The First Special Service Force is an elite commando unit composed of American and Canadian troops. From the start, the Force is intended to go where other soldiers won't. Very quick book, and interesting. I am not sure how much this is actually based on real events. It felt more like reading an action movie with Stallone as the main actor. Great light read for peopl who like to get through books quickly.

Bought at the Scholastic book fair in middle school and finally read it. Like 3.5 stars maybe. I went through the first half pretty quickly. Camaraderie and stuff is fun to see. Not a fan of the view on killing that was presented. The ending was good (by that I mean the last few pages).
