Su una stazione spaziale segreta, un drago mutaforma assetato di sangue sta facendo una strage – almeno fino a quando Dreya e la sua squadra non si mettono in mezzo. Benvenuti all`anticamera dell`inferno: Draco Station.
Ok, so Dreya and Rhys are questioning Gideon and they go on and on THEN they leave the house and the narrative goes through the entire questioning again from Gideon’s point of view, word for word with him thinking about what he did when he saw them coming up the walk. Really, word for word, for pages and pages? That was stupid.
Also, even though there was no sex in this novella Dreya has decided that it would be a good idea to have sex with both Rhys and Quinn since they all have such a connection. Ummm, nope! I’m through with this author. I don’t read about ménages. I know lots of you are into that but I’m all about one man and one woman, no trading off depending on the day or night.
It was a good story if the author would have just left out the threesome deal. Too bad, too.
*** Read in Kindle Unlimited *** This is the second book in the Dreya Love series and it picks up pretty much where book one ended. I must say I enjoy the fact that the actual heat level of this book is very low and allows the emotional attachments be the base of the relationships. With plenty of action, suspense to keep the build-up between the group at high.
Title: Blood And Fire Author: Dana Lyons Genre: Adult, Paranormal, Reverse Harem Format: Ebook Pages: 164 Rating: 5 Heat: 1
Thoughts: Holy crap, that was awesome!! If you LOVE deep, realistic characters then this is the series for you. I completely sunk into this book and didn’t come up for air until I read the last word. And the world building is awesome, it felt so real that I had a book hangover for a few days. All the players in the Harem are loners, independent, untrusting and they’ve been thrown together into a “pack” with hardly knowing each other. The struggle with the untrusting side and the need to stay with the pack is so thought-provoking. Yes, there’s no sex yet but there is a ton of sexual tension and like the X-files, it’s not happening (it will later, unlike X-Files). I am loving the build-up, the struggle, the need and the internal wars going on. This is an intellectual story, it will make you think and I absolutely LOVED it!! Very much looking forward to getting my hands on the next book!
I do not have the right words to describe this book because I am speechless to tell you the truth! So all I’m going to say about this book is that it’s absolutely amazing! But then again just about every book that I’ve read by Dana Lyons has been awesome! She’s got a beautiful talent of creating worlds and characters that seem to come to life all on their own, basically Dana Lyons is a story weaving genius! I so look forward to reading more of her work in the future because I can not get enough of her creations! So if you haven’t read any of her books well then what are you waiting for? Get the first book in this series and then get this one because you are going to love both books like I do! So that is a huge HECK YES I recommend this book to anyone who’s interested in crawling into another reality and leaving their own reality behind at least for a little while.
Idk how i miss the release of this book because i basically been stalking the author since book one which i freaking loved btw. I was beyond confused at the start of the book and i personally hate the switch from point of view usually but this book made it work. The author did it were it all came together and the switches weren’t random or out of order like some author do that i can’t stand.. i love this book and it’s like clue murder mystery mix with a haram i do love a good crime with my love story
It's going to start out like a prequel, but it's just a little back history. Then gets in to the meat. I like that this author know what the heck a cliffhanger is and how to use one. This part of the story is complete. You are not left wondering what happened with certain characters. All of it is explained. Then... just a little something extra at the end to let you know about book three. I loved it.
When I first read the first book I thought ok not bad liking the plot but could be better so decided to continue. I don’t know, I guess I couldn’t get into the book, felt as if there were parts missing. The supposed bond just seemed forced and there wasn’t much interaction with each other besides drinking together and having puppy piles( which wasn’t bad), no happy moments everything was just glum. I get it was crime after crime but some actual happy bonding moments are needed.
I really enjoyed this book and the series so far! There are mysteries to solve, scientists gone mad and secrets to keep! Excellent writing! My only complaint. I wish the books were longer, the stories more complex! With that said I still definitely recommend this book and series! Onward to book number three! 😀
Bought the 2nd book 1st was great, but everytime i download it I still get the 1st book. Is there a way to fix this? I already tried re-downloading 5 times, re-syncing my library, and re-starting my device.
Never read anything like this series, it has everything from emotional to mental. Love's got her pack of misfits and another murderer to apprehend. Can't wait to read more. JL
I'm enjoying the Dreya Love series. Blood and Fire is the second book and seamlessly picks up from book 1. The characters get more development and the plot builds in a perfect set up for book 3.
Interesting story. Freya and her guys are trying to adjust to living with Nobility in their bodies all while trying to solve another case. Looking forward to the next.
