Not sure what happened during the editing process, but this textbook is littered with errors when you examine the figures and examples. Aside from that, it covers all of the exam topics pretty well.

I passed, so clearly this must have helped a bit. For full disclosure, I've earned CCNA Wireless, Security, Data Center, Route & Switch, CCDA, CCDP, CCNP Route & Switch, plus all of the CCS Wireless Certs already, I just needed to pass ENCORE so I could qualify for the CCIE Lab test. And, I've take week long official Cisco courses on QoS and Multicast, so my weakest areas are things like SD-Access. I found the book very readable, and got through it pretty quickly, given that I was working on other certs simultaneously AND had a full time job. The coverage of multicast was one of the best given the length, that I've seen.

I was disappointed by the number of spelling mistakes in the book. I found the mistakes to be distracting. It seems this book was rushed to press.

There are noticeable differences in writing styles of the chapters, potentially highlighting the different writing styles of the authors. I found the chapters covering wireless were excellent and a pleasure to read.

I would have liked to have seen more examples of the more complex topics, like configuring route maps. I will just need to do extra studying for those topics.

Overall this book is good and hopefully covers the key topics for the exam well. I haven’t taken the exam yet but plan to soon.
