Angela Addams is an author of many naughty things. She believes that the written word is an amazing tool for crafting the most erotic of scenarios and likes telling stories about normal people getting down and dirty and falling in love. Enthralled by the paranormal at an early age, Angela also spends a lot of her time thinking up new story ideas that involve supernatural creatures in everyday situations.

She is an avid tattoo collector, a total book hoarder, and loves anything covered in chocolate…except for bugs.

She lives in Ontario, Canada in an old, creaky house, with her husband, children and four moody cats.

This was a new-to-me author, and I really enjoyed this story!

Maggie Chandler is doing her best, but lately it just isn't quite good enough. Especially not for her mother, and 2 much older sisters, who are utterly concerned with appearances. Maggie just graduated college with a degree in marketing and she's determined to get a job in her field. But, in the mean time, she's working at the mall info desk, and at a coffee shop, and she's interviewing constantly. Her mother and her sisters, both lawyers, are on her constantly to just take her LSATs and go to law school. And also continuously bugging her about her dating life. But, she has no interest in the law, nor is she interested in taking on even more student loan debt. When she conjures up a fake boyfriend to get her mom off her back, she has no idea what she'll do when she has to produce him for a huge family reunion. Enter her months-long coffee shop crush.

Liam Doyle is a bit of a mess. He was just released from prison 4 months earlier, after doing 4 years time that should have been done by his older brother, Shawn. But Liam never gave Shawn up, and now he's regretting it, since while he's been away, Shawn has dragged their 2 younger brothers, Cormac and Ronan, into his life of crime as well. Liam gets coffee every morning at the same place, since he's got a crush on the girl who works there, but he knows his life, and his family, are a hot mess, and that Maggie deserves better. But, when she asks him for a favor, and he agrees to help her out, he can't believe his bad luck, when he discovers her dad is the cop who put him away, and who is gunning for the rest of his family.

Maggie and Liam had mega chemistry, but they were both trying to play it cool for a while. It was just supposed to be a weekend trip, no strings, no fuss. Liam knows all about Maggie and her family, but she doesn't have any idea who he really is and this is a constant balancing act for Liam. Of course Maggie's dad recognizes Liam right away and decides against telling her either, as he doesn't want to do anything to upset her and ruin the weekend her mother and grandmother have spent so long planning. So, there's a bit of lying going on, which is not my favorite, but I understand why everyone did what they did.

Maggie's mom and sisters were mostly giant sticks in the mud, and I wasn't a fan of either of them. Her dad and grandma both tried hard to be in her corner, but were often stuck between a rock and a hard place. I loved how Liam always stood up for her, and made it clear he had her back. She had never really had anyone be on her side unconditionally, and she couldn't believe how special and cared for it made her feel.

Liam really tried hard to take care of people: His dad, his younger brothers, and Maggie especially. He just wanted the best for everyone, but he wasn't always sure how to get it. I really liked how much he loved his family, and everything he tried to do to keep them together. He had his own code of ethics, and he followed it as best he could. He was worried about Maggie's dad's reaction to him, but I loved their interactions, and how Detective Chandler really knew and understood him. And how he still respected him, even after the way they initially met.

I wish there had been a little more about Liam's job in this story. I was intrigued by his brokering of deals, and I would've liked to see some of that in more detail. I loved how Maggie was determined to work in her field, and how much effort she put in to make that happen. I did feel Maggie's mom and sisters got off a little easy on how they treated her. They weren't very nice. They constantly criticized her, and they didn't take her job field seriously. They all thought they knew better, and treated her like a child. She rationalized that they loved her and wanted the best for her, which, ok maybe. But that doesn't excuse their treatment of her or how once she was actually having success, with a boyfriend, and a job, they were suddenly all proud and excited. I didn't like them much at all.

This was a good story, and I enjoyed Liam and Maggie very much. Liam's brother Shawn was a piece of work, and I enjoyed how that whole story went down too, though I think this could've benefited from a bit of a suspense plot, and had that part more fleshed out. Overall though, I enjoyed this story, and I would definitely read more from this author in the future.

Keep Me Wanting follows a riveting romance between strangers that couldn’t be more different. He is an ex-con that would do anything to protect his brothers even if it meant doing more time in the slammer. She comes from a family of lawyers and detectives--big wigs if you will--and the last person she should be bringing to her family reunion is the cute ex-con she serves coffee to every morning. The two come together and many interesting, sexy, and heartbreaking things happen throughout the entire long weekend.

Most romance novels are just that, packed with sex scenes that will make your face turn red, and sweat bead on your forehead. The good romances though, are the ones that can accomplish a well put together story along side all the sex. Addams did a fantastic job of that here. Not only did I enjoy the steamy love scenes between our two main characters, I also fell in love with their personalities and the back story that brought them together as well.

Thinking about two people whose only words to each other are over the counter at a coffee shop a few times a week, we wonder how well they are going to hit it off during a long weekend, spent with each other but also one's entire family. Addams makes this look so easy, the characters come together so easily that it is almost like they have known eachother forever. They click beautifully making their story together desirable.

Books that can make the reader wonder where it is going can be bittersweet. In the beginning, this kind of novel leads readers to believe the inevitable is going to happen. The main characters spend a long weekend together, end up madly in love and bam they are happily ever after. But there is so much extra baggage on both characters, he’s an ex-con, and her father is the detective that put him away. Their story has MANY unforeseen twists and turns that make putting this book down for any amount of time impossible.

I happen to like my romances sweet and sexy. Something that has a little bit of meat story wise, but that keeps moving. This book hits all the marks, and was such a fun story to dive into!

Maggie is so relatable; cute and full of ambition, she is wanting to forge her own path. Unfortunately, she is coming into a job field that is over-saturated. So to make ends meet, she works part-time at a coffee shop. Where she drools over Mr. Tall-Dark-And-Sexy. Liam is a mess--a loyal, slightly bad-boy, mess--he got caught up in his scum-bag brother's scheme, and just got out of a prison sentence four months ago. Spending time in prison really opened up Liam's eyes to wanting a new life. And his eyes also caught Maggie in their sights as well.

These two have chemistry right away. But it's more than just sexual chemistry, there is a layer of caring too. Both want for the other to be loved and cherished. But Liam's past is becoming part of Maggie's future, and that future is becoming dangerous. A whirlwind romance, full of sex and love, bring these two to places they didn't expect to go. They both have to decide if what they may have is stronger than the problems trying to pull them apart.

,i>Keeping Me Wanting by Angle Addams is a perfect sultry romance to devour on Valentine's Day!

keep me wanting isn't something i'd say i regret reading. it's not terrible. it's just somewhat preposterous from start to finish. liam, our hero, is some billionaire ex-con who happens to be propositioned by coffee shop girl, maggie, who happens to be the daughter of the detective that sent him to prison and is out to get his brother, who is a really bad dude, but whom liam refused to snitch on years earlier.

anyway, maggie needs a date for a family reunion and kind of made up a boyfriend who looks just like liam, and liam's brother has his eyes on her family because he's doing something ultra shady and so liam decides that he'll play the part of fake boyfriend to protect maggie and her family and maybe figure out a way to get maggie's dad the info he needs to arrest his brother.

does any of this seem believable or reasonable? nope. does anyone react like a normal human in this story? nope. i just, listen, this isn't the worst thing i've ever read. but just because it's not the worst, doesn't mean i like it any better.

This was my first experience reading this author's work and honestly, I was a bit hesitant when I found out she usually writes paranormal which isn't my favorite genre, but I'm so glad I took a chance because this book rocks! I would classify it as romantic suspense because there is a level of mystery and intrigue surrounding Liam and his brothers. That said, there's also a ton of laughter in this book too. Coffee-girl Maggie needs a fake boyfriend for a weekend reunion with her very complicated family and relatives. Who better than former conman Liam? The chemistry between these two is crazy and add in the sparks that fly among these very funny relatives and you've got a winning read. Very well-developed characters and for being a rather long read, the plot flowed very well--I never wanted to put it down. I enjoyed everything about this book because it encompassed a little bit of everything I love. I will definitely be reading more from this author in the future! This is my first book by Angela Addams but definitely won’t be my last. This is really an opposites attract book in terms of Maggie and Liam’s backgrounds. Liam has many layers and is all in where Maggie is concerned, although he is afraid that his less than stellar background will both haunt him and hurt her. Maggie is both surprised and delighted that this gorgeous, intense guy seems as interested in her as she has been on him.
A great cast of secondary characters really showed how Maggie and Liam’s lives were both affected by their families, in good and bad ways. Addams writing style and pacing made the story easy to read and a page turner. And the open door love scenes were very steamy but so we’ll written, so keep that in mind when choosing to read this book! They fit into the relationship that Maggie and Liam were developing.
I loved it. It’ll be a book a recommend to more than a few of my friends.

My thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the ARC. All opinions are given freely and honestly

Liam and Maggie were fabulous together! Sure, she’s put him in an awkward position with her request (one that he’s TOTALLY fine with, mind you), and sure, he’s got a lot to hide, but they manage to make it work. Add in a crazy family reunion, complete with a crazy grandma, hilarious games and competitions, and a jealous sister who gets the karmic pain in the rear (and everywhere else) that she deserves, and this story is all but impossible to put down.

Liam and Maggie both prove just how far they’re willing to go for family, loyalty, and love, even if they think they’ll have to hurt themselves in the process. Luckily for them, though, that some unlikely allies help to ease the pain that they both endure in making things right. I’d be interested to see where the author takes the Doyle brothers next.

Maggie-coffee shop girl who asks the guy she drools after to be her fake boyfriend just for five minutes, to help deal with her mother.

Liam- He can't stop himself from helping her out. He finds Maggie attractive and the more time he spends with her keeps him wanting more.

He should stay away, but he can't.

Hearing her mother criticize her changes his mind and he signs up to help her survive the family reunion. So the main parts of this book take place at the resort where the reunion is being held. There are so many funny scenes with all the relatives you meet. And of course sexy times.

This was my first time reading Angela Addams and I really enjoyed her writing. She also writes paranormal and I'm gonna go check all those books out after.

Keep Me Wanting was so much more than I had anticipated! A wonderful story of unexpected second chances, familial craziness and the strength of two amazing people in the face of adversity. Liam and Maggie worked so beautifully together and provided each other with an emotional foundation to build a lasting relationship. But this story isn’t all seriousness and angst; there are moments of laugh out loud hilarity, wacky relations and a dose or two of karma that will leave you crying and in pain from laughter. There is just so much to love about this story, that you really should read it yourself to truly appreciate the author’s depth of creativity. I only hope this is the first of a new series that will bring us more of the intriguing Doyle brothers.

This book was a lot more fun that I expected it to be Yes it was a angst driven romance but the scenes with the various relatives at the family reunion was enough to have you laughing out loud.

Maggie's mother is continually on her case and in an effort to shut her up Maggie asks the hot guy in the coffee shop she works in to pretend to be her boyfriend Liam has been lusting after Maggie ever since he saw her but he knows she is too innocent for this ex jailbird but he will help her out. The only thing is it gets more complicated when her father is the detective that arrested him and who is after Liam's family enters the picture Can these two fight against all the prejudices and have a future together and what secrets is Liam keeping.

Maggie and Liam's story has an unusual start. Maggie asks him for help when her mom shows up expecting to meet a boyfriend she made up. Things move quickly from there and he ends up at her family reunion posing as her boyfriend.

I liked that there were some twists and information revealed between characters at times I didn't expect it to be. The put downs and constant pushiness from Maggie's mom and sisters and Liam's thoughts of not being good enough were a bit repetitive, though. I also found the story dragged a bit in the middle. Overall, not a bad read, though.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an ARC for an honest review.

This was a good read! I'm a sucker for a fake relationship story, and this one didn't disappoint! The writing flowed well from start to finish, and Liam and Maggie had great chemistry! I loved that Liam was always there to take up for Maggie with her family. Maggie's family situation was rough, and I wish she would have stood up to her sisters. She pretty much just let them say whatever they wanted. Her mom was pretty horrible to her, and the excuse that she wanted her to have a good life was a lame one. It eventually turns out okay, and I was happy to see Liam and Maggie work their way to a HEA.

A totally hot read, complete with broody hero and innocent looking lady. Liam is back and trying to get his life in order. Maggie is trying to constantly please her mother and live up to her expectations. These two start out on what is supposed to be a fake date but instead end up burning up the sheets. There is a fun group of family me,bets that make up this cast of characters. Sacrifices have to be made to earn true love and trust.

Oh how I loved the sizzle between Maggie and Liam! Both with a secret crush, you know the kind. When you think to yourself if they could only see me, they would love me. I loved how they were feeling that way. I hated the self doubt Liam had and how he didn't feel he deserved a happy ending. But he and Maggie made quite the pair. Their chemistry was off the charts; they were fun together, supportive, adventurous, and down right sexy. Throw in a little sibling hostility and threats from one side to sibling ribbing on the other and you have an interesting dynamic. I did enjoy the karma for Maggie's sister - perfect timing and manner. The ending was pure perfection and very sweet. I would love to read more for Liam's brothers.
