With Troy in the clutches of his girlfriend's abusive ex, he knows she's more vulnerable than ever. What's happening to her while he's tied up? Who's protecting Sadie while he's locked in the back of a van somewhere? Every minute that ticks by, she becomes more vulnerable. Every hour that passes gives Luke another chance to finally get Sadie at his side. And the fearful fury of that reality fuels him forward.
All Troy knows is that he has to get back to her. All he knows is that Luke can't ever get to her. No matter what it costs him. No matter what it means. No matter what part of him he has to compromise to get to her.
Is risking his own life to save hers going to be enough?
Leaning Towards Trouble Series Book 1 - Trouble Book 2 - Discord Book 3 - Tenacity
Continuity errors (in the earlier books, Troy is severely allergic to seafood, but he suggests and goes to a seafood restaurant in the third novel); mixed up prosecution and defense; weak dialogue during intimate moments; wish washy MC; painfully juvenile.
Triggers: domestic violence, kidnapping, mental illness, violence This is the last of a trilogy that is one whole story. Yup, one of those that you have to read all three to get the story. The first two end with horrible cliff hangers. So, I don't recommend this unless you are willing to pay for all three books. Minus one star. The story is quite good. The main character is Sadie and she started to get on my nerves a bit with pushing people who cared about her away and then changing her mind and then pushing them away again and so on. Her BFF Uma was awesome. Main squeeze Troy was a little too good to be true, if you ask me. Paris was sweet, but over the top. Wren, I couldn't quite figure out. Luke was scary. The action was fast and the pace was pretty good. I really didn't need to go to the gym for classes with them so thoroughly. The sex is hot, steamy and frequent.
I skipped over almost everything and just sped read the book in about an hour and a half. Troy escaped way too fast and easily. There was just nothing. And again with the giggling and snickering. This Author needs a thesaurus or something cause i couldn’t take it anymore. New words, please!
Again, the story was good, but continuity wasn't. It's like they got someone totally different to write the book. Fish allergy in book one shouldn't disappear in book 3. Especially since it was a big part of that evening.
It is a good trilogy end book. Talk about the and of the story. Still talked about their love and their families and friends and jobs and about her ex boyfriend and the end of that with him.
Brilliant absolutely loved this series of books hooked from the start couldn't put it down well written and a great cast and storyline superb will read more from this author
-Too many inconsistencies. -The story was so dragged out that she just threw in a bunch sex to fill the pages. -I was very disappointed in the entire series. -I've like Lexy Timms' writing in the past but I would never recommend this series to anyone.
The story had me on my toes all the time. I really loved to see how Troys and Sadies story unraveled. Although there were some things that didn’t align with the other books which made me drop the score down, but over all a fun, fan and enjoyable red!
I absolutely loved reading this series. When I started reading the first book I was unsure what to think. But by the time I finished the third book, I was hooked.
