As their relationship grows in the dream world, Aditya once again confronts the thought which he has been avoiding. Killing his wife.

Cover Page: The cover jas a screen kind of like a phone or tablet and on it is a small black dot. It doesn’t give out much but when you read the story only then you understand what the cover is all about. So nice work.
Review: So my first reaction after reading the book was ” Socha Tha Kya, Kya Ho Gaya”. When you actually read the Blurb you expect many things to happen. Nice story, it will be gripping. And many more. The story is about Aditya and his wife Naina. Aditya has a dream about killing his wife but why does he want to that? Will it happen in real life is supposed to be the story.
The positive in the book at some point in the book, i found it to be flowing, as in no ups and downs just moving and that’s it.
The negative in the book, was the dragging start. Both me and my mom had started reading, and we felt we couldn’t comprehend what is happening in the first few pages. She stopped reading altogether but I thought let’s see as I had read the author’s first book and I had enjoyed it(even gave 5 stars) but the book, soon turned out to be a disappointment. Another thing was like 50% of the book is covered in sex( felt like I was reading an erotic book), in the end, it was too much for me. Though I agree I had read books that have a whole lot of sex in it, for me it lacked the story behind it. I was like “Ab Kuch Hoga” but it never happened. And from the start, I had predicted its ending.. So again no suspense there. The story I believe also shifted from a husband trying to kill her wife to an app where people become someone they want to in their dreams and in the end back to story.

Shadows in the darkness by Manoj Shital Bhavnani is a story about a guy called Aditya who has recurring dreams of killing his wife. To help Aditya from these dreams, his friends Rajiv and Sameer introduced him to an app called Dream share. It allows users to relive their memories and share those memories with others while sleeping.
.
The story of this book is quite intriguing. Also, the concept of dreamshare app is fascinating. All the characters in the book are the well developed and back story of each character is explained in a well-elaborated manner. The book is filled with memories of the past, complicated relationships, sex, violence, love and dreams. The twist played at the end of the book is mind-blowing.
.
Things I didn't like about this book are over-elaboration of some scenes and extra emphasis given on the side characters. Also, the cover of the book could have been more attractive.
.
I really enjoyed reading this book. Twists and turns involved are quite interesting. The story is a perfect fit for a movie or a web series.

Where do I begin, Rajiv wondered?
🦄🦄🦄
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to revisit your dreams?
Or perhaps fulfill a desire so dark you couldn't do it in real life?
That's what the DreamShare app is for, and this is where Aditya finds himself after dreaming about killing his wife, Naina.
His friends are the ones that introduce him to DreamShare to help with his unexplainable nightmares.
But once he starts using the app he finds himself going down a rabbit hole with no chance of returning. 🦄🦄🦄
Shadows in the Darkness by Manoj Shital Bhavnani is an exhilarating novel filled with romance, violence, thrills, betrayal, lust and suspense.
This book had me hooked from the very beginning with it's interesting blurb.
This book gave me some serious Black Mirror vibes
The concept of being able to live in a virtual world while sleeping (and everything going wrong) is something I could see in a Bmack Mirror episode.
When it comes to the storyline, not only does it follow the effects of this virtual world on Aditya's life, but on the lives of his friends Rajiv and Sameer as well.
I was impressed with the way the mens individual stories weaved together to MAKE SENSE.
The twist at the end had me SHOOK!
The writing skills of the author is good but in some places it feels exaggerated, like he is trying to hard to sound different instead of letting the story flow naturally. 🦄🦄🦄
Highly recommended book.
Rated 95/100.

#Insight- The book gives the vibe of being a murder mystery at the beginning. Going ahead it goes inside the life of a man trying to correct his life and then finally ends as a murder mystery.
Reading the book was an easy and fast task in the start as the story was fast and interesting, but around the middle the author starts going too slow into too many details and backstory, which sometimes made me want to skip paragraphs.
#Review- The book talks about how the characters are dealing their personal life and marriage personality using technology. They get new experiences and mostly relive the old ones, through that tech. Our main character is searching for answers about his dreams.
In different chapters we get to know about how the different characters are living about their interconnected lives, their backstory, and their desires.
With each page turned a previous mystery unfolds, and the last page turns the complete story over.
#Strength- The story is intriguing, and keeps us stuck on the questions it has posed. Keeps us hooked over the next secret it’s going to reveal. Although the author goes into too fine detail, he never loses the essence of the mystery it started with.
#Target readers- People who love good mysteries and are ready to give up some good amount of time for it. People who like to give time to the fine details.
#Rating- 3.8

The story apparently starts with Rajeev version where he gets a call to summon to the Police Station as his best friend Aditya has allegedly murdered his wife. Then it takes us to the life of Aditya. Aditya was getting this dream of killing his wife from a long time. To get over from this his friends suggest him to use DreamShare App. It is an app where users relive and share their memories. And at first it was a blessing. To go to an alternate reality in which he can access his memories and join others in theirs. In the app he comes across Aesha. Then one thing leads to another and he finds to get the very thought once again from which he was running away, to kill his wife.
My Take: The plot is very unique, indeed. But i feel the lack of continuity was prevailing through out the book. The story was very confusing at first. I only get into the book after 100 pages. So if you are patient enough or usually take time to explore your book then it can be a good pick for you. I started to like the book after almost 100 pages. The writing style gets clear after that.
Also there are sex scenes snd mature contents in the book. If you are completely okay with that then go for it and give it a try.
