After the bomb Kayson drops on him, Quentin is at a loss and has no idea where to pick up the pieces. With Kaelyn out of commission, it seems as if he has to wait for the answers that he so desperately wants. His life changes within the blink of an eye, landing him with the type of responsibility he never thought possible. Will he rise up to the challenge, or once again leave Kaelyn high and dry to figure things out on her own? Now that her secret is out, Kaelyn is left to deal with the aftermath of the situation she created with Kayson and Quentin. The time for the games has expired and she has to face the consequences of the decision she made years ago. The never-ending game of back and forth between the two men has come to an end and Kael finally has to make a decision. Can she get it together, or have her selfish ways finally caught up to her and resulted in her losing everything that she holds dear?
This series was so good. The storyline was absolutely amazing and the characters drew you in from the beginning. There were plenty of reasons to dislike the characters but by the end of book two it was impossible to not have love for most of them. Q has captured by heart and the growth he exhibited from book one up to now is the reason why. He started out as the CEO of F**k Boy Headquarters but his story and the why behind it all quickly made me change my mind about him. Kael had a lot of growing up to do and her Aha! moment finally came towards the end of book two. I mean it was late but she finally got it. I love contemporary love stories just as much as I love my hood love stories. Sid has made it clear that she has tackled both and she does a bomb job in portraying her characters stories. The literary world better stop sleeping on this diamond in the rough!!!!
This was the best finale I’ve read in a long time. I’m glad it wasn’t drawn out and everything went smoothly. Q is bae, Kaelyn made a shitty decision but she’s still my girl. Keira and Ash needs a series or book something, they would be perfect for each other. I don’t feel bad for Kayson at all because I felt he helped Kaelyn for the wrong reasons even though he was a great dad to Bailey. Sidni once again you did the damn thing. Can’t wait for the next series or standalone!!!!!!
The second part was just as good as the first. I loved how Kay ,Q and Kaelyn put feelings aside to ensure that Bailey remained comfortable in that uncomfortable situation. Kiera was a true rider for her cousin, I wonder if her and Asher could be match 🤔 . Sidni did her thang with this series ❣
I’m so happy to see that Q got the familial bond back that he was seeking. Kael and Bailey truly completes him. Kayson is still a stand up guy. I hope a spin off follows about Keira!
Yooooooo Sid why you play all day ? LORDDTTTTT lol
I'm glad that Kael and Q grew up. They both had to do some soul seeking and get their heads out their behinds. I over love Bailey and Anastasia Mosley.
Q MANNED ALL THE WAY UP!
Kayson... Ehh I'm on the fence about.
P.S. i decided not to give you too much with this review lol
The second part of the story was pretty good. I liked the way the couple came back together originally for their daughter, then the love resurfaced and then it was on. Their sweet baby added to the connection. Sidenote: His parents were no joke.... Both parent's had me so proud for the way both felt about their grandchild.... Love always prevails.
It was good. I like the fact that the author did not give Kaela a pass on withholding Bailey from Q. So many books have this same storyline and the authors just brush it aside like it’s no big deal. However, iIs a big deal and it hurts more than just the men. It hurts everyone. Sydni B did a good job of showing how everyone was affected by Kaela’s selfish decision.
Still Team Kayson. I'm here for Q too but.... KAELYN... my God... just couldn't get with her but maybe she'll grow into a better person. I'm glad everyone tried to right their wrongs in someway for the sake of what mattered most - Bails. An overall great ending to the story and I'd love to see if Ke and Ash can get a little something something going... WINK WINK.
I loved everything about this series I really can go for another one the characters are real the writing is excellent and it feels as if you stepped right inside the book amazing job thanks for sharing
Part 2 picked up where part 1 left off and I was not disappointed. I'm glad Kael owned up to her mistakes. It was good seeing Q grow up and do what he needed to do for his family. Shimmer needed her a** beat. Overall I enjoyed this series.
An awesome ending to an amazing story. I’m glad Kael and Q were able to fight through the muck and the bad decisions of their past. It takes growth and maturity to admit when you are wrong and own up to your mess, it takes even more to right those wrongs. Both Q and Kael did that. And it made for a great read!
I'm so happy they finally got it together. Now, Kael was wrong as heck but I understand her reasoning. She was controlled by hurt and unfortunately allowed it to make decisions for her. Jealousy has a way of rearing its ugly head, and people will go to the extremes because of it. Great read. I enjoyed every minute of it.
I loved this series. I love these types of stories. Q and Kaelynn was a great couple. She made me mad with the situation between she and Kayson. Great job Sidni B.
It wasn't easy but Q forgave Kael. I understand her reasoning but any way you put it she was wrong. I'm glad they were able to move forward. Great job.
