የቼክ ሪፐብሊክ ተወላጅ የነበረው አዶልፍ ፓርልሳክ ኢትዮጵያ በመጣ ጊዜ ሀገራችን ከ40 ዓመታት በኋላ ተመልሶ ሊወራት የተነሳባትን የጠላት ፋሺስት ጦር ለመመከት በዝግጅት ላይ ነበረችና አዶልፍ ፓርልሳክ ከኢትዮጵያ ጎን ሊሰለፍ ተነሳ በዚህም ንጉሡ ፊት ቀርቦ የሰሜን ጦር አዛዥ ለነበሩት የራስ ካሳ ጦር አማካሪ ይሆን ዘንድ ወደ ደብረ ታቦር ተላከ አዶልፍ ፓርልሳክም ደብረ ታቦር ደርሶ ከራስ ካሳ ጎን እየሆነ መነጋገርና መወያየት ጀመረ አንድ ቀንም ራስ ካሳ አዶልፍ ፓርልሳክን እንዲህ ሲሉ ጠየቁት "እነዚህ ጣሊያኖች የመርዝ ጢስ ይጠቀሙብን ይሆን" አዶልፍ ፓርልሳክ ግን ያልጠበቀው ጥያቄ ነበርና ለጥቂት ደቂቃ ዝም አለ ራስ ካሳም ዝምታውንም ተከትለው" ለነገሩ ቢጠቀሙም አንፈራም ምክንያቱም እኛ ሌት ተቀን የጢስ መከላከያ ጭንብል(ማስክ) እየሰራን ነው" ብለው ከተራ ጨርቅ የተሰራ በራስ የሚጠለቅ በሁለት ዐይኖች ትክክል መስታወት የተለጠፈበት ጭንብል(ማስክ) መሳይ ጨርቅ እያሳዩት "የልጄ የደጅ አዝማች ወንደሰን ግኝት ነው ፈረንጆቹ ካላቸው ጭንብል የቀረው ነገር ቢኖር ያ አፍ አካባቢ የሚንጠለጠለው ነገር ብቻ ነው" በማለት ተናገሩ አዶልፍ ፓርልሳክም በሰማው ነገር በጣም አዘነ የሚመልስላቸው ነገርም አጣ ምክንያቱም የጣሊያን ጦር መርዛማ ጋዝ ከተጠቀመ አይደለም አሁን በሰሩት ይቅርና ዘመናዊ ጭንብል ቢጠቀሙ እንኳን ከዚያ መርዛማ ጋዝ መትረፍ የማይታሰብ ነው በዚህ ጊዜም አዶልፍ ፓርልሳክ ዝም እንዳለ በመነሳት ማረፊያ ቤቱ ገብቶ ለረጅም ሰዓት ስቅስቅ ብሎ አለቀሰ ወዲያውም "ኢትዮጵያ ማንም አይረዳትም ለዚች የተቀደሰች ሀገር ከእነዚህ ምስኪን የገበሬ ወታደሮች ጎን መሰለፍና በጀግንነት መውደቅ በእግዚአብሔር የሚታደሉት ታላቅ ፀጋ ነው ከዚች ቅጽበት ጀምሮ ኢትዮጵያዊ ሆኛለው አዎ የሀገሬው ሰው እንደሚለው የሀገሬን ድንበር ጥሶ የሚመጣውን የወራሪ ጦር እቆላዋለሁ እንደሙጃ እዘረጋዋለሁ አጨደዋለሁ" እያለ በወኔ እስከ መጨረሻው የኢትዮጵያ ጦር አጋር ሊሆን ተነሳ እንዳለውም እስከ ጦርነቱ ፍጻሜ ከኢትዮጵያኑ ጋር ቆይቶ ያየውና ያሳለፈውን ሁሉ "Habešská Odyssea"(የሀበሻ ጀብዱ በሚል ወደ አማርኛ ተተርጉማል) በሚለው በሚለው መጽሐፋ አስቀመጠው፡፡

The book charts Italian fascist Benito Mussolini’s imperialist dream as he invaded Ethiopia for the second time in 1935, with the intention of making it an Italian colony. This act of aggression shook the country to its core and forced Emperor Haile Selassie into exile after the war was lost by the Ethiopians. Mussolini knew that Ethiopia had little to no chance of winning against the superior weapons and vast numbers of highly trained soldiers they had at their fingertips yet this didn't make it any less bloody, violent and downright brutal. The story covers the Ethiopian resistance throughout the war.
Our fore fathers fought for their country with their bare foot and with no enough food to sustain throughout the war and even with out much modern weapon. They believed in their harmony, courage and most of all God to lead them to victory! They were loyal to their superiors, to the king. Sadly there were also those who decided to work for the enemy and fight against their brothers and sisters. The book shows these two Ethiopians and the effect they had on the outcome of the war!

I love this book. Makes me love my country and the ppl that fought for.
