-ow drama - a woman makes it look like she is with the hero. She is not
-om drama - a coworker of the heroine causes drama
-virgin heroine / Hero celibate for several years
-I loved the hero and his OTT antics but the heroine was kind of a smart ass that pushed away.

As much as I love CM Steele this book felt like there were gaps in the story and it jumped from one scene to another I still enjoyed Daniel and Sammie’s story and loved how it linked in with the Steele Riders books.
Sammie is the younger sister of Doc, she grew up estranged from her brother and not even knowing of his existence until five years ago. After her childhood she finds it hard to trust men but has made a life within the Steele Riders MC and thinks of them as family. But when she meets Daniel the older brother of Sophia her sister in law she is scared by the immediate attraction she feels towards him she does what she can to distance herself from him, believing him to be a player especially with what she has learned of his fighting profession but now he is in her town and making it clear that he wants her, can she really trust this man or will he break her heart?
Daniel is a champion MMA fighter, but after an injury he knows that he is coming to the end of the road with his career. It’s all that he and his twin brother have ever known, but he needs surgery and knows that this may be his last career fight. Attending his sister’s wedding his life changes in a way that he never expected when he spots Sammie, she knocks him clear off his feet, but this woman fights her attraction to him knowing he has to give her space he lets her push him away but not for long whether she knows it or not she is his and he intends to claim her. Can Daniel convince Sammie that what they share is more than just a fling?
Short and sweet story and although it is a standalone it does link with the Steele Riders and in my opinion there are some parts of the story interlinked so would recommend reading the Steele Riders books first.

I liked Daniel and Sammie. Insta-Love and possessive hero. There is some angst but it is a safe read. Great epilogue with 3 kids. Hero was celibate and I think heroine was a virgin. Good read.

We know these guys from Steel riders MC universe. Sammi is Doc aka Joe long lost sister and Doc woman Sophia & Boomers wife Crystal brother Daniel is a MMA fighter. Now they are getting their story!!
Daniel sees Sammi at the wedding and he is sprung for her but Sammi at first wants nothing to do with him she feels he like every guy she has been around they talk with their fist.. so Sammi does push away and try to hide her feeling in wanting Daniel. And most of the chapters have them separated in months which sucks but daniel never gave up and once he had her back in his arms he was showing her day and night how much he loves her. And he would wait for her.
Even when a creepy worker tries to flirt with Sammi.
I would love to see cowboy story ;) and Daniel twin.

Holiday Knockout is a part of the Steele Riders Family. It's the story of Doc's sister Sammie and Crystal's brother Danny and it is FABULOUS!! It's an instalove that takes some time to get to a happily ever after. 100% safe from any kind of abuse, no ow/om drama, no cheating. While Holiday Knockout is technically a stand alone in order to really have an understanding of the characters you should read the series in order. Lots of character crossover and continued story lines

Danny and Sammie's story was absolutely fantastic to read. Loved every second of it. She knocked him on his a$$ at first sight and it was so much fun to watch. Virgin h, celibate H, no cheating or abuse. Great little sneak peaks at MC's in future stories and as always, I can't wait to read.

The moment I realized that this one is about Doc's sister Sammie and his wife's brother Danny, I squealed! I loved Doc and Olivia's story so I knew this one was going to be awesome. Holiday Knockout did not disappoint! Sammie has had plenty of experience with guys who are quick to use their fists. So a guy who makes his living doing just that in the MMA world is a man she wants to avoid. Danny doesn't care what he has to do, Sammie is going to be his. He has never felt this way so he has no doubts about them being together. So amazing watching them get their happy ever after and during the holidays was just the cherry on top! Can't wait to see how Danny's twin falls next!

I liked Daniel and Sammie. I found the fighting aspect interesting. Insta-Love and hot alpha,as always! There is some separation and misunderstandings,but only adds to the story line. Mild angst and completely safe.

Sammie doesn't believe there is a good man out there for her. Her mom's relationships were all bad and definitely not a good example. She's finally starting to believe there are some good men out there but she is still afraid of having her heart broken. Danny is an MMA fighter and he's been hoping to find a good woman to spend his life with. When he sees Sammie at his sister's wedding he knows she's who he's been looking for. But can be convince Sammie to take a chance on him? This is a wonderful story and I highly recommend it!

I wanted to give CM Steele another chance after DNFing another one of her books previously but I'm afraid this one is another DNF. The heroine was annoying and the writing style could be better.
If you plan to read this book make sure you read the other Steele novels first because there are a lot of characters thrown at you!

Holiday knockout is book one in the Steele family novella series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Holiday knockout is Sammie and Danny who we have met before in the Steele riders MC series. Sammie is Doc’s little sister and Danny is Sophia and Crystal’s brother. Danny is a fighter that is towards the end of his career due to a shoulder injury. Sammie didn’t have the easiest childhood. That changed six years earlier when she reunited with her older brother. Through Doc and Sophia, Sammie meets Danny. Danny is instantly attracted to Sammie but he has to convince her to give him a chance.
The chemistry between Sammie and Danny is clear to see and I liked them as a couple. I liked how determined Danny was to make Sammie his. I loved how possessive he was of his girl.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue to this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

No words can express about how much I love these Alpha type books! I could sit here all day and read them.
Sammie loves her brother and now that she has found him she is about to lose him again because he has found the love of his life. One thing Sammie didn’t expect was that she would find her man at her brothers wedding.
When she realizes who he is and what he does Sammie has no problem telling him a piece of her mind except she finds out he loves it when she is feisty.
Daniel is all about protecting his family especially his younger sister. When he finds out she is getting married to someone older than her, he is not thrilled about it.

I love holiday reads specially those that are as good as this short read. As soon as Daniel sees Sammie he knows she is his one but Sammie tries to deny what she feels for him. Once Daniel is better after his surgery he goes after his woman and he is ready to prove to her how much he loves her. Will Sammie believe him? And will she give her feeling for him a chance? Safe read with great characters. I can’t wait for more from this author.

Holiday Knockout
I knew the creepy manager was going to be a problem to Sammie. His condescending tone each time he spoke to her and about her brothers should have clued her in. It got worse when Danny came into her life. I'm glad he died before he could get to Sammie, although sorry another woman had to lose her life in the process.

I was keen to read Daniel and Sammies story after seeing the fire and chemistry developing between them in Doc. C.M did not disappoint, this fire was explosive, knock your teeth out sweet and addictive. Those Miller brothers fit right in with the Steele riders. It was the perfect holiday read!

I only read to part way through chapter 2
I was only to the 15% point, when I had reached my vulgar language saturation point. Virtually every single line has something designed to shock, as opposed to entertain. The problem is, we are confronted with this language from every source, all the time. Therefore, since it isn’t intended to entertain, and no longer shocks, it just takes up space. Without all the needless coarse language, I likely wouldn’t have been past the 4% mark.
This is not what I was looking for in a romance.

Another great read though I would had liked to read about Daniel's twin brother.
Daniel is a MMA fighter just like his twin but after his last injury he is facing retirement. He doesn't know what he is going to do with his life. All his attention and fucus turn to Sammie and he knows she is the one. They have a rockie start because Sammie struggles with her feelings for him but when she finally realises he is no going anywhere everything changes. The drama with her coworker is so believable. Highly recommended

I LOVE the Steele Riders MC books so it’s no surprise that this extended universe book is so good. Sammie is the little sister to Doc (Steele Riders) and Danny is the brother of 2 wives of the club. These 2 have instant chemistry and attraction. I love the grown Alphamale who gets knocked down by his One. Great storyline and characters. Love, love, love the extended peeks into the future too. Great read!!!

Author bC.M. Steele is quickly becoming one of my favorite go to authors and I have a list as long as my arm. I really enjoy her short insta love romances she brings on the spice factor with lots of Alpha Bossy hotness men who know how to growl loud enough to make any girl shake in there boots.

I should have read the reviews
Characters deeply underdeveloped (same for plot), bad editing, gratuitous use of time jumps. Not to mention it lacked any of the passion or feels you would expect. I expect better from this author. Unfortunately she didn’t deliver.

It was great to see a book about one of the Miller twins! I was a little disappointed that it wasn't the other brother as there were little hints in Doc's book about him but hopefully that one is soon.
Completely safe with a just a little angst/push and pull but overall cute read.
