Required reading for current and future HOA members

Wish I would have read this book before I served on the two boards I was on. The one area I wished had been covered was keeping members up to date on meeting items and the financial standing of subdivision. Out of date meeting minutes and financial statements are of little use.

Quick, common-sense read. The author balances the perspective of the board, management, and owner. If you are about to buy a home or are having difficulty with your HOA, this book might be worth your time.
