Fantastic anthology. A great way to find new authors, as all of the stories are sweet, fun, and short enough to finish in one sitting.

I came for Bree Livingston and stayed for the other authors - some of which I've signed up to newsletters and will be checking out their other stuff!!!

My favourite stories are a three way tie between "Wrapped in Love" by Tayla Alexandra, "Her Christmas Elf" by Remi Carrington and "Her Christmas Crush" by Bree Livingston.

Wrapped in Love starts off the anthology with a warm "fake fiance" tale with a genuinely lovely Billionaire, Mac, who just cant keep a girlfriend- but desperately wants to make his terminally I'll mother happy on what might be her last Christmas. Winter is a loveable clutz, and they just make a lively couple. My only complaint would be that I wanted to keep reading! Haha - will have to get some more of Tayla's books to scratch that itch.

Her Christmas Elf was everything I wanted and more. You could not find two nicer people in the world than Nick or Holly, and honestly this story just leaves you with the warm buzz like you're drinking a hot chocolate - but without the sugar rush! I really highly recommend this story - it feels like a hallmark movie waiting to be made!!

Her Christmas Crush is very typical if Bree Livingston's other work - a light hearted clean romance romp that ticks all the boxes. Caroline and King have a great chemistry and you cant help but laugh at the humor throughout.

The second title in the book is a doggy themed romance, and the last is first person which aren't my regular cup of tea, but it was actually very pleasant to be exposed to something outside of my regular reading habits, and they were both enjoyable despite not being my usual preference!

Again, a fantastic way to discover new authors, as well as some very enjoyable bite sized reads for busy evenings! I definitely recommend this anthology!

This book has way too many 5 star reviews… there is not a single novella in here worthy of 5 stars. I really want to say I got this for zero dollars as one of those free giveaways on Amazon for Kindle; if not I’ll be really mad to find out I spent money on this. Overall, I would say a solid 3 stars. These are all what are supposedly called “clean romances” so very PG. At least 4 of them were enjoyable and then the other 2 just terrible. Some were more Christmasy than others, I don’t think just mentioning Christmas is enough. If you need something quick to get to your reading goal and this is still free, then I would recommend this book of novellas, otherwise skip!

Treacle

Clean & sweet... Nauseatingly sweet. The female protagonists are all clumsy stammering ninnies, victims of the vicissitudes of life & they ALWAYS conveniently fall into the arms of the male protagonists... literally. The male protagonists are way too good to be true. Raises my hackles... If you're into self induced diabetes, this is your book.

Six Stories With A Christmas Feel!

For a free book, it is not so bad. A little too fast moving but they are novellas after all. Some were enjoyable but most of the time, I was left shaking my head. I think billionaire love or love at first sight stories are not for me. Here is my take it on each of the authors and their short story:

1. Tayla Alexandra - Wrapped in Love: Nice style but felt completely unbelievable. Although, I liked the writing. Rating: 4/5

2. Dyanne Gordon Green - The Dog Between Us: I read this first, thinking that this will be the weakest story, but it turned out to be really adorable and quite realistic. Best of the bunch and I enjoyed it. Rating: 5/5

3. Sharon Sue Thorn - Crashing Into Christmas: Not a big fan of the plot and it was a melodramatic for my taste. Rating: 3/5

4. Remi Carrington - Her Christmas Elf: Very sweet. Wish she had more time to develop the back story. A little fast moving but a cute story nevertheless. Rating: 4.5/5

5. Bree Livingston - Her Christmas Crush: Even though each chapter depicted the main character's feelings and thoughts, I found the female protagonist too submissive. Also, why weren't they even friends in high school? Again, a love story that was not developed. Rating: 3.5/5

6. Lara Wynter - Intend: The Band Series: So this story had a good cute meet and good build up. Then at the end it felt too forced and wrapped up. Again, a little too convenient but I liked the writing style. Rating: 4/5

If you want to disappear into a book without giving it too much thought and want to relive Christmas, then you will enjoy the book. Overall Rating: 4/5

A Christmas anthology of six easy reading stories can be just the thing even when it’s not Christmas. The joy of reading combined, perhaps, with “the joy of giving” and the joy of a world where a “gentleman always opens the door for a lady.” But it’s not all civilized dialog and obvious romance. And if you’re feeling down and someone compliments you, well, “Darlin’, a woman like you should hear that every day because it’s true.”

“Ugh, I really need this job,” says a women who clearly needs (and will find) much more than a job. Short, sweet, fun… maybe I really needed to sit back and enjoy these tales.

Disclosure: I got them on a deal and I enjoyed them.

Christmas Anthology is full of sugar and happy endings.

These stories are gathered together to get you feeling light-hearted and in the mood for Christmas. Unfortunately it doesn't wrap the presents or bake the cookies etc. Guess the right attitude is half the battle. Merry Christmas!

This collection is so sweet, it’ll make your teeth hurt! The storylines are typical holiday fare; the characters are definitely holiday through and through; some interesting plot twists and turns; and a definite HEA throughout. This one is a “feel good” read for sure! (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this collection and found it really sweet.) ❤️

As with any anthology, there are some stories I prefer over others. Most of these were well written and edited. They are all clean and wholesome/sweet. They are short stories so easy to fit in during the busy holiday season when you need an escape from all of the hustle and bustle. Short stories can by tricky, and one or two would've worked better as a novella or a fully developed novel.

Six cute stories that are perfect for Christmas! I loved the first two and the last two the best. I got into most of the characters. And some of the plot lines were intriguing and kept me hooked. The only problem was the stories were too short, so the ending felt rushed. But they were still cute. And clean.

Sharon Sue Thorn's Crashing into Christmas, Bree Livingston's Her Christmas Crush, & Tayla Alexandra's Wrapped in Love are the shining lights of this collection & the ones I will definitely be re-reading many more times in the future (in fact, this is actually about the third or fourth time I've fallen in love with Caroline & King's story, & the second for Wrapped in Love!)

Sweet Romances

I loved that they were short and easy-to-read. There were some typos, especially in the 3rd story, but each of the stories was great! I really liked that not all of the stories had them married, and I liked the epilogues as well!
