I'm excited for Izzy's story. I will admit I'm not a huge fan of hers but the Hero in her story seems like he is going to be perfect for me. :-)

Read as part of Owned: An Anthology - copy provided by the authors for review.
I was going to review this book at a later date once it had been released but I just couldn't wait. This was BRILLIANT, and SEXY, and totally ROCKED!!!! I love Izzy and James so much that I just can't get enough of them.
This book tells their story, from Izzy's pre-Thanksgiving escapades with Flash though to City and Suzy's wedding where she first laid eyes on James Caldo.
Let me tell you.... you think the scene with Flash and Izzy is hot but its tepid compared to when Izzy and James get together, that is volcanic.
I know I love James, but hey, I dare you to read this and not feel an intense obsession with the man afterwards.
Izzy is still the best female character I've ever read about. She's strong, determined, feisty and takes no BS from her alpha brothers. She is highly entertaining and her one liners are to die for. Has James met his match? Definitely!!!!

Hm.
Resisting is a novella that takes place in the "Men Of Inked" world. While it can be read as a standalone, I did feel like I was missing some information that could have helped me understand the characters a tad better.
We meet FMC Izzy and MC James... and this is their "story." There is a good amount of spice in the end of the book, but we don't get to it until about the midway point. Izzy also doesn't meet James until about halfway through or so. In the beginning of the book, she is having "adult time" with Flash and trying to make sense of their dynamic and his feelings for her.
Overall, it's a short, easy to read book which is why I was able to finish it. I think I should have read the other books first though.

Totally sexy, this novella left me wanting more!

Since book one (Throttle Me), I'm in love with this series and with the characters.

They were explosive together, their chemistry was off the charts and kept me on edge.
I can't wait to read Resist Me (a full novel about them and their love story) and to finally meet Thomas, the MIA Gallo brother!

Great start. This was a sneak peak at Izzy and James sizzling relationship. This short novella was about one third back story, one third foreplay and one third very hot sex. Looking forward to read how the H will break her in....literally😜😳.

I listened to the audiobook of Resisting and found it truly entertaining. It was quick, hot and the narration was perfect. Chelle Bliss is a new to me author and I most definitely will be picking up more of her books in any format (paperback, ebook or audiobook).
This novella has me intrigued with the rest of the Men of Inked series. Resisting by Chelle Bliss is a MUST read/listen and will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ELITE!!!

I have been in love to say, at the very least with Isabella Gallo since she first opened her smart little mouth in Throttle Me. She is high-strung. Feisty. Cheeky. An Italian vixen. But at the same time, when you are being swept away inside of her mind you get those brief glimpses of her that shows you MORE.
Not any flashy *insert cheeky smile* guy will do. Izzy needs someone that she can go head to head with and meet tic for tact. Someone who brings out the best in her, seeing through her facade. From the moment she meets James Caldo or Jimmy as she likes to refer to him, sparks not only fly...they freaking explode all over the pages, and doesn't let up until the final page of this introductory novella. Heck, I think I even got hit in the eye a time or two by them. I knew Jimmy was perfect for her and here's why.
The kiss...
"I had never kissed someone and felt weak-kneed, but with her, it was like my first kiss. World ending. Life altering. Completely fucked up."
The kiss, plus fingers, plus s-e-x...
"That’s the thing about sex. Touching someone for the first time is so intense that you feel like you’ll never be the same. I felt that way with her in my arms and my fingers inside her. I knew I’d be changed forever. Izzy was my equal."
The morning after...
"I knew I’d have her again. She couldn’t escape the inevitable. The connection we felt was undeniable. I’d let her go… for now. I knew in the end she’d be mine. A chase would ensue and I’d get exactly what I wanted— Izzy Gallo."
I'm sold, completely ALL IN for these two. Now, I am off to drown myself in their full length novel, Resist Me.

This novella recaps a little before City & Suzy's wedding & covers at the reception when Izzy & James meet. Holy jeez!! This book is short but it's def not sweet! It's HOT HOT HOT!!! The chemistry between the 2 is unreal! When they touch it's electric!
It's starts off with a few of the same scenes we read already. Then it gets to the wedding & we see why Izzy & James are meant to be! Izzy's pouty mouth is off the charts & James' bossiness with Izzy is hilarious! I would laugh, swoon, fan myself from the hotness, laugh some more & ogle plenty! I know we will see a lot of James & Izzy in Uncover Me & I can't wait!!

HOLY MOTHER OF BOOK LOVERS!!
This was so FREAKIN HOT! My Nook almost caught on fire. Lol. James and Izzy are unbelievable. If you don't feel something then you must be numb. This series is a must read. The two take awhile to figure things out but when they do HOLY CRAP they're sizzling hot! James is abso-freakin-lutely SAF and fit perfectly with the Gallo family. I highly recommend this series to everyone!

The perfect start to Izzy and James's story. Strong headed Izzy is about to meet her match - can she resist him or will she succumb to his charms and chemistry?
This is hot, provocative and perfect. Chelle is a dynamo at the little snippets into the lives of the Gallos, Keeping it fresh, fun and freaking fantastic.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU READ RESIST ME! They are in the wrong order on GR.
Book was super hot. James is definitely a smokin' guy. I got more insight into Izzy, although her attitude and lack of respect for City and Suzy's wishes bothers me. Of course I think James is going to work some of that attitude out of her in the next book.

Holy hotness, Batman!! This story was smoking hot, the chemistry was off the charts, and I can't wait to read the continuation of James and Izzy's story in Resist Me! As I have a feeling it's going to be sooooo good and I really can't wait!! Although feel like I should kick back and light a cigarette before diving into it!! :-)

This novella is free via links in the e-books of this series and is a must read! The first meeting of James and Izzy’s during Joey & Suzy’s wedding was off the charts hot. I loved every second of it. My kindle was about to catch fire, that’s how hot these two were. But it is Izzy after all, and we get to see the stubborn Gallo in all her glory.

I think I misunderstood and thought this book came after Resist Me, but it's more like a long prologue. There was a lot of rehashing and scenes we've already seen. But once we got to new material it was excellent.

I love this series, I can't get enough. James and Izzy is so hot and sexy together I just wanted to read their story all over again (Resist Me). I am glad to read there night together when they meet and was not disappointed. Amazing story as well as an amazing series. Chelle is the best

what can I say about Chelle Bliss, only one word fits and it is genius pure genius. I love all the books in this series and she keeps me coming back for more. James is perfect for Lzzie and the way she rights about her characters makes me feel like I'm right there with all of them.
