This was better than book 1, for me because we get to see Teze show off in his martial artistry and also learn a lot of back story on him, and the side characters. I’m also loving the deception that’s showing up, in regards to the bad guys “fixing the issue”. This still continues to remind me of some sort of Resident Evil, and I love it.

On se retrouve pour une nouvelle chronique, avec le tome 2, de King of Eden, une série mélangeant histoire, horreur, archéologie et organisations secrètes ! Une série palpitante qui, jusqu’à présent, réussi à me tenir en haleine.
Avec ce nouveau tome, on en apprend un peu plus sur l’origine du virus « Loup », mais également sur ceux en possédant des souches et qui sont donc à l’origine des diverses épidémies ici et là. Tout semble partir d’un même endroit, et lié à un accident archéologique ayant laissé peu de survivants… Mais tout ça pourrait également remonter à bien plus loin dans le temps.
Plusieurs groupes commencent à se former, que se soit pour récupérer le virus en tant qu’arme chimique, ou au contraire, en comprendre la source et trouver un moyen de l’exterminer. Teze, le protagoniste, nous informe que malgré qu’il s’agisse d’un virus, les contaminés n’agissent pas sans raison, mais sont au contraire « guidés » par quelqu’un d’autres… Il parcourt le monde afin de trouver de qui il s’agit, car il y a des chances que se soit lui qui détienne la souche et qui revend celle-ci à des terroristes…

The artsyle is amazing I am sooo in looovee with it! 😍 the plot itself was getting much further with its political revenue, hoping volume 3 would get the actions kicking it even more! ✨
The historical explanation behind it was a okay for me for someone who is not from an ancient historical background 😂 Although I do know some of it such as Dracula and all…manga like this is certainly not for all as it does plays a lot with current political issues.

The apocalyptic atmospherics of Underworld with the creepy horror vibe of The Exorcist! Only Kate Beckinsale could make it better. The global conspiracy kicks up a notch in this one after Teze Yoo spills the beans about the Romanian dig site.

This entry definitely shifts and elevates this story from pure horror to political thriller with horror elements. I’m hooked to the mystery. I love the character of Teze Yoo. This has been a fascinating find.
