This was an enjoyable read. I enjoyed reading about their love story and how they fell in love. I enjoyed the intensity and the hot sex scenes.

Vicky’s best friend, Luna, runs a high-end escort service for wealthy business men, celebrities, or politicians who need a partner for business and social events. Vicky is 8 months out of a divorce. Her ex had criticized everything she did, and Vicky’s self-esteem was practically non-existent even now. When one of Luna’s best clients, Axel Remington, calls needing a more refined escort to an event, she volunteers Vicky to be his date. Luna wants Vicky to get out of her rut and back into dating.
Axel Remington doesn’t do relationships. His belief is that all relationships end badly. Axel is intrigued with Vicky after she charms the member of Parliament he wants to persuade with a business.proposition. After they finish the night with dancing, he does something he has never before done with a paid escort. Axel invites Vicky up to his room.
That night together changes them both. Vicky finally feels wanted and beautiful, and Axel wants more than one night with Vicky.
Nicky Hardwood and Jeanne du Barry have struck gold with this novel. I cannot wait to read more of this book series or any of their other writings. Brava!

Overall i would say i really liked this story. It sucked me in and i read it very quickly. There was a LOT of sex in this book, i felt it was a bit too much to be honest. We know the oral skills are excellent on both sides though. I might have picked up a tip. Kidding. Ok but seriously, a lot of it. There was some relationship stuff, but not much to make me believe they fell in love. More they fell in lust. To each their own. There was an allusion at the end to a sequel as well. The writing was ok, it wasn't bad, it wasn't great. There was a part (in the sauna) where he took his shorts off twice. Some little things like that. But it was mostly solid. I give it a 4, maybe a 3.5 but definitely not a 3, so a 4 will do.

Enjoyable quick read on bouncing back into the dating game
I enjoyed this great read about bouncing back into the dating game for Vicky thanks to her best friend and owner of an escort agency. Vicky not only clicks with Axel, her client, but also helps his business. By the end of the evening, it is hard to deny the sparks between them. Yet Vicky has to be coaxed to be Axel’s escort again, but surprisingly enjoys herself nonetheless. What will happen when Axel’s lack of control in a heated situation triggers visions of Vicky’s past? The steam between the two is incredible and you feel the hesitancy by the two to move forward with something more. This was my first book by the authors and I thoroughly enjoyed the story!

Vicky is a divorcee whose ex husband had taken her confidence from her and made her feel worthless. Axel was a billionaire who had had an unhappy childhood and did not do relationships. Can these two find their happy ending. Vicky's friend Luna wanted her to pretend to be an escort for Axel and they spent a week together. Loved the characters and this was a refreshing story. Felt for them both when they split up due to a little intrigue which added to this story. Loved the read and recommend it. Look forward to Luna's story with her new client!

Axel and Vicky make a great couple but they aren't a couple. I loved this story, it was a slow build romance, sexy and hot, mutual attraction and respect. The character development also impressed me. Axel was a mystery, very much a business man but a wide history with many facets that made him who he was. Where as with Vicky she had a past not a nice one but she was making her way back to her true self. Meeting each other only helped speed the process. It was such an easy read, fast paced, a real feel good story and a credit to these new authors. Very enjoyable and I highly recommend this book.

Vicky, recently divorced and still recovering from a distant and emotionally abusive husband, gets convinced to help out her friend Luna by taking a job as a, strictly business no hanky-panky, escort for an evening that ends up being very much not strictly business. Vicky considers it a one-night stand but Axel, the client, has other ideas and the evening is followed by a week-long trip to Manchester.
This is a story about a woman who is getting back on her feet and rediscovering who she is and we get to go along on that ride. The story rang true, for me anyway, the dialog was honest and the sex was hot. The ending is not a cliff-hanger but is a great set up for a second book which I am looking forward to.

Oh my, I just loved this story! Vicky, way to go to get your self-confidence back! Axel, I love you!!!! This was multiple pages of sexy indulgence! Du Barry and Harwood created a tingler! Will we see these characters again? I hope so!

It might be a first book for duo Jeanne du Barry and Nicky Hardwood, but I'm sure the debut to many. Such sensual lovemaking interweaves through the storyline, bringing forth angry sex and ending with love sex. There is no way you can miss how sex could be. Axel and Vicky were just meant to be.

Loved this first book by Nicky Hardwood and Jeanne du Barry.
OMG I could not put this book down is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.But I recommend this book for 18+
Vicky has just been divorced for eight months and her friend Luna ran a high End Escort Agency in London West End for the rich.public figures, politicians or celebrities.
While they are out to lunch Luna gets a phone call from one of her clients and he had a particular escort that he wanted on short notice to a business meeting with a Member of Parliament and she had to be well spoken.Luna gave him a list of names but they were not what he was looking for then she had idea she told him that she had the right person for him and gave out Vicky address.
Axel Remington was surprised by the the way Vicky carried her self at the meeting and also that she was knowledgeable.The evening went well they dance together on the floor and the chemistry was there because Vicky was different to the other escorts that he was used to the night ended and he didn’t want to let her go so he invited her to his room.
That night things changed for both of them.
Vicky got her confidence back and her decided it was time for a make over. Luna her friend phones and says that axel wants her to escort him to Manchester for the week but that night at the hotel was only to be for the one night and she was not going to see him again but she goes anyways and things heat up again.
The story lines and characters are great you get to feel about there life’s and watch the chemistry between get really hot.
I don’t want to spoil and say anymore but it a page turner and very steamy and explicit in places so if you like reading books like that this is the book for you.
I hope they do another book.

Vicky was married to a verbally abusive ex who slowly but surely had chipped away at her confidence and self esteem. She eventually plucked up the courage to walk away but she was left empty. Her best friend Luna ran a successful, above board escort agency, employing ex-runway models. While out for their weekly catch up, Luna received a phone call from a very particular client. Knowing that Vicky would fit the bill perfectly, she set her friend up as his ‘escort’ for the evening. Vicky was furious. Luna had been trying to convince her to get back on the saddle but this was a crazy notion. Reluctantly she went along with the evening and thoroughly enjoyed herself and found herself attracted to her ‘date’. Axel was incredibly attracted to Vicky. She was nothing like his other escorts. The night ended with fireworks and Axel knew he had to see her again but Vicky knew she had to keep away. However life has a way of interfering.....This is a brilliant, well written story. It has both an interesting plot and characters. It hooks you in from the start and you can’t put it down til you know how it ends. Loved it:-)

This erotic read features Vicky Burton-Leigh, newly divorced who reluctantly agrees to take on a client of her best friend’s escort agency, and Axel Remington, a Luna Escort client and businessman who does not do personal relationships. Axel is surprised with Vicky’s persona and is attracted to her. When he asks her back to his hotel room for a nightcap, the sparks immediately combust for a one night fling. Their relationship continues even though they agree to enjoy the moment with no strings attached. However, Axel and Vicky find they really do need each other. I highly recommend this phenomenal book with its believable and heartfelt characters and a plot with past traumas, emotional healing, eroticism, and sizzling romance.

This book was outstanding! It's the first book I've read by author Nicky Hardwood but it won't be my last. I would easily rank this book five stars. Axel and Vicky were wonderful characters that had explosive chemistry! My kindle is still on fire! This book is a must read and I highly recommend!
