Stones of Amaria #3

Necromancer Revealed

Rate this book
After falling into mage’s oblivion, Dawn wakes to a nightmare.

All of Amaria’s magic is out of balance from Ryze’s return, and at Necromancer Academy, unruly magic could mean death.

That’s one constant Dawn is prepared for, though. What she isn’t prepared for is how far Ryze’s minions will go to protect The Staff of Sullivan. It’s hidden in the academy’s catacombs, and it must be important. But how?

With the skin-walker thwarting her every step, Dawn must find the staff and stop the skin-walker once and for all.

Unless it stops her first.

I absolutely love this series. I’ve been hooked from the beginning. This is book 3 of the series and it’s very well written with well developed characters. A very hard book to put down. I recommend reading the series. (I received this book as an arc and am leaving a voluntary honest review)

Waking up from the Mage's Oblivion, Dawn observes a different world - her parents are at her side at the Necromancer Academy, her hair is back to its natural blonde color, Ramsey is showing more care than before... and magic has gone haywire, darkness is spreading, and Ryze is on a quest. They need to figure out the identity of the skinwalker and find the Staff of Sullivan to save Ramsey's family, but obviously, Ryze and his minions have different plans.
In its darkness, the story contains much beauty and positive emotions in the midst of all the evil - love, hope, care. Deep friendship and even deeper romantic feelings. Strong determination to set the world right and fight for it. Obstacles are waiting at every turn, bringing a lot of tension and action into the story. Yet as the secrets slowly are unraveling, the direction is becoming clearer, as much as the steps necessary to finish the task to stop Ryze and deactivate the last stone. However, there are no guarantees what will be lost in the end and how many could die..

Dawn awakens after 3 months in mage's oblivion. Although weak, she is determined to find a way to kill Ryze, and help Ramsey find the staff of Sullivan. Together with her friends, Ramsey, Echo and Jon, they comb the grounds looking for what they need. Danger awaits at every turn. Both the dead and the reliving roam about making their progress deadly. Ryze is hiding somewhere just biding his time. Meanwhile, the skinwalker contines to play a deadly game of cat and mouse with the group. Dawn is determined to kill Ryze, but is she strong enough to face him?

The storyline is well-written, fast-paced and unique; filled with magic and mayhem, danger, intrigue, mystery and adventure. The characters are well-developed and engaging. I can't wait to see what book 4 brings!

Run for your Life

Necromancer Revealed is a rollercoaster ride going in all directions in the pitch black of midnight. You never know what to expect, which direction you'll be thrown in, and you're speeding so fast, you can't prepare for what you think is coming.

Dawn is finally seeing people unmasked. The skinwalker is revealed, and what a shocker that was. As Ryze takes control, more horrifying truths come to light.

The last book of the series has a lot of loose ends to tie up, I'm hoping we readers won't be left with too much unfinished business. This book was a compelling story and deserves its 5-star rating.

Dawn is finally awake after being 3 months in the mages oblivion and she's woke to bad news about Seph and so many lives lost.
Even though she's still weak she's determined to help Ramsey and kill Ryze.
They don't know who to trust with the skin walked around and a decision may put Ramsey in danger.
How far will she go to find who set up Ramsey, make them pay and to save someone she cares about?

Audiobook review: Another action packed paranormal story with a side of romantic chemistry. The team is united in their quest to identify the skin walker. Likable character and entertaining storyline. The book picks up where #2 left off. The narrator did a good job with providing unique voices for each character and appropriate tone inflections for each scene. I received a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

The third book in the series is just as much of a thrill ride as the first two, which you definitely need to read before this one. The story picks up three months after the cliffhanger at the end of book 2. Dawn is thrown into action very soon after the start of the story, and it’s none stop from there. There are a couple of surprising revelations at the end. Next please!!

Dawn awakes and finds her parents are there with her. Things have been difficult since Ryze came back, and Dawn plans to take him out. Echo, Jon and Ramsey promise to help Dawn as they have all suffered losses thanks to Ryze. I didn't see this ending coming, I was wrong about the skin-walker. Can't wait to see where this goes next!

Talk about a cliffhanger!!!!

This is getting so good!!! Sadly, we are nearing the end, but all the answers are a book away!! Strange things are happening. Trustworthy people are missing, and a few dead man's hands need to be dug up. Five are left, with one floating still holding the stone. New nightmares are the challenges the four must face to hopefully end this!

Necromancer Revealed. Book 3

Cliffhanger! The anxiety never ends. Neither does the death, the secrets nor the surprises and the unmasking of those secrets.

Necromancer Revealed is book three in the Stones of Amaria series and should be read after the other two books. Book three picks up where book two left us with the cliffhanger. The big bad guy is back and the Necromancer Academy is not the same between the loss of students in the battle and unpredictable magic brought on by Ryze's return. Dawn faces off against the skin walker again as she tries to help Ramsey (former nemesis, now former crush) find The Staff of Sullivan, the source of his family's magic. Dawn plays fast and hard, flirting with danger in her attempt to help Ramsey and destroy Ryze. Full of action and the hint at romance, the story flies by with amazing characters and world building for a story you cannot put down. With another traumatic cliffhanger, the author leaves the reader high and dry and heartbroken as the wait begins for the next in the series. My voluntary, unbiased review is based upon a review copy.
