Look, I enjoy a huge blockbuster thriller, gory mystery that has more twists and turns than a pretzel BUT I also really enjoy a simple, not so complicated mystery now and again. London Lovett does an excellent job at creating just such a cozy mystery. Do I often suspect who the culprit is early on? Yes. But do I care? No! The Port Danby Cozy Mystery Series provides a rich blend of scene and character building. Without seeming forced or chopped, we know exactly who and what is going on in a minimal amount of time. So, yeah. Addicted to this series! :)
I have really enjoyed reading the series and can’t wait to begin book 10. I don’t usually write reviews but the characters and love interests in this series are compelling. The stories are varied and there are some older characters. I think the audience range would be 20 and up. Now to book 10.
Lacey super sniffer, smells the clues up fast. Lacey used to Chase after Det. Briggs alot. Now they are a couple, but now she is crossing the police tape of crime scenes. That is irritating. Still a fast read.
