Lovely little book - I was given this as a gift upon my baptism and I've only just got around to reading through it properly from cover to cover. It's designed to just be dipped into here and now but I found it really encouraging and equally engaging as a proper page-turner of a book. A lot of the prayers are honest, simple and at the same time encapsulate exactly what you would want to say when speaking to God about the topics discussed. It's well set out into little blocks of about 4 prayers on a chosen theme - such as gifts, healing etc. I think this book is an excellent little gem and the perfect present for a fellow christian friend.
