Sniper: Exiled Guardians MC 1
An Alpha Older Man, Younger Curvy Woman MC Lite Romance
WARNING: This book does talk about previous physical abuse from husband. Also, the heroine starts a relationship while still technically married to her abuser.
Sniper
I once served with her older brother and when she ran into some trouble,
she came looking for me.
She shows up at the gate to the club begging for my help.
Of course, I’m going to help her - I would never turn away a woman in trouble.
But with her, it's more.
I’m going to claim her. Make her mine… and never let her go.

Avery
I’ve made some mistakes… some that could cost me my life.
So I find Sniper… the one man that my brother trusted more than anyone.
He agrees to help me.
But at what cost?
He’s my savior… my warrior.
But this bad boy is not giving me my freedom… he has other plans.

Dear Reader,
I love to read MC romances. I’ve just always enjoyed reading about the tightness of the MC brothers and the way they love their women. I love it so much that I have always wanted to write one. However, being a short story romance author, it seemed impossible to build an in-depth storyline like most MC romance series, but I wanted to give it a try. Therefore, I present to you my version of an MC romance. I’m borrowing the term MC Lite from Frankie Love. It is heavy on the motorcycle club sense of family, it has lots of alpha men and the curvy women that love them. However, it is a little lite on the drama and most violence is handled off-page. I sincerely hope you like it.
XX,
Hope

This is a Steamy, Sweet, Short Story Romance. No Cliffhangers. This is the first story in the Exiled Guardians MC Series. If you love short romances with insta love, hot love scenes, and a sweet story, then this one is for you.

Needed more action

When Sniper went after Avery's abusive husband it would have been nice to "hear" what was done to him. Not just we took care of him. I found that lacking for a Biker book.

As far as Sniper and Avery goes it was full blown ahead Insta-love Romance.

Avery has a problem her husband is a drug trafficker and he is abusive and wont let her go making sure no one gives her a divorce. So she runs away and remembers her brother told her if she needed any help his old army brother can help her. Jeremy aka Sniper is the prez and when a brother brings him a unconscious Avery he is already protective of her, once she wakes she explains to him her problem he wont let her go until her husband is gone.

They both grow close and he takes care of her ex husband nut they have another tiny problem some of his brothers got jumped ;)

Super short and we got some other brothers. I guess Brick and his girl are next? I hope we dont see these giys being manwhores..

No ow drama slight om drama (abusive hubsand), drama, sexy times, no virgins

This was a short quick read that I liked and wanted more of. Avery is on the run from her abusive husband she goes to the MC club house looking for Jeremy a man that served with her older brother. When he sees one of his prospects was roughing her up and he hears her story he knows that he is willing to do anything to help her. This was the first book in a new series too me. I liked this book and the characters in it. This was also my first time reading this author. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Sniper

Love love LOVED it!! Oh my goodness Hope Ford has done it again. She took her story telling ability and wove a Motorcycle Club book. Instalove and everything that goes along with it. Including a happily ever after! I can't wait to read Brick and Madison's story!

This one does have some triggers. There is talk of previous abuse from her husband. She still has the bruises. Also the heroine is technically still married when she starts the relationship with Sniper. HOWEVER once the H and the h meet neither one of them is with anyone else and unlike most MC books the H was not previously a man whore and had been celibate for a while. No om/ow drama

I have read a lot of this authors books and they are definitely hit or miss. This one is a definite miss.

There was a lot of potential for a great storyline, considering the premise, but it all got glossed over. Nothing explained. No details.

On top of that, I didn’t believe their Insta-love one bit.

But also, a big kicker was how awful the motorcycle club was. In the story, I guess their goal it’s to protect women that need help but at the same time, they absolutely objectify and dehumanize the women who hang in their club. Just gross. It made me hate them all.

Way too short to get a true likening or disliking for the characters. First time they met, he claimed her and they share a bed (no sex) then the next day project widowmaker is in effect. 2 days later Sniper is back and they are in bed (sex) with the L words being thrown around. Honestly I don’t know how I feel about this, since it’s a to the point quickie.

Avery fled her abusive husband hoping she would find Jeremy "Sniper", who her brother spoke of as a man of integrity and would help her if she ever needed it. Sniper sees Avery and knows she is a game changer for him but hearing her story has Sniper wanting to clear up loose ends. Can Avery take another chance on love or will her past stand in the way?

Another good one from this author. Avery hits it off with Sniper right away and I was curious about his characters since reading about him in the other books. Entertaining.

Hope Ford + MC Series = WOW

Of course Hope Ford does it again with a fantastic new series. This book has everything I love about MC books plus instalove, no OW/OM drama (OM drama handled off book), no cheating, HEA, Epilogue and great lead into the next book.

Warning: There is talk of abuse from a husband, but Hope Ford handles if really well.

Wonderful!! This was a nice quick, short read. I absolutely love it.

Sniper/Jeremy meet Avery when she escapes her abusive husband. Her brother Allen passed away a year ago but before that he told her if she needed help to finds Jeremy Johnson. When she arrives they have no idea who she is talking about. Brick come to find Avery and takes her immediate to Sniper. Sniper is the pres. of the motorcycle club, he’s the man in charge. Avery passes out on the way and Sniper doesn’t know who she is. When she wakes she tells him it was a mistake her being there and tries to leave. He tells her to tell him what going on and who put the bruises on her. When she tells him it’s her husband and she been trying to escape him, he tells her she is safe with him. He takes her to get something to eat and drink and claims her as his, so no one is allowed to touch her. Sniper takes her back to his bed and talk as they fall asleep. The next day he leaves to find Avery’s ex-husband. Avery tries to keep herself busy for the two day Sniper is gone. When he comes back she is working behind the bar. He tells her to come with him and she starts to realize just how powerful this man is. She gives him a lap dace and they make out and fall asleep. He tells her the next day she doesn’t have to worry about her husband anymore he was taken care of and she is free. She assumes he doesn’t want her anymore so she begins to pack. He tells her he will always want her he just wanted her to know her husband wouldn’t be a problem anymore.

First and last book of Ms. Fords. (DNF at about 80%) This story was rushed and totally not believable. I like quick reads but this was just too far-fetched. A woman who doesn't know this man except through her dead brother, shows up on his doorstep because hubby is abusive and she has no where to go except him. He takes one look at her and decides she's his then goes and does something (DNF last 10% of book to find out) to remove abusive husband from equation. She immediately jumps to being willing to bed him when he returns, going so far as to give him a lap dance.

From what little we learned of her before she's young and she'd been only with hubby. She'd been beaten regularly while town aided and abetted. Sorry but trust would be a major issue unless the woman is simply too stupid for words. Couldn't finish the love scene. Choppy and just not something I enjoyed reading at all. Didn't get to know the other characters at all. Just not the type of writer for me, I guess. Oh and don't get me started on the time issue. Supposedly brother died last year but she's been married for two years to said abusive husband. Why didn't brother take care of the issue after the beatings began. Just no....

Lacking in everything.
This was lust, not love.
Avery literally traded one controlling relationship for another just minus the physical abuse.
Why does it always have to be "I love you" after a day.. cant it just be "I can't wait to see where this goes with you"
Needed more detail everywhere.. what did they do to her husband, who is apparently a huge drug dealer? Why didn't her brother help her before he got sick? Or even during if she was beaten so bad all the time with hospital visits, surely the brother knew? I'm confused on that timeline.. all she said multiple times was that she married at 18 and the 1st year was fine, and then it went bad.. how many years was she married? Why did he turn and start hating her? Did he come looking for her? He apparently had men working for him as they would watch her when he couldn't, so did he try and track her down? The brother died a year ago, so.... what did he die of? Does she have parents?
Way too short, this felt like a fan fic, and the author couldn't be bothered just wrote a one shot. It's disappointing as it could have been a great biker mc series.

Sniper is book one in the ‘’exiled guardians MC’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable.
Avery was told by her late brother that if she is ever in danger, search out his old friend. When Avery runs from a dangerous situation, it is her brother’s friend she runs to. Sniper knows Avery is the woman for him as soon as he see’s her. Learning of her situation, he is determined to protect her.
The chemistry between Sniper and Avery was clear to see and I loved them as a couple. I loved how protective Sniper was of Avery.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series. I need Brick’s story now!

Sniper by Hope Ford and narrated by Cade Cohen and Simone Cohen is the first in the Exiled Guardian series. While the book is short, nothing is left out. Avery, the FMC, comes looking for her brother's friend, who happens to be the President of the Exiled Guardians Motorcycle Club. She is running from an abusive husband and Sniper is the only one who can help her.
The narrators have done a great job of character voices and demeanor, each one being unique.
Would I listen to this book again? Yes
Would I recommend this book to others? Yes
I can't wait to hear the other stories available and I highly recommend them for everyone who like MC type books.

I like this MC lite.

I'm so happy that the author took a chance and ventured into the MC world. While it is not as gritty as a lot of MC books, there are a lot of familiar themes. The Exiled Guardians are a rough bunch but live by an honorable code that protects women. That's great news for Avery because she really needs their help. Sniper, the MC President, was a friend of her brothers and she was told to go to him if she was ever in trouble. Boy, was she in trouble and Sniper doesn't let her down. I can't wait for Brick and Madison's book.

Loved It !! Too Short.

So I read just about anything MC(I will admit to staying away from the hardcore as I've gotten older )so I was excited to see this new series. I've read a few Hope Ford books before and liked them so I was open to giving this a try, well I think she nailed it. For a quick read she flushed out the characters really well. I liked how they seem like a family just trying to fit in.The 4 stars is because I'd like a big more "Action" . Other than that great new series.

Super Short story, instalove, same day sex, next day living together, etc... Watered down MC plot line. Much too rushed to be fulfilling. Bite sized romance read.

And her goodreads list of books are not well tended to. A lot of the books I browsed are not linked via series and don't have the original publication date listed so they can't be sorted by pub date. Usually I spend a bit of time fixing these types of things but there are 60 books and I don't have the time for that many.

I loved the the first two books I read by Hope Ford - "Sleighing Mr. Right" and "New Year, New Eve" - so when I found this Mc Series (which is something that I never read), I thought I should give it a try, and I bought the whole series.

"Sniper" is short, sweet and sexy - the perfect choice to add a little bit of steamy goodness and badassery to your day.

I loved the introduction to the other characters and can't wait to read more.

What happens when your forever comes looking for you?
Avery is scarred but will that stop her from taking the leap of faith? Sniper never expected to be settled but he knew the moment he looked at Avery that his life has changed.
It would have been even more amazing if there was more of the book and if we could get to know what Sniper did to Cameron.
If you are a fan of MC riders this is a must read.😁

Sniper/Jeremy and Avery

Avery escaped from her ex and ran to Jeremy, a friend of her deceased brother, Allen. The ex, Cameron had been using her as his punching bag for years. Sniper is the President of the club and he took matters into his own hands. A few of his club brothers stopped off at another bar and were attacked, but the waitress, Madison waved the day with her baseball bat. Happy reading.

Sniper

I'm enjoying every book I've read by this author. I can't wait to see who jumped the guys at the other bad and what happens between Brick and Madison. Sniper wasn't going to let Avery's husband get away with beating her so badly. He claimed st as his before he even knew she was his old army buddy's sister.

Great quick read

Don't worry, this isn't the typical biker club book. These are the good guys, that take care of business. They are still a club, still have church and sweet butts, but it's not bad. Avery needs help so she runs to her brothers friend for help. She finds so much more. Very quick read.

Great premise, too insta-love

I like insta love stories, but even insta loves need to be fleshed out enough to tell a complete story. This one had the potential to be a great MC light story, but it was too truncated and abrupt. The main characters and storyline did not reach their full potential.
