Cassandra Jones is timesick. Her battle with the Lost left her physically shattered, and the personal losses she suffered there left her emotionally unstable. As Cass battles for her life in a continual swirl of past, present, and possible futures, Richard York struggles to keep her safe and find a cure for the disease that is clearly killing her. He knows she cannot abandon Zach, but knowing that truth only strengthens his desires to heal her. When Maya agrees to help him, he's grateful. At first. Cass has her own ideas about how to heal. And they don't involve Maya. Chased by a growing horde of vicious shadow demons able to attack her even as she sleeps, Cass fights her way through the mobs of renegade Lost vampires who want her blood. She's ready for them turns out a timesick seer can still kick ass. A timesick seer is a recipe for disaster. Tick tock, Cassandra Jones. Time to run.

I've read all kinds of books in my life. Big Important Books. Falling-apart-from-use books. Comic books. Books with no pictures that I wish had been comic books. Cookbooks. Pulp fiction. Histories. Biographies. You get the idea.

And one day I just reached a point where I wanted to write the kinds of stories I really enjoy reading—stories with humor, action, and all kinds of supernatural shenanigans. And a kick ass heroine who's a real person, with the messy and meaningful challenges real people face in life.

When I'm not writing, I'm outside working in the garden, playing Pokemon Go with my kids, or trying to convince our crazy dog that she really does like baths. Hope your day is full of awesome—thanks for stopping by!

This one was actually more interesting re the story line and made much more sense. The story is progressing nicely now. Now want to go on to Ageless.

This is the 5th book in Laura Legend’s Vision of Vampires series and I think its safe to say it cannot be read as a standalone. Honestly it had been so long since I’d read the fourth book Fearless, even I had trouble connection all the dots and I’ve read the entire series to date. Really not sure how to review this book? It felt like nothing much happened and at the same time a lot happened. Our heroine Cassandra Jones, The Seer has had her psychic vision knocked out of whack. This story revolves around her efforts to cure her “time sickness” before it kills her or before her former allies recapture her and lock her up for their own and what they feel is her safety. There’s a lot here about the time/space continuum or some sort of metaphysical mumbo jumbo I don’t really fully understand as Cass’s mind keeps floating between the present, past and future. Plus, she’s constantly haunted by shadows with razor sharp claws. Cass escapes her confinement in Richard’s chalet in the Alps and teams up with Thomas, the first of the Turned who can help her find the cure for her sickness. It’s a race against time before Cass losses herself permanently to the illness while she is pursued by Red, a giant Amazon with a bad attitude sent by Maya to bring her back. She receives help from an unexpected source, her father Gary. See what I mean? There’s just no way for you to know what’s going on if you don’t read the first four books in this series because the author didn’t spend much time if any trying to help readers who jump into the series here understand all the background events and characters. After five books I’m now fairly vested in this series and would like to see it to its conclusion when Cass finally cures the Lost. I only hope it happens in the next book Ageless and that Ageless comes out soon enough that I haven’t totally forgotten most of the story line and characters to date. In other words I hope the time between the release of Timeless and Ageless is much shorter than it was between Fearless and Timeless. Should be since the author offers up the first two chapters of Ageless at the end of this book. At least in Kindle format. So it must be close to if not already completely written.

After the battle with the Lost, Zack is still missing. Cass has been unconscious for weeks while Richard, Maya and Kumiko try to find out what’s wrong. When she is awake the pain in her eye drives her Seer abilities crazy, giving her surreal visions. Richard is not himself and Maya just wants him to leave Cass to the ‘professionals’, so they can get back to the business of counteracting the Heretic and her power.

I do not like Maya. She is stuck-up, self-centered and cold-hearted. And so are her Amazons.
Although some sad parts, it ended well. Can’t wait for the next book

Fave scenes: the pillow person escapade, NYC subway system, Cass fighting while drugged and Atlantis & the froggie.

Excellent!

Binge read this series. Great storyline even though it distorts the Word of God which policies why believers need to read and know the Bible and truth for yourself! Looking forward to read the finale

Entertaining

More information on Maya was needed. Thank you for the entertainment and Cass finding her strength within. Excited for the next book.

Books are very short and I feel like we've been thrown a few breadcrumbs instead of a slice or the whole loaf. Still waiting for 7th book and a conclusion....
