Alice and the gang are all grown up and life in Wonderland will never be the same. Alice is running her own bake shop with her sister. She's gone into battle a few times and what did she get for her trouble? A broken heart. Not again. But someone has kidnapped the White Pawn and the White Rabbit pleads with Alice to find her. If not, war will erupt and no one will be safe. She says no but is forced to change her mind when Jay walks through the door. One kiss is all it takes to melt her resolve. As they search through Wonderland for the Pawn, Alice and Jay heat up the sheets. Will Alice forgive Jay and see this dragon sexy beast for the man of her dreams or is it too late?

Warning: this steamy dark fairy tale is for adults 18+.

Wow, what a great romantic comedy. There's plenty of hot lovin' going on here and I loved it! Cinders took Alice in Wonderland and gave it a twisted make-over. The chemistry between Alice and Jay sizzled my e-reader. I did find the plot sketchy at times but overall a good story.

If you're looking for a fun read, try this. I'll never look at Wonderland the same. lol!

Needs work

While the story premise was good, this story lacked flow in parts. It also desperately needs more editing as words were missing or wrong and punctuation was in the wrong spots.

I may have rated it higher if the book had actually been edited. It was difficult to remain in the story when punctuation was all over the place. Words seemed autocorrected at times (hypocrites to Hippocrates, for example), names changed spellings, and point of view shifted within the same paragraph. One moment it was first person, a few words later it was third person but the same character. The author has a large bibliography behind them. Surely there's an editor somewhere that would take on the task.

Interesting read!

A very interesting story about Wonderland. Lots of twists and turns. A lot of different characters and some familiar ones. Fun to read. There are lots of smexy scenes throughout the story.

Ooh what a fun retelling of Alice in wonderland. All your favorite characters make an appearance but they are not what you will expect. Love the twist on the original plot. Great characters and some serious steam. Love the FMCs snarky mouths and sassy behavior

I absolutely loved this re-imagining of Alice in Wonderland. Of course, Alice is an adult in this book and it is definitely an adult book. There is lots of sex in the book but it can stand alone without it. I love idea of Alice and her sister being stuck and making a life in Wonderland. I love the crazy, wacky shifters in the book. It still has all the imagination and fun of the fairy tale we all loved growing up but with the added romance and steamy heat for us adults. I am once again reading out of order, but I plan to go back and read the rest.

A Sensual Retelling

Good characters and storyline. An editor definitely could've been used. There were several grammatical errors that made it hard to understand things. There were also instances of names being spelled differently that threw me off a few times and was distracting from the story. Cute little couples with a lot of spice, though! I'm a bit confused as well because the Kindle book I read was called "Jabberwocky" not "Wicked Wonderland" but that's what Kindle synced it with.

Had potential

This book really did have so much potential to be amazing, but it just wasn’t. The book dragged on, lots of spelling errors, and lots of plot holes. The book was fine. I just wish it had been taken to its full potential because it really could’ve been great.

Wanted to give it a 4 star for the story but there was a few unnecessary errors writing the wrong characters name. Story had nice progress a continuation from the original story. Spice wasn't excessive compared to the plot, it blended well.

The story was fun. The characters well fleshed out. But I took off a full star (debated on taking off 2, it was that bad) for the desperate need for proof reading and editing.

The story was really promising as a retelling and the mystery whodunit story really intrigued me! I kept getting pulled out of the story from typos and grammar things. It started small but as the story continued they kept happening and I struggled to look past it. It read more as a fanfiction and less like a full edited book and the story plot ran all together at the end and had some holes that just got skated over and felt rushed.

Overall I did liked the story but was disappointed by the lackluster end and the fast paced shoved together couples. Not a bad story but not one I would read again.

Wicked Wonderland Down the Rabbit Hole (Dark Fairy Tales Book 4) by S. Cinders Wicked Wonderland: Down the Rabbit Hole By: S. Cinders
Wow! It's Wonderland... Like It's Never Been Experienced Before!
In "Wicked Wonderland: Down the Rabbit Hole" you're definitely not in Alice's atypical fairytale Wonderland that you once read about; instead, S. Cinders transports you to a wonderfully "Wicked Wonderland" where a slightly familiar, yet definitely altered, cast of characters come together in a race to defeat Evil. It's a sinfully Se*y, imaginative ride where many of the beloved characters show up in all new roles to take on Queens, Knights, & so much More...
S. Cinders has an amazing talent for retelling & twisting fairytales. She's given Wonderland & its tale new life & added sensuality, resulting in a tantalizing mix of eroticism, mystery, drama, romance, & even adult fighting (meaning death)... Dunn, Dunn, Dunn, Dunn!! I daresay there's a plethora of intriguing material that'll keep you reading & rereading "Wicked Wonderland: Down the Rabbit Hole" for years to come. It's definitely a must have, One-Click addition for your library.
I was gifted an ARC of "Wicked Wonderland: Down the Rabbit Hole" by S. Cinders via Booksprout; this is the 3rd book of this series I've read, & I love what she's doing with these fairytales. I thoroughly enjoyed this book; therefore, I'm gladly recommending it based upon its own merits... I'm definitely going to be be looking for MORE of this author's work in the future. All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given!
Until next time... Happy Reading!

I'm sad that this wasn't better

This book had an interesting concept! And I am super disappointed that it was littered with spelling errors, grammar issues, and weird first person writing here and there but mainly third person writing, and sometimes even the names of characters got misspelled or even swapped.

And I found some of the love interests to be meh and I thought they just jumped the gun and boom smut.

I will say that near the ending of the book is where it really got better. Around when they went through the looking glass. But it still had a lot of spelling errors, etc.

I really wanted to like this book. I'm absolutely obsessed with Alice in Wonderland retellings and I jumped on the chance to read this! It honestly could be really good if not for everything that was bad. The book just needs a good edit! And I really wanted to leave a much better rating, but I just didn't like it. I'm sorry.

Fourth book on the Dark Fairy Tales Series that S. Cinders is putting into this world and I'm, again, with my mouth hanging open in awe at the talent this author has to twist Fairy Tales in a way that shocked me and also hooked me, leaving me with some kind of anxiety to get my hands on the next book.

We get to see, in this particular story, the characters that we love so much from the classic Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carol tale. Each character is completely different, at least in my opinion, making this re-telling a completely new take on the original story. It's also, a Wonderland that we haven't seen, much darker, mysterious, erotic and intriguing.

There is no one particular couple, but a few of them that we follow during the story and I have to say there was not a dull moment. I couldn't put the book down since I started reading it, so I ended up finishing it in one sitting while my family was taking a long, long nap after lunch. I was tired afterward but it was so worth it *smile*

I think this is a must-have in your personal library of re-tellings, especially if you enjoy the darker side of things *wink*

Wicked Wonderland: Down the rabbit hole is a steamy, intriguing, sexy, smart and fun ride.

Alice's character, although different from its original counterpart is still a young woman with a strong personality undeterred by the slightest of obstacles that come her way. She alongside Lori, her younger sister own a diner which they both work themselves.

After years of not seeing the jabberwocky, Jay for short; they both embark on a trip that regards the investigation of the red knight.
Once she sets her sights on him, the attraction is instantaneous. He is also drawn to her and the sexual attraction becomes stronger.

The more time they spend together they realize their feelings for one another despite not being able to accept it due to their differences.

Lori is a character much more different than Alice yet despite her attraction for mouse leads her to thread through a cautious path.

Overall, not giving away more this story catches your attention from page one, a page turner that will blow your mind.

Great book! This book was a twist on the original Alice in Wonderland story and what a great twist it is. The author managed to turn a well known and loved fairy tale into an original story with great believable characters that draws you in from the very start and she has that magic that keeps you turning the pages to the very end. I will warn you that this book is for over 18's as it does have some hot scenes in it, so if that isn't for you then neither is this book. The hot scenes were well balanced within the storyline and didn't overshadow the book as some tend to do. I was only upset when I realised this was actually book number four in a series and that I had missed the three previous books, which I hope to rectify soon. But by me saying that I should add this book is a stand-alone, as the previous books were about other fairy tales. This is the first book I have read by this author but I thoroughly enjoyed it and so I will be adding her to my authors to read list. If you enjoy twisted fairy tales and paranormal romance with some added heat, then you will certainly enjoy this book. This is the fourth installment in the Dark Fairy Tales Series and another entertaining interpretation from S. Cinders of a childhood tale we likely all know quite well. This version however, is strictly for adults with plenty of erotic scenes and some occasional spanking between consenting partners. The story is engaging with some very clever plot twists; a lot of action; some intrigue, and humour. I confess that at times, I struggled to follow the plot – there were just so many twists and sub-plots. Despite that, I really enjoyed this darker retelling. I appreciated the deviousness of the Red Queen in her many machinations to overthrow her sister, the White Queen. I also liked that the women were fearless, sassy, take charge kind of gals. This was a nice change of pace – the women took the lead while their men followed and provided support.

When reading a book by S. cinders I’ve come to expect a couple things -

It’s going to be HOT
It’s going to have character development
It’s going to have emotions
It’s going to be well written
It’s going to be unique

Ms. cinders writes in a way I’ve rarely seen, she has one storyline with sometimes multiple couples finding their hea. Sometimes just one other, but there is almost always an alternate love story going on through the story. It’s always done well and does not distract from the storyline but instead adds more to it.
Another wonderful thing about Ms. Cinders stories, the fairytales are fantastically done! They stay true to the original but are redone in a fascinating way. I never get bored while reading one of her fairytales.
Highly recommend. You read this, you’ll find a whole new viewpoint for the Jabberwocky ;-)

Once again S.Cinder has turned Once Upon A Time into a saucy sassy naughty rip roaring excellent read.
If you loved Alice in Wonderland and adored the devilry of the Jabberwocky you will go wild for WICKED Wonderland.
All my childhood favorites are wrapped up in here. The Mad Hatter is crazy as ever with the March Hate coming in a close second. The Red Queen is here dripping in evilness and after our lovers....Aww and speaking of lovers! Naughtiness abounds. Hot men know how to keep the ladies happy. Where are these guys in RL? I ask you?
I give this fantastic read the big five for imagination, for characters, thrills, adventures, naughtiness and just pure entertainment. You won't be disappointed!

SCinders does it again with her twisted fairytales. Her twisted take on the classics leaves you wanting more. Her characters are lovable. The story is exciting, sexy, hot, and enjoyable.

Alice is called in to help Wonderland once again. Now older and running a Cafe with her sister Lory, Alice sets out on a journey to find the missing White Pawn. She's not alone on this journey because in comes an old friend that she saved the first time around. Jay is handsome and full os regrets. Will Alice forgive him? Will they find the White Pawn? Read to find out!!

Wicked Wonderland: Adult Dark Fairy Tales by S Cinders is an Action & Adventure, Paranormal, Shifter Romance.
War breaks out in Wonderland when the Mad Hatter accuses the Red Knight of kidnapping the only daughter of the White King and Queen. Alice is done meddling in the squabbles between the two houses and refuses yo return. Jabberwocky, a hot shapeshifter refuses to enter the battle and fight for the White Kingdom unless the lovely Alice will fight beside him. Another wonderfully written book by the author. A very steamy enjoyable romance with no cliffhanger, no cheating, and an HEA.

I found this on Kindle Unlimited.

Well, it's smut. And for smut, it's actually pretty good. I liked the different couples, and the differences in the characters from the more well-known versions. They do have the usual smut problem of being unable to do more than one thing without having to stop and have sex. At least it was fun to read sex.

Really, the whole thing reads like fan-fic and as such, I wouldn't pay for this outside of KU. But the story line is new and interesting. For that it got an extra star.

Overall, it was amusing. I liked some of the other books in this series, and I wouldn't mind reading more from this author if it comes along. And is free.

This book desperately needs an editor. There are typos all over the place (fun examples include the phrase: “they were a bunch of Hippocrates” with the capital H and all instead of hypocrites or “and came back to devourer her once again”). It’s not just once or twice. It’s basically two per chapter at minimum. There are also messed up subject-verb agreements, extra commas all over the place, and different POVs within the same paragraphs. How is this author supposedly a bestselling one? It was painful to get through even just the first pages.

Also the gender dynamics at play here are super gross. Everyone got on my nerves. I really would not recommend this book to anyone.

Alice in Wonderland re imagined and on Steroids!
Take Alice, add some sexy hunky Jabberwocky Shifter men, throw in a few other well known Alice in Wonderland characters as shifters, a nice intriguing mystery and mix all together and you get a fabulous tale reminiscent of the original
This author has made an adult version of Alice, and then some! It is imaginative and clever and I loved it!!!!
I recommend this to any who love paranormal, romance, adventure and thrillers

So what do you think happened after Through the Looking Glass? In Wicked Wonderland Alice is all grown up and living in Wonderland with her sister. Jay the Jabberwocky and Alice join up on a quest against the Red Queen. All the usual suspects are here - the White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat, Madhatter, March Hare ... as well as some new characters. The plot takes twisty, fun, surprising and occasionally violent turns while staying true to the feeling of the original story.
