I had heard of the kinky boot factory, how could I not, when I live in the village the actually factory was located. Having loved the film, and recently saw the musical thanks to YouTube, I was interested to find there was also the book. There is a lot of humour in the story, along with other highs and some lows too. I found it really interesting hearing Steve’s story in his own words. The real life story is different from the film, but still an amazing story. If like me, you enjoyed the film or musical, this book is a must read 😉

After seeing the show and falling in love with this amazing musical, I discovered this book written by the man the show was based on. This book is a fascinating read and gives more information into how it all happened. It gives you the true story and the aftermath and journey. Steve wrote this book really well and it took me only a few days to read as I couldn't stop and wanted to know more. Definitely worth getting your hands on!
