business, Piper thinks it might finally be time to focus on herself and have some fun. So when Joe stumbles into her coffee shop, Lights Out Coffee, Piper doesn’t hesitate to take their casual flirting to the next level. But before their relationship can get off the ground, her life gets spun in a completely different direction.

Her father calls. His third wife has finally left him and he needs help looking after his two youngest daughters, Piper’s half sisters. Although definitely not what she had planned for her life, Piper knows this is what she must do. And so she settles into her new life with the two girls.

Little does she know, Joe has been raising his nephew for the past two years. So when she runs across him at their kid’s school, she is extremely surprised. Soon a true friendship grows as they reconnect and join forces during the school year. The more time they spend together, the deeper their initial attraction becomes and they soon find themselves trying to see if they can in fact have it all: parenthood and romance.

Enjoyable Read

Found this author after reading a previous book called Reyes Gold. This book is the spin off from that story following the love story of Piper and Joe. Both coming from similar backgrounds but totally different approaches when it comes to love. I will say at times I was not feeling the Joe character I understand he had issues but some of the things he did would of been no return but Piper ain't me and she was able to weather the storm. Overall enjoyable read
