I didn't know what to expect when I started this one. I liked parts of the story but I also didn't like some parts. I felt like some things weren't right for me.

The story's about Ty and Lucy.

They're a married couple but five years ago, she had to go back home to help run the family's business, Mistletoe Bakery.

She found out she's pregnant and someone talked her out of telling Ty about the twins.

He's back in town for a couple of months now, working at the local hospital and no one said anything to him. What will he feel and do when he finds out he has twin sons? Is love enough to heal and fix everything?

It has an epilogue

I had mixed emotions about the story. I felt their love for each other towards the end but the first half or more, I felt like their love wasn't enough. First, he knew he f*cked up after she left but he never made a move. Never tried to reach out to her. Second, she found out she's pregnant before she left and she had five years to tell him about their twins but she never did. Yes, his father talked her out of telling Ty but she should have told him about them. And even if he didn't want kids, it's his right to know. I know why his father didn't want her to tell Ty but it's so unfair of him to spend time with the twins and be their grandfather while he's keeping their own dad, his own son, from them. Third, he's back in town for months but he never tried to contact her or see her. Yes, he had to tread lightly to get her back but he can watch her from afar or anything if he really wanted to see her. They didn't even change their numbers and still had each other's number. Fourth, is her brother's girlfriend for real? Maybe it's just me but she's a b*tch! Sorry for the rant. I wanted to like it more. I'm just glad there's HEA.

Kneading Love

Jaime Russell is a new author for me and I was not disappointed. This is a second chance secret babies Christmas story. Happily Ever After. 100% safe from any kind of abuse, no cheating or on/ow drama, no others while apart.

Lucy is not very likeable

She left her husband without telling him that she was pregnant. He should have got an attorney and sued her for custody. Lucy was a waste of space. Can you tell that I have a low opinion of her? Piece of scum

Lucy knows what she has to do. Leaving Tyler is the last thing she ever thought she’d ever do but he is a rising star right now and if she stayed, he would refocus on her and lose track of his goals. Heading home to Mistletoe Alaska to help her family needs to be her top priority right now. That and raising the baby she just learned she is carrying.

Tyler can’t believe he let his wife leave. Talking to his father over these past 5 or so years has just reiterated what an idiot he was. He heads back home to Mistletoe Alaska to get himself resettled and then he makes a move to get his wife back. What he doesn’t count on are the 2 little boys that call him Dad.

Lucy and Tyler have a sweet, fast moving story, where they need to learn to love each other fully again, as well as create a new normal for their little family. The author weaves a lovely tale of priorities and how love gets affected by our choices and changes in life.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy without expectations. All opinions expressed are my own.

Ty and Lucy's marriage is broken, and she leaves Boston to go home to Alaska because her grandmother's ill. She's pregnant, but doesn't tell him - he didn't want kids anyway. His family and hers become her support system, but his father talks her out of letting Ty know about the twins. She builds up the bakery that her grandmother started, and it's quite successful. Ty comes back to Alaska, but Lucy doesn't know about it until he surprises her with a bakery order. Apparently, his family is not big on full disclosure. I really liked reading this book, not too long. I'm glad that Ty and Lucy try for a second chance, and hopefully they'll be more truthful this time. I also like that once Ty finds about his children, he doesn't run, and wants to work with Lucy to do what's best for the boys. This is my first read from this author, and I'll be looking for more.

Lucy and Ty are a married couple who are having problems. Lucy decides to move back home to take over her family’s bakery. Ty doesn’t go and Lucy is hiding a secret. Five years later Ty moves back home also to get Lucy back but he isn’t expecting what he finds. This book was really good! I’ve never read anything by this author but it won’t be my last. It was a sweet Christmas book about loss and finding a way back to the person you truly love. I definitely recommend but have a box of tissues because this one is a tearjerker. This book is part of the forever safe Christmas series and was a great addition. Give this book a try if you like safe books with a lot of heart.

Ty is a nurse who didn’t understand her wife and her need to go to help her family five years ago.
Luce abandoned her husband five years ago when her grandma was ill and her family needed her.
She is all the time baking and with an impossible timetable; no time to eat, no time to sleep, and no time to stay with her children. There are too many secrets for my liking. I don’t like Liam; I think he is very selfish leaving her sister alone in the middle of a massive baking season.
And the relationship between Ty and Luce after 5 years separates is like nothing has happened. They behave like a couple of teenagers instead of adults.
I did like how Ty helps Luce in the bakery.

Book four in the A Forever Safe Christmas series a short well written story. Tyler Smith a nurse and Lucy a baker separated five years ago when he started putting work before her and not listening to what she wanted to do. They meet by accident and he wants a second chance but she has a secret that she has kept from him for all the years they where apart. I enjoyed this story. I want to read more in this series. I read this cute short story in a couple of hours AND I'm a sucker for second chances! If you can't tell from the title, there's a bakery involved, and I was drooling, thinking of all those goodies! Awesome characters and the value of family! A great addition to my December Christmas Themed reading!

Now I'm diving into Fancy's Christmas Wish, also by Author Jaime Russell

I bought both Kneading Love and Fancy's Christmas Wish directly from the author at LOCKED UP IN OHIO at Mansfield, Ohio on November 20, 2021

I’m not gunna lie

Like I want to know what happened in order for the relationship to go south and her not tell him she was expecting his kids and for the divorce you have to be honest and she literally lied! It asks if you are pregnant or have kids and she denied him that I get she was mad and all but... I want more??

Kneading Love is the fourth book in A Forever Safe Christmas series.

This is a good second chance romance story with great characters that belong together but don't know how to communicate and work together. The storyline is well written and flows nicely throughout.

The chemistry between the main characters is out of this freaking world!

I felt that the author had the ability to convey true depth to the personalities of the characters bringing life and likability to every person.
The writing draws you in and keeps you interested until the end.

This a great second chance romance about Ty and Lucy. Ty has a lot of growing up to do before he can find his happy ending with Lucy. I also enjoy the brothers best friend aspect of this short story

Ty and Luce meet again after five years and they try to recover what they lost. Some parts of the book are difficult to believe, for example the great amount of time Luce stays in the bakery working almost alone.
The story is nice but it could have been much better.

Cute Christmas story

New to me author. Good second chance romance, surprise kids included. Low on drama, conflict. Editing and flow were pretty good, LOTS of commas.
