Found this author after reading a previous book called Reyes Gold. This book is the spin off from that story following the love story of Piper and Joe. Both coming from similar backgrounds but totally different approaches when it comes to love. I will say at times I was not feeling the Joe character I understand he had issues but some of the things he did would of been no return but Piper ain't me and she was able to weather the storm. Overall enjoyable read
