As a Christian I am certainly aware of what is happening now and what is going to happen in the future but we all need a gentle reminder to stay alert! Well written and Biblically sound.
Most excellent and well-researched book, yet easy to read and understand! I am a fairly well-read Revelation and prophecy reader, and yet this book had a few things that were made more clear. For example, I still get a bit confused on the timing and sequence of end-times wars, which Gillette helped me clear up. I do like how the author gave some varying viewpoints regarding the pre/mid/post rapture, but yet gave clear and concise reasons/scripture references to why it has to be one of them. Metaphors for certain parables in the Bible are also clearly explained (vineyard owner, talents, etc). I would highly recommend this book as a gift for someone you are witnessing to who is a skeptic, and needs the scriptural references, along with a clear explanation of end times, and the consequences of a delay in commitment. Wonderful wrap-up in the last chapter, calling on the reader to make their own choice. Most scriptural books have a call to accept Jesus as your savior, but I like the method of presentation in this conclusion better than many I've read. The only thing I wish it had was a table of contents, although I made my own as I took notes. Maybe that was intentional, making the reader flow through the sequence naturally, which I totally understand too. All in all, super read - highly recommend! One of the better end-times books I've read, with clarity of explanations and easy readability, yet has plenty of meat!
This book is for anyone who wants to know how it all ends. It is for Christians and non-Christians. I am a Christian who reads lots of books like this and this book explains all the various points of view that different people have and then he explains his view and gives evidence for it. It is written like a teacher writes - bullet points of important info with simple yet accurate descriptions. Accuracy Brevity and Clarity.
This book is an excellent review and easy to read explanation of Bible prophecy and scripture. If you're familiar with the Bible or not this book is the one to read for any questions and clearly explains when taken as written.
This book is excellent. I highly recommend reading it if you're studying the end times and the book of revelation, this book really will help you understand It all better.
I have tried to read Revelations but could never understand it. I so enjoyed someone explaining all the symbolism. I highly recommend reading. I so enjoyed reading it.
I was disappointed at how little the author understood the ‘myths’ he was trying to dispel. While thoroughly cited, this work over-simplifies many of the passages quoted ignoring any other possible interpretations. The confidence and absolutes are a red flag for me, but I hope others can find this book educational and encouraging. For topics this deep I recommend finding an author with a broader perspective and possibly formal training on the topic.
In reading this book, I have so much to think about as well as pray over. The messages are clearly written, the Bible and its quotes are respected, and one can really learn about the End Times, the Rapture, and what to expect when Jesus comes in the flesh again. May God's people be protected from non-believers and their ridicule, and the Lord bless those who follow Him!
This Is a great book about end time prophecy. Easy to read and understand, I would highly recommend it to someone searching and wanting to understand the end times biblically. I would say that this is more for an intermediate overview and not an in depth one, but certainly enjoyable!
A book about eschatology yet not a seminary read but clear and succinct for the curious individual. It was a slow start into the book but shortly picked up. The formatting on the kindle version was distracting, as the format was only flush left and margins were not set for both sides. Overall, the book covers end-times prophecy in a manner that is easy to read and is accurate despite some repetitive parts. Well worth the read, as it is informative. Short kindle read of 140 pages. I prefer to listen to Britt's online channel.
