This was a really good, short, age-gap, long time unrequited love story. I mean, through in the fact that he's a teacher and we could of had a perfect book! The reason I took away one star is mainly because it skipped over some of the things I loved such as the confrontation with the parents. Otherwise it's a lovely little book that I will probably re-read at some point.

I loved this decadent, taboo tale. Judge and Devon's story is filled with intense emotions, drama, heat and just a touch of the forbidden too make everything even more delicious!! A great read in a terrific series! I am choosing to post a candid review.

Judge has been in love with his best friends daughter for years. But he waits until she is in college to move on those feelings. Devon has loved Judge since she was a teenager but never let anyone know because she didn’t think he had any feelings for her. Then she decided to go to college where he is a professor. And oh wow! Loved this book!

Devon enrolls in Diamond University making it hard for Judge to ignore his attraction to Devon. Devon is there on a music scholarship she won in a contest. This is the first time they've seen together in years. Judge made it his business to stay away from Devon b/c she is too much of a temptation. What Judge Copeland doesn't know is Devon harbors the same dark desires for him as he does for her. Now alone together in England. Will Devon and Judge face their hidden desires together or ignore it?
I liked this book. I liked the story and the characters. I liked it wasn't only lust. Judge seemed to fall in love with Devon through the years. He wanted to protect her and just love her. Her love for Judge was not a game to her. It was very honest and pure. Lol. The book is well written. It was repetitive The characters seemed to say the same thing over and over again. Lol. The sex scenes are hot and loving. It is written well. Judge and Devon made love not just had sex. This story is short and sweet. It wraps up beautifully with no questions left to ask. This is the first book I've read by this author and it will not be my last. I'm going to sign up for her newsletter. She’s gained a new fan. Oh my sweetness! I think this book filled all of my teacher/student, Dad’s best friend, older man/younger woman romance cravings for a hot minute. I really enjoyed the chemistry between Judge and Devon and I really loved that Devon wasn’t one of the immature heroines that I usually run across in these type of romances. Colleen created a story that captured my attention, she had my heart aching for these two and praying that one of them would make a move - when it had happened, I almost swooned out of my chair. This one is a quicker read that packs a ton of longing, chemistry, steam, and the sweetest happily ever after. It’s perfect for one of those slow work day (which I’m guilty of today) or lunch time reads so you can get your sweet romance fix in.

Told in dual POV, this May/December romance is easy to read, has a good plot, interesting characters and great details that help visualize the academic settings. Devon has crushed on her father's best friend for years. Judge is racked by guilt by his feelings for Devon and tries to avoid her...until he can't. As consenting adults on a college campus, is the time right for them to finally give in to their true feelings? This is an entertaining love story supported with years of longing and passionate fantasies from both individuals. Detailed intimacy, thoughtful dialogue, themes of love and protection in this short, satisfying romance!

"Educated" is a well written May/December love story between Judge and Devon, and proves that when it comes to love, age has no part of it. Judge is Devon's father's best friend that she has been in love with since she was a teenager. Now that she is of age and in college, she is made even more aware of her feelings for Judge when he comes to her rescue in college. Neither one of them knows how the other one feels, but there is no denying it when they come into each other's presence. Once they finally realized how they each felt about each other, there was no keeping them apart. I highly recommend this book to anyone that is looking for an escape and who is a sucker for a good love story!

This book pushes the boundaries of what society thinks is acceptable and falling for your best friends daughter isn’t one of them!
But no matter how much distance Judge puts between himself and Devon they still seem to be drawn together.
A well written romance, the one thing I unfortunately couldn’t get to grips with is that Judge is supposed to be English and no one from the UK would ever be called Judge! I have since found out though that this is a double entendre as of course he will be judged because he falls in love with his best friends daughter and I guess it is a fiction novel after all and a very enjoyable and entertaining one at that.

Devon is a student of fine arts and the daughter of his close friend. He has wanted her but kept his distance because she is so tempting. She has thought that he was a sexy man but did not think he would be interested in someone like her. When he comes to her defense all bets are off. They cannot deny the attraction they feel and things change quickly. This is a short, sweet and steamy age gap story.

Holy cow! This a multiple taboo story - older man/younger woman, best friend's daughter. It's short and anything but sweet - it's wicked and decadent, with the very best ending. And I loved it! Judge and Devon are likable people, with real life issues. Their journey has a few speed bumps along the way. The book is well-written, with plenty of detail, despite it's shorter length. And now, I want to read the rest of the series.

I loved every minute of this best friend’s daughter romance. Judge is a college professor and Devon is the daughter of his best friend. When Devon ends up at the same university where he teaches it’s only a matter of time before they both give in to the feelings they have for each other. I love a good obsessive/possessive romance. Judge is all alpha male and ready to make Devon his woman. This book really brings all kinds of heat, along with great characters, a terrific story, and a perfect ending.

Both Judge and Devon has feelings for each other for years but Devon being Judges friends daughter was a big problem. When Devon started attending the college Judge taught at it became hard to resist each other. I love this story and the amazing characters! It’s a great book to snuggle up with on an afternoon for a great read. I love the Taboo Tales series! I can’t wait for the next book in this series!

A sweet steamy read.
An age gap taboo romance read that had the heat level and sizzle I love in a story. Judge is a professor who happens to have Devon, his best friends younger daughter in his class. What he tried to avoid all this time surges forward as their chemistry explodes in a taboo relationship that cannot be denied. A delightful read from start to finish that will leave you wanting more.

Judge knows that his best friend and old college roommate's daughter Devon is definitely "off-limits", too bad love doesn't know that! The chemistry just keeps getting hotter every time they see each other until finally, it's out of their control. Things get sketchy when her Dad finds out... Even tho it's a taboo storyline, it's very well written and a great read!

Judge and Devon: wow what a couple! This was definitely a steamy taboo and one of my new favorites in this category. I love how Devon goes for what she wants, even when society and rules say it's wrong. Judge tries to stay away, but can't deny his longing any more. Did you have a crush on a teacher when you were young? I DID. Devon is off limits as His best friends daughter, not to mention a student but some times you just can't help yourself. Taboo relationships like this rarely survive the firestorm but in this case... Happily ever after wins out.

What a Love Story!!
Regardless of age difference, love truly does conquer all! I can't say enough good things about this book. Lots of heat, sweet love, well written...just a great story that will stay with you long after the last page is read. Highly recommend!

I enjoyed reading this hot and steamy tale that is full of action, lots of hot chemistry and plenty of twists and turns. Judge and Devon are excellent characters in this well written tale that I recommend as well worth reading.

A romantics must read, this story is about a love that shouldn’t be but a connection stronger than they could fight. I find it sweet even though it can melt your e-reader!
