Turbulence: an extreme love story: It's time to lose your emotional baggage

Rate this book
Climb to new heights in this sequel to I love you, send money. In this next installment of the Alexis story, you can expect lots more lessons and lots more love.

Wanting nothing more than to put the biggest mistake in her life behind her, Alexis Jordain gives her love life a holiday, so she can get the rest of her world under control. Comfortable flying solo, she never expected the rendezvous with Jack to boomerang.

If their one-night meet-cute in Hawaii left the pair pondering love-at-first-sight, an unforgettable six-day 'first date' had the couple contemplating - could this be happily ever after?

In this extreme love story, Alexis balances a long-distance courtship with learning the art of self-love – both elusive, but for different reasons. The romance freefall triggers her inner demons to rear their ugly heads. Each pose a new threat as Alexis grows more anxious, lonely and depressed. She seeks answers to deeper questions that underpin her life, beliefs, and foundations. Will she leave behind her excess baggage and don her own oxygen mask before it's too late?

Greek philosophers once said, 'knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.' What they neglected to mention, was that it may cause turbulence…

Been there, done that, felt that...when a love affair sizzles, then fizzles. As we follow Alexis throughout Turbulence: an extreme love story, we root for her to have found happily ever after.
After all, she was brave enough to follow her heart around the globe with her daughters in tow.
Yet having loved a career pilot myself, I am well aware of the challenges she faced: Scheduling of trips far from home, temptations inherent in hotel stays with only bartenders and lonely flight attendants for company, a preoccupation for being on time, not only with airplanes but with his planned activities, sleep challenges affected by disturbed circadian rhythms, and the stress of non-revenue flying as his guest. I ached with her, having given so much of her herself to make it work.
I rejoiced with her as she learned so much about herself...what she really wanted and needed.
I look forward to reading the last in her trilogy, to cheer her on in finding her truest love match.
Thank you Jordan for your stories that make us laugh, cry and most of all relate. Bravo!

Following on from "I love you; Send money"; this story shows that joy and happiness can become part of your life following a traumatic event. The author takes us on a journey of life after an online dating scam and how a good life can be rebuilt. Really enjoyed its message of hope.

Following my recent separation this book provided me with useful insights into the world of romance and dating. I found it incredibly helpful during this challenging time. The book is funny and inspiring. Jordan writes in a way that you can lose yourself (and your worries). I have read this book twice now and the first time I couldn't put it down. Gives people going through tough times hope and tools to help!
