Moving, eye opening, soul toughing are just a few words I would use to describe this book you really get a look behind the curtain to see what shaped and mold his creative mind. It takes you on a journey through the thoughts and feelings of a mans trill and tribulation with love, racism, oppression group economic and self-love. He speaks his truth as he lived it profoundly inspired by his environment and upbringing and experience. You feel like you can see it happening. This amazing book of poems has the left it's mark on me and I sincerely believe it will do the same to
