Y’all KNOW I love a strong heroine. YOU KNOW IT. Lucky for me, Hazel is indeed a strong heroine. A woman standing behind women. A voice for the Earth. Someone so very in her own skin.
And then a swoonworthy hero that wants nothing more than to protect his woman? I mean honestly. This couldn’t have hit my checklist any better if it tried.

4.5 stars! Another great edition to this series.

This is book seven in the “Hero Society” series and can be read as a stand alone.

This series has intrigued me since the first book. There is always a love story, kick ass heroines, the amazing family of heroes, a little suspense and some good ole action!!

This heroine is one of my favorites. Hazel had a rough childhood. To make matters worse when she needed her best friend the most he disappeared. I know that had to be traumatizing but you see her growth. You only see her climb ahead. She grows stronger and stronger. I love this lady.

Maddox was lost and the only thing he knew to do was to run or risk hurting the one person who meant everything to him. He is such a great representation of a boyfriend. Even in all his alphaness he only wants to stand beside his queen. Rarely do you see a man in a book fight to just be her rock. I love it.

The story was beautiful and hopeful. I always have loved this authors writing skills and she has a way with developing characters you love. Such a great read!!

**I received this book as an ARC and in return gave an honest review**

I’ve been a big fan of the Hero Society from the beginning and I’m always excited when a new book comes out. Spring is well worth the anticipation! Hazel is the heroine we don’t get often enough in romance books. She’s a proud, strong black woman, an advocate for women and the earth, an inspiration for her generation. It’s awesome to see her man step up and stand BESIDE her, not in front of her. Maddox is swoon worthy in his own right- so proud of his girl and loving her for who she is. I love their chemistry and connection. This book is so good!
If you’ve enjoyed the Hero Society books, you’ll love this one too. If you are new to the series, you can jump right in! This is a series of standalones. They’ve all been amazing!

Hero Society Spring was an incredible read that was poignant and powerful. I couldn't stop reading it once I started and it was incredibly addictive!

I adored Hazel. She was strong, powerful, independent and I loved how full her heart was, especially for Maddox. She always fought for what was right, even if life wasn't always easy.

Maddox was the whole package. Just like Hazel, he fought for what was right, and he was absolutely dreamy. He and Hazel were perfect for one another.

This book touches on some sensitive issues but was done incredibly well. Sensitively too.

And the action. Loved it! There was never a boring moment in this book and had me on the edge of my seat.

Overall, I loved this book. The few books in the series I have read, I have come to love and this one was no exception. I fell for Hazel and Maddox instantly and I adored their chemistry and fight. My favourite of this author's. 100%!

Highly recommended!

I loved Hazel and Maddox. Hazel is a true free form hippie musician. She has a unique and beautiful hero talent. (That made me giggle throughout the book) She was a child in the foster care system where she met her childhood best friend and protector Maddie. When he leaves suddenly she is left with an enormous grief that she fills with music and activism.
Years later they reunite and have a lot to heal from.
Maddox is a protective alpha (for his woman) and the pair has a story that stays with you.
I loved how the book touched on culturally relevant issues like the me too and Black Lives Matter. It was good at weaving those through the story to create a big beautiful picture.
Hazel and Maddox stayed with me after I read the book and I look forward to seeing their parts in future Hero Society Novels.

There’s one thing you always guarantee with a jessica Florence book and that she can take you into a world that is unforgettable and this is no different for spring.

I must admit the covers attract me so much to this book that are amazing but i love how every story is so different in this series.

I loved both Maddox and hazel they are two lost souls who have loved each other forever and when Maddox leaves her behind i just wasn’t sure that Hazel would let him in again.

I love the Hero Society they are friends and family that have each others back regardless and it makes for such a great series.

I loved how Hazel was a singer as i live music and had me connecting to this book i also loved how Jessica Florence’s writing was very sensitively certain topics and think she wrote this brilliantly.

Another amazing story loved loved loved it.

This is a great installment in an absolutely fabulous series. Hazel and Maddox’s story is not a nice, easy one, but it is so much fun! I love a strong, fierce heroine and that is exactly what we are given with Hazel! I could not put this one down and lost a little bit of sleep finishing!

I really enjoyed Spring. It was a quick and easy read that had me coming back for more. I thought the heroine was the kind of heroine we need more of. She was fierce and someone to look up to. I just thought this book was missing an extra something that I can't quite put my finger on...

I wasn't ready for this book. I mean I was. But I also wasn't. This might be my favorite in this series. Jessica pored herself into this book and you can feel it on the pages.

This book had a kick ass heroine who you were here for. She was the embodiment of everything you want to be. She was a force to be recked with and you fall for her fro the very start.

Throw in a swoon hero that literally you melt for and this book was the newest hero installment.

Hazel is a voice and Maddox is here for it. I loved their dynamic form the start and as they come together it is perfection. Throw in a little worldly strife and ti was the makings for a perfect read. Another 5 start for the Hero Society.

🌟🌟🌟🌟💫

Spring is the third of 3 stand alone books that take place after the end of the Night, main series for the Hero Society. Again, each book revolves around a new couple, but there is no continuous storyline like the main series.

This book has a great theme of growth and new beginnings. Hazel & Maddox grew up on the foster program together after meeting while living on the streets. But when Maddox leaves Hazel on her 16th birthday, she is left without her best friend and protector. Years latter these two come together again when Maddox becomes Hazel’s bodyguard & has to protect her from something much worse.

I love all the themes in this book, from second chance romance, to a strong & successful self-made black woman, to the focus on being true to yourself, to ensuring we protect the world we have.

I loved this stand alone book in the Hero Society series, such a great series & definitely one to check out.

Much like the remainder of the series, I couldn't put this beauty down! Florence has created a world that sucks you in and never let's you go! I instantly loved Hazel as the free spirit she is and the struggles she overcame throughout her life! She was such a fiercely strong independent woman and I love that she didn't lose that side of herself even after Maddox came back into her life unexpectedly!

I highly recommend this entire series to anyone that loves action, romance, and superheros saving the world! Seriously cannot get enough of this world and the amazing Hero Society Florence created!
