowed In with the Bad Boy is just the right combination of humor and emotion. This was my first time reading anything by Sylvia Pierce, but I'll definitely be reading her again in the future.

"For naughty girls with just a pinch of nice..."

Ronan Steel is a retired alpha male whose secluded himself, and his favorite bitch, in a cabin deep in the mountains. Now that he's not fighting the good fight in some forsaken country doing things that no record exists of, he spends his days with a drink in one hand and his dick in the other just trying to make through the day. Which is not an easy thing to do with his past haunting him and no one to tether him to the present. And now it's Christmas time and he has to deal with all things he doesn't have, family, love, happiness, shoved in his face all the damn time. He's not a fan.

"Of course, if Santa ever stuffed his fat ass down Ronan's chimney again, Ronan wouldn't think twice about making a few requests. The first? Give him a soft warm place to bury his dick - preferably a woman who knows how to be handled. A feisty redhead, just a pincheads of nice inside a naughty-as-hell package. Perfect."

Of course he's surprised though when a woman in a naughty elf costume crashes her car in his driveway. He offers her sanctuary, and because he's a dick he's kinda a dick about it, but damn if he doesn't want this woman. He's having a tough time figuring out what to do though, because she's nice, really nice, in a naughty body. And redhead.

"Fuck elves, man. Seriously.

Good book. Sweet romance. Erupt ending, but nothing unbearable. Good characters. Nice story. No complaints.

When a bout of bad luck turns into something so good! You will want to skid sideways into a snow bank too if it then gets you face to face with Ronan. Smouldering hot doesn’t quite seem to do him justice.

Georgie is on a mission to get home for Christmas to surprise her family and nothing is going to stop her. Not even the hotter then hell man candy that tells her she’s going nowhere but inside his place. Well when you are in an elf costume, cold and wet caught in a snowstorm you do have to sometimes listen to someone else’s advice – even if its something you don’t want to hear.

Georgie expects Ronan to be just as excited about Christmas as she is – cookies and coco please – so she is a little shocked that he isn’t and has no Christmas themed food or drink supplies. Also that he is acting like a complete ass that seems to make fun of her obsession with Christmas. She has gone through a lot in her life with one illness after another so she is not going to take any of his crap, no matter how good looking he is.

Ronan has given up on Christmas, thinking that Santa forgot his address a while ago. After the death of his mother and sister he has hidden away from the world with only his dog Bella for comfort. From the moment he meets Georgie – his cupcake – he gets the feeling that nothing will be the same again. She is so head strong and stubborn that given half the chance she would walk through the snow just to get to her family – something he might want to remember. He wants her right from the start – sexy elf costume will do that – so gives her fare warning that if she starts and then continues to flirt with him it will end in only one way – with her on her back screaming his name.

Georgie is thinking only about living for the moment and while being stuck in a snowstorm she can think of now better way to live for the moment than by taking Ronan for her own. When they come together they are pretty electric. You may need to fan yourself down. You can tell it has been a while for both of them as once they start they can’t seem to get enough of each other. They have one hell of a night together but when tomorrow comes how will they part. From one night together they have saved each other in more ways than one. They have gotten under each other’s skins and it seems like fate put them in each other’s paths. They just have to decide if they want to listen to it or not.

Love this author’s style of writing and even though it is only a short story you get the feeling that you could rejoin them later down the line to see what sexy fun they have gotten up to. Hot hot hot!

I received this ARC from the author for my honest review.

Snowed In with the Bad Boy is a Christmastime novella by one of my new favorite authors, Sylvia Pierce. The moment I saw that she was releasing this story, my fingers just couldn't click fast enough to get it downloaded on my iPad. Having read the first series written by this fantastic new author, I absolutely knew I was going to love this book. Well, Sylvia gave me precisely what I expected she would, and I LOVED it!

Ronan grew up living with his mother and sister. But when he suddenly lost them both in an accident, he made the decision to spend his life as a Marine and live on the dangerous side, keeping his distance from emotion. Now 34 and retired from service, he is still a loner bad boy who keeps a block of ice around his heart. But when a cute, fiery redhead crashes her way into his life on Christmas Eve wearing a little elf dress and with a mouth that won't stop, he begins to struggle with the emotions she stirs within him. There is simply something about her that starts to draw him in and begins to melt his heart.

Georgie has been given more changes at life than she can count, and when she unexpectedly ends up stranded in a cabin with a seemingly dangerous bad boy and the sexiest man she has ever met, her heart truly beats for the first time. Although they both acknowledge that their time together will only be for one night, neither Georgie nor Ronan anticipate the unexpected connection of souls they both begin to experience. As the time together passes, spent with their limbs intertwined, both Georgie and Ronan begin realize that their hearts have become intertwined as well leaving them both to wonder how their one night together will ever be enough, and how they will ever be able to say goodbye.

This is an absolutely amazing and blazing hot novella, and I'm certain I could feel my fingers burn as I was reading and holding my iPad. The undeniable chemistry Georgie and Ronan shared was positively spectacular, and they left my heart beating with the same intensity as I am sure they were both feeling.

Although in the past I have read a few novellas which seemed to lack in detail leaving me a bit empty, that is definitely not the case here. Sylvia Pierce provides us with such insight into each of these characters making me almost forget Snowed In with the Bad Boy was a novella. Well, that is until I reached the end because as I discovered from reading her prior series, Sylvia has a knack for quickly drawing me in to the lives of her characters which definitely makes me want more. Snowed In with the Bad Boy is a perfect and enjoyable story that will leave you breathless and will certainly warm you inside and out.

Snowed In With The Bad Boy is a Christmas novella about a boy meets girl.

Ronan Steel, a cranky retired CIA Operative has no room for Christmas joy, peace and love. But when a freak accident lands Georgie Taylor on his front porch; threatens his simple life…Love becomes a funny thing.

Georgie Taylor is terrific. Her dialogue and their banter throughout the entire story is laugh out loud until you cry funny. Ronan can’t help but fall for the “mile-a-minute rambler” beauty who happens to be his perfect fantasy incarnated with an elf costume.

What starts as a spark, snowballs into one of the most Hott and Heavy “For Just One Night” sex rumps. The sexy scenes will push your pulse rate straight to the erogenous zone!

“There’s no changing your mind after this, Cupcake. You start something here, and I promise you, we ain’t stopping – not until that ass is red, that pussy is dripping wet, and you’re screaming my name, begging me to let you come.”

Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his limits of discovering his heart and a possible love, Ronan confronts the idea maybe living on the edge of the mountain alone is not the answer to his tortured past. When it comes to love, Georgie learns life is short and it’s never too late to take a chance and live on the other side of the window.

“You kinda saved mine, too.”

YOU’RE GOING TO LOVE THIS ROMANCE. It will lift your spirits. It does what a short Christmas story supposed to do: surprise, stimulate and entertain for a few hours. The writing is excellent and real. It’s funny, clever, heartfelt and uber dirty in the best way!!!

A Review of Snowed in with the Bad Boy by Sylvia Pierce

Holy Santa Elf - 5+++ stars

Sylvia has done it again! This may be a short book, but boy is it packed with a punch! We meet Ronan, who is a retired black ops agent, living in the middle of nowhere in Colorado. He's in the middle of a fantasy of what he would ask Santa for if he still believed in Christmas, when there's a knock on his door.

Georgie is dressed up as an elf, on her way to surprise her family for Christmas Eve when a blizzard causes her to lose control of her car and she ends up in a snowbank at the end of a driveway. She treks up to the cabin and is instantly fascinated with the man that opens the door. When she asks to use his phone, he gives her a rude answer instead of simply telling her the phone lines are down.

"Former black ops mercenary Ronan Steel doesn’t do Christmas—not anymore. And he abso-f*ckin-lutely doesn’t do damsels in distress, banging on his door in the middle of a blizzard. Give her a ride? Hell, no. With her big blue eyes, innocent smile, and f*ck-me-senseless elf costume, that girl is nothing but trouble. Sweet, sexy trouble that leaves him aching for a taste of what’s hidden under those candy-cane-striped tights…"

I don't want to give away too much about what happens, but you will definitely want to pick this one up and read it! There are no cliffhangers, but I certainly hope that we get to see more of these two in the near future!

Favorite quote: “Santa lost my address a long time ago, Cupcake. The only present you’re getting tonight is my face between your thighs.”

My review is a day late cause I'm currently booking a rental car to drive into the Colorado mountains to find my own Ronan ...

Ronan is a retired black ops that basically lives each day waiting for it to be his last. That is until Christmas Eve when a redheaded little elf smashes her car into his driveway. When Ronan sees Georgie at the bottom of his driveway he's captivated by her elf costume and she's his favorite, a ginger. Things quickly heat up between them once he welcomes her inside for the night. The dark, disastrous past has torn away the soul of Ronan but it slowly starts to melt by ever moment spent with Georgie. Our little elf Georgie is determined to make her new life count and after giving into desire she realizes Ronan is more than just a 24-hour romance while the world was asleep under a blanket of snow.

Read this book in one day - started it at lunch and finished it before bed - couldn't put it down or stop thinking about Ronan and Georgie, oh and can't forget Bella either! I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see another book about Ronan and Georgie! A fast paced book with enough heartache and background that it won't leave you feeling like something is missing, other than you'd love to hear more! Quick, fun little read! My first, and definitely not my last book by Sylvia!

"He'd merely been existing before she crashed into his life, and now he felt alive, in vivid colour instead of shades of gray."

This was a short, sexy story about two people, who have both lead difficult lives, finding one another during a snow storm just before Christmas.

Ronan is all alone in the world. A retired CIA operative with no family, he lives in an isolated cabin out in Colorado, not planning to celebrate Christmas. His grey, lifeless solitude is shattered by an adorable but fiery redhead wearing a sexy elf costume, who has become stranded at the end of his driveway after her rental car breaks down.

Georgie is making a surprise visit to her parents’ holiday home. She hasn’t spent Christmas with them for a few years. She’s suffered her own problems and is making the most of her changed life.

Their attraction and chemistry is immediate and, in a very short space of time, they fight, they love, and they decide if they’re willing to pursue something beyond their few days in Ronan’s cabin.

It’s sweet, it’s hot, it’s heart-warming!

For a short read it wasn't too bad. You have the brooding, self-loathing sexy, alpha male, Ronan. And then you have the spunky, sweet & funny lead female, Georgie.

It's Christmas, snowing badly & Ronan is holed up in a cabin in the mountains by himself. Georgie was on her way to surprise her family when her rental car lost control & crashed into Ronan's driveway. So knocks on his door for help or to use a phone... dressed in an elf costume. Of course there's instant attraction & chemistry. Because of the blizzard, Georgie ends up getting stuck in the cabin for the night.

Throughout the night they get to know each other a bit. She gets under his skin, he makes her crazy (both good & bad), sparks fly & there's some hot & heavy action. He reacts like a complete douche canoe afterwards & leaves her there. She's pissed & hurt, so she packs her stuff & decides to trek out in the snow down the mountain. Ronan goes after her, they kiss & make up & all is good.

It was a cute & sexy short story.
