“There is no limit at which I’ll stop, there is no culprit whom I’ll forgive. The sky is turning red. I am getting powerful. I am your friend if you are mine. Accept me, for I have arrived.”

The above statement tells all. Get your tissues ready to have one of the most mysterious, thrilling, suspenseful and nerve wrecking experiences of reading a book. This book is a jaw-droppingly brilliant crime-suspense-mystery-thriller.

No surprise, the mystery and thrills inside this book will have your neck in it's hand when you will be busy connecting the dots till the very last flip. You will be left aghast and agape with its entirety one at a time.

Alankrit finds the Tablets engraved on them a script, he had never seen in his 20-year career as a Senior Archaeologist for ASI. He left for Himalayas to find out the mystery behind the same. And here, his family members are dead?

Partho died in mysterious condition in 1857 revolt. And in present, Prabhakaran a sacrificial goat at the hands of a half-burnt, half-skeleton face, with a pair of red eyes glaring mysterious man.

Then S.I. Mukul's finding a disturbing dead body. A mysterious figure Jagdish comes into picture and takes the drama to a next level to finally end up with the same fate. Delhi C.M and India's Home Minister is also associated with the ongoing badlem. All the more, An autorickshaw driver is dead.

Agastya, a criminal psychology student loses his sister and carries a death diary and the rest about him is no less brainstorming. Mysterious figures, disturbing murders, sensational personalities involved, esoteric events, and a whole knots of dramas in a single thread. Dare if you untangle even one. For you will have to delve deep inside the saga.

To give you some rest, who is this 'The Elder' now in the story which ends up with an epilogue, better say, a cliffhanger for the author to come up with the next one and a danger for you readers to be prepared for the same.

Characters sketching, plot, timelines, storytelling with a whole lot of mysteries and layers inside and dialogues are not bearable for heartpatients. The author has invariably given birth to this new Avatara of thriller by providing the normal characters, repeated mysterious murder events, and the same police investigation a fresh approach.

As the author has outdone himself in weaving this not-so-simple saga, he hardly leaves any dots untamed yet having expectations on higher side, a/q to me the story could be bit more synchronised, connection among multiple events was not very strong, there's a suspense overload which normal readers won't dare to digest.

And also when you are writing a thriller like this one, ideally the focus should be equally devoted towards giving the same an emotional angle and the author has invariably given his best to balance both of these things which makes this work humongous and remarkable. Highly recommended for all the book lovers out there.

This book was on Prime read and I happened to pick it. The book is fine for a read, more of a Science Fiction over a very atrocious fact of today, Rapes.
The book is around a serial killer, whom the media names as Kalki, who targets the culprits who are involved in sex, rapes and molestation of innocent women, children, some of whom are either killed or dead and others do not come out of the trauma and also do not come out for justice due to many otherwise, social obligations. All these culprits just walk away and live to continue the same atrocity over and again.
Sharang, a special officer, expert undercover is given this case and starts investigating into the murders, Agatsya, a student of criminal phycology science helps him, with the aid of his uncle so he could get some insight into the real crime. His help seems to be very advantages to the cops and they start getting into the roots of the killer.
On other side, Alankrit, an archaeologist, is found missing, who is looking for some lead on a ancient script and secret. Sidharth who is Alankrit’s assistant is indulged into the missing case. An in a surprising twist of events ends up to connect with Sharang in the missing case and more than that.
How are two connected, who is the serial killer and why is he named Kalki in spite of being a killer himself. The story reveals these details.
My take on the book is, the story is good enough but I did not find it overly gripping to be honest. I still would read the next series and yes, I agree and appreciate that the injustice towards the women should somehow be treated more harshly and a strong fear is to be ingested into anyone who thinks to commit such acts and crimes. So, on that aspect I liked the book. This being my personal view and I would not take this into consideration when I rate the book.

"Take this body as a present for justice. More will follow, for I have arrived."

A body was discovered in Dhaula Kuan forest on the night of 31st December. It was the case of a brutal murder. The body was cut open from forehead to the waist. The internal organs were chopped out. SI Mukul was incharge of this case but the case didn't get any attention as the whole city was waiting for the JG verdict. JG, also known as 'The Demon of Delhi' is a ruthless businessman. Those who raised their voice against him disappeared. Amidst this, another murder happened in Vasant Kunj with the same Modus operandi.
SCP Amrit had a lot on his table, the JG verdict and now there is a serial killer on the loose.
Meanwhile in the valleys of Chaukhamba, Uttarakhand, a senior archaeologist, Alankrit, had come across two stone tablets which was written in a very different script. This scripts were also the reason Alankrit was having panic attacks and hallucinations. It seems like his top close to uncover the mystery but before any of that happens he goes missing.
On the other hand the serial killer has killed 7 people till now. As the story progresses, DCP Sharang, who is leading the case suspects did the disappearance of the senior archaeologist, the case of JG and serial killer are somehow connected. The general public thinks this serial killer is Kalki, bringing justice to the people. Is this serial killer really an avatar of God or a psychopath serial killer. Usually i take time to adjust to the plot of the book but this one had me hooked since the first page. To know the truth behind the disappearance of Alankrit, the mystery of the serial killer and how these three stories are linked to each other you've to Read the story.

The mystery still unsolved, and we only got a glimpse of historical events, but a very good start for a series. Now author has to deal with morality angle as well. Let's see where it goes.
