He's the hottest new rockstar on the scene.
I was once engaged to his brother.
Can he convince me he's worth the risk?

Asher York.
Talented musician.
The voice of an angel.
The body of an Adonis.
And the man I happened to have a one-night stand with in Vegas.

No big deal, right? What happens in Vegas… Well, you know how the saying goes.

Did I mention I was once engaged to Asher’s brother?

I walked away, hoping my momentary lack of judgment would stay in the past.

I should have known it wouldn’t. Not with my luck.

Now Asher York is back in my life, and that flame I hoped would flicker and die still burns brightly.

But can I put my heart on the line, knowing this man has the power to obliterate it?
Can I allow myself to come between two brothers?

There’s only one way to find out.

Let the games begin…

Dangerous Games is a standalone forbidden relationship, second chance romance, with a rockstar twist.

Phenomenally perfect! This story will play at your heart and make it sing! Beautifully written, prepare to have ALL the feels with Dangerous Games as you are on Izzy’s journey. It vividly paints the story; every emotion, every heartache, every moment of hope and love.

Woah,... My heart. I was not expecting that, but I shouldn't be surprised. When it comes to T.K Leigh books, you never get what you expect, you always get so so so much and this book delivered just that. This isn't my first read by this author... I have been making my way through her backlist when I get the free time and I have to say, this is probably my favorite book by her to date.

I absolutely loved Asher, he had my heart from the very beginning and he holds it still. He's the perfect everything. A rock star, a guy who can be sensitive as well as a look that will have you at his feet. He's sexy as hell. The ultimate book boyfriend in my opinion.

I adored Izzy, she was someone I could see myself in... It was both tragic and amazing in one. The girl went through a lot.. and there is SO MUCH I want to dive into her but I won't.

Just know, you will want to punch something or someone throughout the book. The angst level and sexual tension and the off again on again tug of war was giving me crazy, but just when I was about to throw my kindle... The author does what she does best and delivers an ending that had my heart fluttering and me sighing in relief.

This book was high on the push and pull, and had me on the edge of my seat, it was hot, enticing, entertaining and did touch some harder subjects, which is one of the many reasons I love this author's books. She always brings more than just your typical romance to the table and she writes it flawlessly!

A must-read!

Asher and Izzy – their favorite almost turns into their favorite always. Their relationship is like a boomerang. But like everything in life the road to happiness has not been an easy one. For one thing, Izzy was engaged to Jesse and realizes that she loves Asher also. How can she marry him when she loves another? Asher and Izzy’s story is one filled of so much. She is so afraid of living outside of their bubble. Yes, she loves Asher but when she thinks of life outside their bubble people are bound to get hurt. One person in particular is Jesse. How will he react when finds out that Izzy and Asher have been in love from the beginning. The bound that they share is like no other. Their times at the lake when he would write songs. She was and still is his muse. She never shared that with Jesse. Even though the years have passed, that bond has not changed. They are still connected even though she does not want admit it.

What I love about T K Leigh’s books are her twists and turns. Asher and Izzy’s story is no different. Her books always keep you on the edge of your seat. She always gives her readers what they want and so much more. Like all boomerangs Asher and Izzy finally do come back to one another and what a trip it was.

What can I say about this book that hasn't been said in the reviews posted and won't be in the ones to follow? It is AMAZING! It is EVERYTHING! It has all the feels and some you didn't know you could feel! It has friendship, betrayal, fate, true love, loss, heartbreak, mystery, and loyal friendships. All this is wrapped up in one flowing, page-turning book that I can promise you won't be able to put down. Their love is so strong that when they are together, you can feel the emotion, the passion, the longing and desire! I melted for their times together. But the angst! Oh, be prepared! Your heart will well up and break with Asher and Isabella as they navigate the rocky terrain that is their love story to get their HEA.

I love all T.K. Leigh's books, but I think Asher and Izzy are my favorite couple. Asher has such a pure and gentle heart, and Izzy is his perfect match. She gives so much of herself and will give up her own happiness for Asher and Jesse. Their love was fated, and kept them together (Boomerang!!) every time they were apart. I felt such a personal connection not only with them, but all of Asher's family, especially Grams (I loved her!!) and Izzy's close circle of friends. Chloe and Lincoln's story was a great read, too, it happened during the time span in this book. All the "Games" books are Standalones and can be read separately but do have intertwining characters.

Forbidden romance? Check.
Second chance romance? Check.
Bothers? Check.
T. K. Leigh destroying my heart? Double check.

I adored this book. T.K. Leigh has become a favorite author of mine recently. I've flown through her books. I was excited to see what was in store for me with Dangerous Games. Izzy was engaged to Jesse York years ago. There was just something always holding her back. It isn't until she runs into Asher York, rock star and brother of Jesse, that old feelings ignite and start to change things in her life. She has to deal with all her emotions and figure out what's best for the situation at hand. There's so much depth to this story and it kept me reading late into the night, so I could see what was going to happen next. I loved Izzy. She's caring and emphatic. There are so many emotions packed into this book, including heartbreak, secrets being kept, love, and much more. This is more than a fluffy romance read, it has a great story line and real emotions. Highly recommended!

When T.K started this journey a while ago with Dating Games I had no idea where this road was leading. Yet, I am so glad to have taken this journey with her and what a ride it has been!

Two men, two brothers, and one girl. Now that is the way to start off a story! It garners your attention. It piques your curiosity. It intrigues you. Now, this is all before the first word has been read. Before you have opened the pages to the talent of T.K. Leigh.

Asher . . . a musician, but not necessarily brooding. Actually, he’s a nice guy. He loves his family, especially his brother.
Izzy . . . a strong woman, but truly torn. She’s not sure which way is up and so she is constantly.
in turmoil.

Once again T.K. has given a phenomenal read with all the feels. The love, the passion, the humor, the angst, the confusion are all emotions that make a story, a book phenomenal. I can’t wait for the next book from T.K.

Finally DNF-ed at 48%. Not my cup of tea. This was a total snoozefest. I skimmed a lot.
It's a forbidden romance between the heroine and her ex fiancée's big brother.
The author went for angst but I didn't like the writing style or the pacing. The heroine was a debby downer.

Once again TK Leigh writes a book that I couldn't put down. Hooked from page 1. I have been waiting for Izzy and Asher’s story to see what happens, and let me say I wasn't let down. I am a HUGE fan of forbidden romance, and one with 2 brothers in love with the same woman, I was in HEAVEN!!

This book had it all angst, drama, hot sex, and forbidden love. I absolutely LOVED every moment of Dangerous Games. I know every time I read a TK Leigh book I'll be left swooning and in love with the characters and enchanted with the storyline.

Dangerous Games is a 5 star read you won't be able to put down.

This is the third book in this series, but it can be read as a standalone. This story is about a unique relationship between Isabella and Asher. This is an emotional, second chance love story that will take you through years of missed opportunities and secrets. This book will have you hooked from the first page. This was the perfect first book to read for the year. Five Star!!!

I loved each book in this series and what I love the most is that each book can be enjoyed as a standalone.
This story though... was a tsunami of emotions. Once upon a time Izzy was engaged to Asher’s brother Jessie. Then one day, she went to Vegas and there was a blackout. They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas but this one night in Vegas during a blackout, left an unforgettable mark on Lizzy and ex fiancé’s brother!!
This story was easy to read and follow. The sexual tension the push and pull and the banter made this a delicious treat!
But Izzy has conflicts and she can’t shake them off!
I enjoyed the backstory of Izzy and Jessie and Izzy and Asher. The push and pull the drama and the angst.
Oh my goodness!!
What to do what to do!!
There was more to this read than a love triangle and that made their story more intriguing and enjoyable.
However, there were elements of the story that just didn’t seem to fit the overall story which made it somewhat confusing.
But Izzy’s triangulated situation is a must!

This was an amazing read with so much more than just romance to it. Don’t get me wrong I love a good romance but at times you kind of feel like you have read that before... not this one. T.k. Always has a way to bring some difficult subject matter into light in a way that speaks to you. So how about the romance part? Hawt! I fell in love with Asher from the moment I met him, and am glad to have more of him here. Izzy is very relatable and I love the moments we find between them. Make sure you don’t throw your kindle/ phone while reading (cause it may make you feel that way to.) because you will definitely want to see how this story ends. I was definitely kept on my toes w this one and as soon as I thought I knew where it was going - BOOM... nope lol - great one to add to your TBR list, but an even better one to cross off of it. :)

There are certain books that just stick with you. This is one of those books for me.

The main characters Asher and Izzy made an appearance in Wicked Games and you also get more background of their story in Mind Games. I devoured both books wanting to know more about their backstory. It's clear they have an intense connection and they will always find their way to each other despite the obstacles.

True love always has a habit of coming back. It's like a boomerang....You can run as far from it as possible, but it will find you.

My heart filled with joy reading their journey back to each other and ached with each setback and hestiation. In some ways, this book also has a habit of coming back and reminding me of how much I love it even when I read other books.

I am certain I will reread this in the future. If you're looking for an angsty second chance read that tugs at your heart strings and fills your heart in the best way, this is the book.

#Spoilers Got an ARC but my opinion is my own
Okay so I wasn’t too sure about whether to put a five or four stars rating and I ended up going with a 4 stars rating because I really like second chance stories and this one was a different version of one!
One of the reasons it wasn’t a 5 star for me was that with all this push and pull game you expect fireworks when they finally do it and I admit this book was for me a bit of a let down sex wise because I remember the other books of T.K to be much hotter and with more complete sex scenes but maybe it was done on purpose. Also I personally think Jessie “forgave” them a bit too quickly although I do get why he did so.
The story is quite a slow burn so get ready to get quite frustrated on more than one occasion lol
However you get a nice surprise that i didn’t expect with a suspense touch that was quite interesting!
As for Asher gosh we all need someone to love us the way he does Izzie!! I don’t know about you but I’m highly overdue for a Asher in my life lol

I definitely recommend this book because it was a great read and I will definitely read royal games and other books that T.K writes!

Ok, so I have to be very honest here and say I really didn't think that Asher was going to be out Linc in my heart but Asher surpassed him and that was a difficult thing because I LOVED Linc!!! I am a huge fan of this author. I have been on pins and needles waiting on Izzy and Asher's story and boy was I not disappointed. I was completely hooked from page one and just could not get enough. This story just made my heart smile, break, cry, and jump for joy. A fantastic read from page one all the way to the very end.

A great forbidden/second chance romance. This is book 3 in the Dating Games series and the second that I have read and I loved it. Asher and Izzy were so good together. The chemistry between them was so good. I am typically not a fan of love triangles but this was written so good. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

3 1/2 Stars

While I liked the storyline and the forbidden triangle formed between Jessie, Izzy, and Asher, I found the pacing slow and lagging. It took a LONG time of self sacrificing waffling on the part of Izzy to make up her mind as she had a really hard time dealing with her conflicting feelings for Asher. Part of it was guilt in falling for the brother of her fiancé, but most of it was her running away and blowing hot and cold when it came to Asher.
There was a bit of drama dealing with her illegal baby mill backstory which had a satisfying retribution like ending, but it didn't seem to fit in with the storyline.
Just when Izzy had decided to go all in with Asher, Jessie decided to be a cruel bonehead, and proving this trait ran in the family, Asher responded like a bigger bonehead.
By the time this long drawn out but sweetish romance ended, I was exhausted and waiting for another episode for Izzy or Asher to find something to break up over.

This book blew me away! I'm such a sucker for a rockstar romance, and even though this isn't your typical one, I think that's part of what makes it so special.

Our main characters, Asher and Izzie have a unique relationship: even though they have always had such an intense and immediate connection, they have always been just friends, especially since Izzie was once engaged to Ahser's younger brother, Jessie. When Izzie walked away from her engagement because she realized she was in love with Asher, she decided to walk away from the entire family and salvage her heart the best she could.. until fate steps in and reunites them in the least expected place.

After a one night stand with damaging consequences, another year goes by until Jessie of all people comes and makes her an offer she can't refuse: inspire Asher to write music again, and she will get a portion of all his royalties plus a generous amount up front.. but Asher can never know about their deal.

It doesn't take long for Asher to become inspired again with Izzie near him again, and once they are finally honest with their feelings for one another, they find a happiness that most people look for their entire lives. But what will happen when they are forced back into the real world? Will her insecurities and his devotion to his brother tear them apart?

Oh gosh, this book tore me apart. You can just feel all the love, the attraction, the angst, the pain of not wanting to hurt someone they both love but are tired of fighting what they always have wanted..it was just so perfect.

There's also a side story that is so, so important, that brought me to tears. It is heartbreaking, but definitely needs to be read. This entire book needs to be read.. It's seriously one of my favorite books!

I wish we had an expert from Asher's POV, but that in no way takes away from the beauty of this book.

While it is part of an interconnected series, it can be read as a standalone -- but the other books are just as amazing!

If you're looking for an emotional read that will stay with you long after you finish, this is the book for you!

**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions!**

I have been privileged to read each of T.K.'s books in this Games series and I have to say that Dangerous Games is by far the most angst filled! Izzy and Asher and Jessie put readers through the wringer with a triangle of sorts that evokes tons of emotions from start to finish.

Izzy was engaged to Jessie eight years ago before their relationship came to an end and she cut all ties with him, his brother Asher, and his whole family. When she happens to run into Asher in Vegas one weekend, all kinds of feelings she had for him come boiling to the surface and they take full advantage of a city wide blackout. But when the lights come on the next day and reality comes streaming back in, Izzy heads back to New York determined to keep this little indiscretion a secret. After all, it's forbidden right? She should not have slept with her ex-fiancé's brother.

Now a year later, she's thrust back into Asher's world when her ex-fiancé Jessie reaches out to her for help. Can she remain neutral and act like nothing happened? Asher York is a force to be reckoned with and the pull is strong, but what would happen if they acted on their feelings? What would that do to his relationship with his brother? Is it worth it?

Like I said, this story is full of angst! The push and pull that Izzy does with Asher is strong! Just when I thought they were going to find a way and move forward, something else would pop up to derail them, and I almost couldn't take it!! I wanted to shake them both so many times and tell them, "just give in!" LOL But it's easy to say that when I'm not the one in that position with my heart on the line.

T.K. does an amazing job of infusing so much emotion into each scene. I was glued to the pages, dying for these two to figure everything out. I was even hoping that Jessie would find his happily ever after before the book finished. And I could not get enough of the scenes with Grams. That woman is a hoot and a half! Loved seeing the other girls in this series and catch up with them. The tidbits we get of Nora sets the stage for her book next and I can't wait to see what's in store for her.

There's some mystery/suspense in this story that was super fascinating to me. Mystery/thrillers are my newest obsession so I ate up those parts of the story. T.K. is a master at writing suspense as is evidenced with her Beautiful Mess Series and her Deception duet, so the secondary storyline involving Izzy's past was an added treat to this story for me.

Readers of the Games series are in for a treat with this one, especially if you love angst!

Before I start to read anything by T.K. Leigh I know to be prepared. Be prepared to experience something out of the norm for a romance book. I know she is going to take me somewhere I may never had been. She is going to educate me on some things going on that maybe I had no clue about, or very little knowledge of. I know that she is going to twist me. Her story is going to shake me to my core and have me deep in my feelings. With every page that I turn I must be prepared to be shocked, surprised, invigorated, motivated, reborn, etc. You get the idea I am sure.

With Dangerous Games I can say, she made that journey one hell of a ride. Not just up and down motions, but round and round, leaving me dizzy at times, and lost at others. Lost in a way that made me want to turn that next page, because only through continuing the story could I finally get the peace I needed. See, this is a story that enveloped me. It made me sit up and realize that life is not all black and white. With this story I found that even the greys were shaded differently. And through it all, I was so amazed that I could be on this ride.

Going into the details of our characters would not be fair to you. Feeling what Izzy endures, recognizing her fears, watching her grow as a woman in life and in love will have your heart warm and your nerves wired. Watching Asher come to grips with his emotions and fight for the one thing more important to him than his own life, is gripping. As we hear people say “the battle is real.”

The push and pull of their battle is nothing compared with the completeness of this story. This is not a simple book. Parts of it will touch your spirit, others will knock you on your butt. We really learn that family is not blood only and as I read I was fighting right along side the members to find closure and resolve for our main characters.

T.K. Leigh, I remember your excitement with this story. And I must say I was not prepared for what I read. But OMG, did I gobble it up and hang on for the long ride. And what a ride it was. Little did I know that that excitement would be so infectious. This story is one of my best to have ever read and there are not enough stars to rate it. Bravo!!

This was the first book I read by T.K. Leigh and I'm impressed. This story gave me all the feels. A beautiful second chance romance, full of angst and overflowing emotions.

"You'll always be my favorite almost."

Asher is a talented musician that's been in love for many years with Izzy, his muse and his brother's ex-fiance. They haven't seen each other in a year but when he gets a second chance to tell her how he feels, Asher puts his heart on the table for Izzy. They have so much chemistry, they are just right for each other but their relationship is like a rollercoaster. She doesn't want to jeopardize Asher's relationship with his brother by admitting her true feelings for him (that Asher stole her heart many years ago) and seeing her battle her indecision was really heartbreaking.

"I never wanted anything my brother had. Until you."

The story is told from the heroines POV. All the characters and situations presented were relatable and I liked how the plot evolved, even though there were some parts where I couldn't agree with Izzy's actions and decisions. I also liked the subplot that developed towards the end, it added more spice to the story.

Overall it was a lovely and well-written book. I thoroughly enjoyed it and i would recommend it to those who love slow burn, second chance romances, with an added twist. Looking forward to reading other books from Ms. Leigh!

Where to start? I fell in love with Acher when the ladies headed to Vegas for the bachelorette party and Izzy and Chole got themselves stranded. Which ended up with them both doing something they both loved then later regretted. Since then Chole had gotten her happy ever after so I was on pins and needles to see how Izzy and Acher's story would evolved briefly knowing what they both up against.

It's always hard when one finds themselves in a long relationship deep down knowing they love the person they are with but are not in love with them. The problem always seems to escalate when it involves the man's best friend but imagine if it's his own brother. His older brother the one he feels gets everything he always wants and goes after. Well, folks that is where our dear Izzy had found herself 10 years ago prior to meeting Asher again in Vegas. Her only way to let both go was to walk away. Telling herself it was because Jesse, Asher's brother had cheated.

Now a year after said incident has happened out of the blue her ex Jesse calls her wanted to meet for dinner cause Acher's career is in trouble and she maybe the only that can help. Since, they had always been such good friends back when her and Jesse dated.

Izzy knows she needs to say no but circumstances cause her to go against her better judgment and before long neither her or Archer can fight what between them.

When truths come out it's not just her heart that will be destroyed. Not only losing her heart she maybe in jeopardy of losing alot more when the truth comes out about her biological parents.

Between fighting for Archer and coming to terms with an awful truth, it's Archers lyrics that help Izzy through some of her darker days.

Must read!! I absolutely love Archer!!

Well... T.K. Leigh must’ve done her job extremely well, because my heart HURTS after reading this angsty, forbidden romance. I fell for this couple while reading their prequel novella, Mind Games (not essential reading, but it will DEFINITELY influence your opinion of the story). The chemistry jumps off the page and the connection Asher and Izzy share is undeniable. If you’re a fan of forbidden romance and enduring chest pains from the sheer weight of the angst, this is the book for you.

The story follows Izzy and Asher one year after their ill-fated one night stand in Vegas (as depicted in Mind Games). They got to know each other years ago... while Izzy was dating, then engaged, to Asher’s brother. That relationship didn’t work out because Asher always held a piece of Izzy’s heart, but she was unwilling to acknowledge that and destroy the brothers’ relationship with each other. Instead, she’s chosen to ignore her feelings and move on with her life. That becomes impossible when Asher’s brother calls up Izzy with a request that she spend some time helping Asher rediscover his muse, not knowing the full extent of what he’s asking.

Did I absolutely love every part of this book? No. At times the push/pull between Asher and Izzy got to me, but I was always completely invested in seeing them find their HEA. There is also one minor subplot towards the end that had me scratching my head, but the rest of the book was really fantastic. It held my attention from start to finish and kept those pages turning. I think it bears mentioning that your reading experience will be completely different if you read the prequel - in ways that are both good and bad. Good because that’s where you really feel the chemistry between Asher and Izzy, as well as understand the foundation of the relationship better. Bad because there’s a little overlap between the two, and because Dangerous Games starts off feeling like a love triangle, which is uncomfortable when you know just what Izzy is hiding from both men. Whether or not you want to read it is really your choice; the story will make sense either way. Ultimately, this is not a flawless read but the quality of the writing and the depth of emotion easily pushes this into 5-star territory.

From the moment she saw him singing in a local club she was drawn to him, his looks, his sultry voice, and his hypnotizing eyes made him the best kind of drug. The kind she couldn't get enough of, she wanted to know him, and be the woman his songs were about. But before she could find the courage to approach him she met another man by chance, one that made her smile and her heart skip a beat.

Not realizing that this new man would bring her closer to the soulful singer than she had ever been before. They happened to be brothers, and it was evident they were close, and she suddenly felt like the woman in the middle. Her relationship with Jesse was starting to fall apart, but at the same time she was harboring serious feelings for his brother Asher. Her instincts told her she could be so happy with Asher, but leaving Jesse for his brother could cause a whole host of issues for their family and she loved them too much to bring that trouble into their lives. So she walked away...

But now, after a few years have passed, Asher has made a reappearance in her life... and this time he doesn't plan on letting her get away, he wants his muse!

Nothing makes for a more intriguing story than forbidden love, and Dangerous Games is perfect example of that, one page in and I was completely hooked. Izzy knew giving into her feelings for Asher could only reek havoc on their lives. But her head and her heart were waging a war against one another and eventually her heart won out. I thoroughly enjoyed watching her and Asher try to keep their relationship under wraps, at times I felt like I had been let in on someone's dirty little secret... and it was exciting and intense. This was wonderful story to kick off a new year of reading with, it's pages held a story that was captivating, steamy, mildly suspenseful, and good for the heart! Highly recommend!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.

Dangerous games ARC

Definitely worth 5 ⭐️

“I’ve been searching my entire life for something when it’s been right in front of me all along.”

If you know me personally you know that I LOVE LOVE LOVE Musicians, I listen to any kind of music, I love looking at every hot musician out there (especially Asher) and when I saw Dangerous games was about a Musician I had to sign up for the arc. To actually get it was a dream🥺 and then I got even more blessed that I received signed swap by the queen herself was just wow. I was in shock for a couple hours let me tell you that. So now we are done talking about my own moment let start about how beautiful this story is.

We started 2020 with a BANG T.K Leigh made my heart swoon over this book so I’m going to keep this as short as possible. After the first page I was already craving for more I don’t know what it was but this book pulled me into it, but I just wanted more more more. I actually didn’t expected That to happen but wow! Their chemistry, their story, their “boomerang” this story is worth to read it will make your heart burst open with love.

Asher York is the ultimate guy every girl wants he’s kind, weet, HOT, beautiful and makes your heart burst with the way he talks. I really enjoyed this book a lot its different from all the Alpha men I read daily I can tell you he’s definitely in my top 10 fav book boyfriends of 2020 and we just started!
Izzy is one hell of a strong girl with the plot twist going on, which I didn’t expected and the way she handled it LOVE HER! I love how she wants that “shy girl” she made mistakes learned from it and grew into this amazing woman.

I can’t wait for Nora’s story keep it up T.K. Leigh I need a lot more from you!
