Humor. Romance. Suspense. Steam.
Hollywood on Tap was a fast and fun read!
Natalie is always in control. Things have to be in order. Running a business is new to her, but when her uncle left her and her two sisters his brewery, she stepped up with her flowsheets and organization.
Sean O’Dell loves working at Sweet Salvation Brewery. He has his secrets and his past is complicated to say the least. This job is just the escape he’s needed. Or it was until the Sweet sisters took over. One in particular is not making his life easy. Natalie Sweet. Sean runs the brewery just fine, but she wants things done her way.
They butt heads for a while, until strange things start happening. Suspicious things that have them putting their differences aside to figure out the mystery of whats really going on in the brewery? Will they be able to work together and figure out what happens? And what about Sean’s secret?
When they say opposites attract, I think they’re talking specifically about Natalie and Sean. They are one of those couples that shouldn’t work at all, yet they do. They had some great chemistry and I loved their little love/hate relationship at the beginning! All the banter was great.
Hollywood on Tap was a short and entertaining read. I didn’t read the first book in this series, but I wasn’t lost. This can truly be read as a standalone, though I might go back and read book one because I’m interested to know more about Natalie’s older sister.
Overall, I liked this one. The hero and heroine were both fun characters and they had a great dynamic. I love how opposite they were, but regardless of their differences, they just worked. If you are looking for a quick read with some mystery, some sexy and some sweet- I would recommend this.

3,5 Furtive Stars.
Sean used to be a Hollywood sweetheart, until for some reason no one knows, he got tired of the spotlight and run away from the fame. He settled on the little town of Salvation where he works on the local Brewery.
Natalie is one of the three sisters who inherited the Sweet Salvation Brewery and they are fighting against the odds to make it successful. Which isn’t easy when the whole town doesn’t take the name “Sweet” or anything related to their family serious. First Sean and Emily attract, then they crash. And what supposed to be just a physical thing, starts to get something more as they work together to save the brewery. But what happens when the person you are falling for isn’t who you imagined to be?
If you’re in need of a quick reading, a light, funny and romantic book with steamy moments, this book is a good choice.
If is one of those unforgettable readings? Not really. It has a lot of cliches, it’s pretty predictable and has one of those “grand-public-gestures” and I HATE those. (This last one it’s more a peeve of mine than anything else, but whatever.)
But the writing is seriously good, it’s entertaining, and it made me smile. So, really, what more can you ask for? I really hope there will be a third book about Olivia!

They had their sweet moments, their steamy moments but it definitely won’t be a couple to remember. Had some nice supporting characters but I wished I could see a little more from the previous couple, Logan and Miranda.

I am so disaapointed with Hollywood on Tap. The story, the characters, the plot/ twist are just so... plain/ boring.
The only good thing about this book is: it is short. Only about 6 hours.
I can not feel the chemistry between Natalie and Sean. I feel their romance is being forced from the very beginning.

This is what Avery does so well - Romance, Humour, Mystery .... Natalie, a control freak, is brought in by her sister, Miranda, to help streamline the craft brewery they inherited. Sean is the mysterious, mono-sybilic brewmaster who has a secret that he needs to keep hidden. There is an instant attraction that both know cant happen....
The town of Salvation is full of characters but I would love for the Sheriffs Department to get a rocket up their arses - I hate when people are judged on 'who' and 'what' their families have previously done....

If you loved Enemies on Tap, you will adore HOLLYWOOD ON TAP! If I could give 10 stars, I would! A great suspense, funny like you won’t believe, super hot romance, and Natalie is the best heroine ever! She’s a control freak, Sean – the new brewmaster and former Oscar winner who left Hollywood – is a slob, and someone is trying to sabotage the brewery; they must work as a team to find who it is before Sweet Salvation Brewery shuts down. And they have the hots for each other but they can’t act on it, because she’s his boss. Or can they? Avery Flynn at the very top of her form! An absolute must-read!

Hollywood on Tap is the second book in The Sweet Salvation Brewery series. Following on from Enemies on Tap, this is middle triplet Natalie's story but it's worth mentioning that whilst characters crossover and there is some story continuation, it could be read as a standalone.
Natalie Sweet and Sean O'Dell couldn't be more different. She's an organised list-making twinset and pearls girl, he a brooding strong silent type harbouring a secret. And when it becomes apparent someone is sabotaging the brewery, they have a common goal - catch the culprit which brings them together in more ways than one.
"I'm your boss. It's wrong."
"So why aren't you moved?"
"Because wanting and needing aren't always the same thing."
Sean and Natalie had chemistry and I did enjoy their bickering, snark and banter and whilst the mystery and suspense didn't hold any huge surprises, it mattered not - who doesn't do a little joyful whoop when they suss out who the bad guy is?
With the quirky residents of Salvation bringing humour and valuable content, it was a sweet addition to the series. Avery Flynn has a great writing style - her turn of phrases are simply fabulous, she always creates endearing characters and I look forward to seeing what Olivia's story brings.

Just finished reading a romantic story with more than than just a touch of humor. We have an unusual setting where two people find themselves more or less forced to work together to try and make the business work more efficiently on one end and better product on the other. Unfortunately both sides can't seem to agree on how to accomplish their goals. Even though their methods differ; one believing in flowcharts and schedules while filled with anxiety and arguing and the other trying to keep secrets while at the same time trying to improve the product.
Now this background I'm giving may seem boring but I'm just trying not to give away any spoilers. The story is filled with humor and a girl who believes in sex not love who meets a guy that just might change her way of thinking. Together they sizzle, but will it be too late for him with his secret about to be exposed.
I highly recommend reading this, but only if you enjoy romance with humor and a twist and of course a little sex thrown in.
Then book was given to me for an honest review prior to its release on November 3rd. You can't go wrong especially at the pre-order price.

Natalie gets drawn into the family inheritance by her sister, to bring her analytical mindset and help streamline the production at Sweet Salvation Brewery, and she´s ready to help. What she didn´t expect was the reluctant brewmaster Sean who doesn´t want to change how they´ve worked for years, no matter how many flowcharts or evaluations she tries to show him.
While someone is trying to sabotage the daily management, Sean´s past is about to catch up with him.
Can this end well?

"Pride filled him. He'd put that soft look in her eye, the purr in her voice, and given her loose limbed ease." Yes, Sean could make me loose limbed as well!! He is the perfect match to Natalie's controlled existence! I loved Hollywood on Tap! It has a terrific story and a perfect amount of spark & chemistry between Sean & Natalie! I think this series just gets better & better!!

I read the first book years ago and have always planned to continue the series, so when I saw that Hollywood on Tap was coming to audio, I decided to give it a go. It was a fun, light, quick read and I'm glad I was able to continue with the Sweet sisters.
Natalie is a very likable character for me - we're extremely similar. She likes order - she imposes it as much as possible with her spreadsheets and multi-step plans. I understand that need to order your chaotic world to cope, so I felt a kinship with her. I liked Sean well enough, but I would have liked to see a much deeper side to him. He's dealt with quite a lot and I felt like it didn't really come through in his personality. I felt like for all he'd done in his life, he seemed extremely ordinary - like his experiences hadn't actually changed him.
I enjoyed watching them continue their fight for the brewery - this time against an unknown saboteur - and I think the mystery was well done. I had suspicions but was thrown off the trail plenty, which is what I like in a mystery. The romance between Natalie and Sean was steamy, but also felt like it sprung out of nowhere. I would have like some more build up and growth in their relationship so that the steam made more sense.
Charlotte North is a narrator I've listened to several times and I really enjoy her performances. She does a great job with voices and bringing the characters to life. If she narrates the next book, I'll be happy to listen to it as well.

Another book in this trilogy down, and again, I liked it, but didn't love it. If I hadn't used my Hoopla credits to get the whole series (I know better than this! Why do I keep doing it?!), then I probably would stop reading them.
Things I liked:
-Intelligent characters!
-Huge romantic gesture.
-Again, the length of the book was perfect for the story it told.
-I actually didn't guess who the saboteur was!
Things that annoyed me:
-"I'm the boss and you're my employee" is way too easily ignored.
-The anxiety rep was decent, but not great. I know it's different for everyone, but her anxiety didn't make sense. At all. Plus, she got over it WAY too easily. If ONLY I get just switch it off.
-The Big Misunderstanding of the story... SERIOUSLY?! What an idiot.

I am always reading out of order, but it didn't seem to matter.
I loved the push and pull between these two. I was surprised by the bit of mystery, but in a good way. Sean really ended up being a total soft-hearted sweetheart in disguise. Cute ending too! That stuffs my catnip.

Hollywood on Tap is the fabulous 2nd installment of the wonderfully crazy Sweet Salvation Brewery series by Avery Flynn. I thought I loved the first book of this series. This second one blows it away!
The Sweet triplets have all dealt with the family reputation of being a crazy Sweet in different ways. Being a Sweet is not easy. The family is known for their crazy, crazy ways and most of the townspeople have not been kind to the girls. Growing up under the constant judgement and scrutiny caused Natalie to have debilitating panick attacks. She's learned to control absolutely everything in her life to ward off the attacks. Now, she's back in her hometown of Salvation to try to help her sisters save the brewery that their late uncle left to them. She's there to do her part and help get the place organized and determine the needs and priorities. However, the brewmaster has her fighting an attraction that threatens to upset her perfectly organized life.
Sean O'Dell has been living a secret life. He spent the first part of his life as a Hollywood superstar. He escaped that life and is enjoying this second part of his life so much better. Getting a job at the Sweet Salvation Brewery has turned into a dream come true. He's found that he has a real talent for it and it's given him a place to come to that he truly loves. Or at least that was the case before the uptight Natalie Sweet has happened into his life determined to change everything. Now, if only he could quit fantasizing about her he could maybe find a way to convince her to leave him alone.
Sean was sexy, sweet and confident all rolled into one hot package. He broke my heart as he tried to overcome his past by hiding from it. Seeing him stand up and say no more made me want to cheer for him. I loved his humor and how you could really feel the attraction he felt for Natalie. I enjoyed Natalie. Even though she had control issues she was never stuffy or annoying as a character. She was so funny how she dealt with the attraction she felt for Sean. She is one tough chick and just needed to come into her strength and realize the power that she had. I can't wait to read the final story in this series and see how life unfolds with the super model sister.

Avery Flynn's Sweet Salvation Brewery series keeps you entertained, laughing and leaves you hot under the collar (and craving beer). Hollywood on Tap is the second book in this series and so far my favorite! Both Hollywood on Tap and Enemies on Tap (book #1) are written in such a way you can read them as stand alone novels, but to really "get" the town of Salvation, Virginia, you may want to read them both (they are quick reads and the townsfolk are highly entertaining).
Hollywood on Tap is the Natalie's story. Natalie is the hyper-organized, buttoned-up middle triplet. I really enjoyed her character! Yes she is an odd bird, and bless her heart, she has issues but watching her feathers get ruffled was very fun! Avery Flynn does a great job getting the reader to understand the characters in her books and that might be one of my favorite things about this series; the characters. Sean is a former Hollywood heart-throb that left it all behind and fate landed him in Salvation. Sean is now the head brewmaster and focused on his new life when Natalie comes to town and shakes things up. Sean's character was fun. He had a great dislike for the buttoned-up Natalie but at the same time was drawn to her (I loved his inner dialogues about her buttons). Avery Flynn created great tension and heat with these two and you can tell she had fun writing this story.
Hollywood on Tap is more than just a love story between two characters, it is about the community of Salvation and the family the brewery has created. There is a bit of mystery and sabotage in this story, but is it is a cute background to the main focus of Natalie and Sean. Avery Flynn writes stories that make you smile! Hollywood On Tap was an anticipated read for me. After reading Enemies on Tap and loving it, I couldn’t wait to read this one. I was a little nervous being that Ms. Flynn was a new to me author and frankly, I’m not sure if she’s consistent with her work. Well, after reading this novel, Avery Flyn’s books are now an auto buy for me. Not only that she did not disappoint, she impressed the hell out of me. Hollywood on Tap is even better than Enemies on Tap. It was romantic, funny, uber sweet and plenty sexy.
Natalie is one of the Sweet sisters who owns Sweet Salvation Brewery. After inheriting this run down pub, the sisters decided to move to the small town of Salvation and vowed to make their brewery thrive again. Natalie has a very methodical and a well thought out plan to do so. Unfortunately, no charts or slides or planning can predict what her brewmaster will do. Worse, Natalie cannot control his past from coming to bite both of them in the ass.
Sean and Natalie is as opposite as light and day. Natalie is a control freak and Sean being very laid back yet they are very attracted to each other. It was fun to see Natalie fight her attraction despite the obvious feelings she had for him. Sean’s innuendos, smart comments and the way he pushed her buttons was hilarious but slowly he broke her walls down to see what is in front of her. She saw him indeed, how can she ignore him. I also can’t ignore the fact that Ms. Flynn made him irresistibly sexy. Like Natalie, I could not get enough of him.
It was exciting to see Sean’s past come back to his present and watch him deal with them. It was sweet to know that despite who he was in the past, all he wants now is a quiet life doing what he loves most. There was a hint of mystery in the story as the Sweet sisters presence in the town is not quite welcome…yet. Thought here has been hardships; they are slowly earning their trust. I’m excited to read more of their adventure as they win over the town and completely make this brewery thrive with success.

Salvation is a quanit little town that really doesn't like the resident Sweet family. The Sweet triplets have returned after their uncle's death to get the family brewery back into shape - but things always seem to go wrong. A little too wrong to just be bad luck.
Natalie is an OCD anxious mess most of the time. She thrives on creating order out of chaos, and I'd really like her to visit my home office and whip it into shape for me. Her best friends are her color coded pens, calendar, and lists. The more I read about her, the more I loved her. While my OCD shows off in a whole other fashion, I could really relate to her need to have things done just right. Sean, on the other hand, isn't much for all this fancy crap that Natalie is trying to do. He sees it as messing with his creative process and refuses to listen to a word she says. He's kind of a jerk about the whole thing.
When they start feeling the sparks they are both quite surprised. And when they are thrown together by chance in their own investigation of who might be sabotaging the brewery they realize just how much they spark together. Sean just about blows it though by keeping too many secrets, and Natalie's need for control get in the way. Their compromises were amazing - a true testament to how a relationship should work and I loved watching them navigate through their differences.

I have not read the first book in the series and if I am to presume correctly, there will be a third book about the third sister as well. Unless I stumble upon the first and third book somehow, I doubt I'll be reading them even though I liked this book.
It's a simple book with an easy-going love story mixed with some mystery. Although this book doesn't feature a bad case of insta-love nor insta-lust, there was simply something off for me to find their relationship credible...
All in all, Hollywood on Tap is a lovely romance novel that may not be for everyone. Unfortunately, I'm one of those that didn't love this story. Fortunately, I didn't hate the story either, it was simply a bit too "meh".

When Logan and Miranda took on city hall and finally found love and a reprieve for Sweet Salvation Brewery, it looked all the problems were over. Of course, after years of Uncle Julien's slipshod management, middle sister Nathalie Sweet is convinced that all the brewery needs is a few of the spreadsheets and 25 point plans she's employed previously in her efficiency consultant business. All she has to do is convince brew master Sean to help her make the changes she knows will make Sweet Salvation more profitable.
Unfortunately there are things at Sweet Salvation that are going to take more than just a spreadsheet to sort out, and those things include Sean Odell.
I loved Enemies on Tap, the first book of this series, and at the time I wouldn't have thought the second installment could be any better. I was wrong. This book has a little mystery, a little comedy, a few secrets, a little sex and a whole lot of romance. Natalie is prim, proper and organized to the point of being obsessive-compulsive. Sean is impulsive, chaotic and the complete opposite of everything that Natalie is and holds dear, but then, they do say opposites attract.
I thoroughly enjoyed Hollywood on Tap and if you love romance and surprises, I'm sure you will too.

Hollywood On Tap by Avery Flynn is the second in her Sweet Salvation Brewery series.
Natalie Sweet is the "middle" child of the Sweet triplets and was extremely effected by
their past in Salvation, VA. She's worked hard to overcome her emotional hangups from her
past and is now a organizational master and a control freak.
Sean O'Dell is the tight lipped brewmaster at the brewery and has been doing everything he
can to avoid Natalie. He keeps having these daydreams about button upped librarian types
since meeting her. He also has a secret from his past that he doesn't want any one to know
about in Salvation.
The brewery is being sabotaged and now they must work together to try and figure out who is
behind it and why they are set on destroying the brewery.
Avery has written a story filled with mystery, humor and hot romance. The chemistry
between Sean and Natalie is off the charts. They mystery kept me guessing right up to the
reveal. The HEA ending, when Sean put everything on the line, was really perfect for this
couple.
If you loved Enemies on Tap, the first book in this series, you will definitely be falling
in love with one, too.

I loved Enemies on Tap so was really excited to read the next book in the series. I had high hopes because by the end of book one I was intrigued and already half in love with Sean. This book did not disappoint. Flynn delivered another fun, amusing and steamy read with Hollywood on Tap. Sean was a scene stealer (I was head over heels in love with him by the end of the book), but Natalie definitely held her own. I loved her too, especially since I saw some parts of myself in her. Watching Natalie and Sean butt heads was all kinds of fun and try to fight their attraction was all kinds of fun. I highly recommend Hollywood on Tap (and Enemies on Tap if you haven't read that one yet. I cannot wait for the next Sweet Salvation Brewery book.

Hollywood On Tap was provided to me by the author for an Honest Review. I have been anxiously waiting to read Hollywood On Tap the second book in the Sweet Salvation Brewery Series. I was not disappointed. Ms Flynn has again brought a book so HOT you better be wearing gloves when you read it! The story of Sean, an actor who left Hollywood, changed his name and no one from his former life knows of his existence and Natalie who should be named Miss Efficiency! Natalie's world consists of a clipboard and structure. Both have secrets and both have an instant attraction they try to deny. Suspense, this book has it! Sensuality, again I'm telling you set a fan close to you. You are gonna need it! This book can be read as a stand alone but I advise you to read book #1 Enemies On Tap. You don't want to miss anything going on at the Sweet Salvation Brewery

Sean O'Dell is a hunky man of few words (ladies, don't we all love the hot and quiet type?) hiding in Salvation and working as a brewmaster, when trouble comes in three: a snoopy tabloid reporter is looking for him (won't tell you why! you need to read the book!), a leak in the brewery and Natalie Sweet -- his boss and the flowchart loving woman who has a plan for everything, except the attraction she feels for Sean.
I don't think I ever read a book that was set in a brewery before, and this one is just ah-mazing. It has romance, intrigue and the wicked sense of humor Avery is known for -- and delivers so well!
Hollywood on Tap is super original, sassy and wonderful.

Sean seriously doesn't care what others think of him and he and Natalie have some funny situations going on, "you can't just carry me around like this," Natalie huffed against his lower back. "I'm your boss." I don't think she intentionally tries to get Sean riled up but it always seems to happen, "that's too bad, I would have loved to have given it a try." Just the mental picture of Natalie sliding down the pole with her skirt flying up was enough material to fill the spank bank for a decade." I found this book funny and a great read.

This is a good one! A well written story with more of the quirky Salvation characters we got to know in Enemies on Tap. This book has a bit more of a suspense element to it. Secrets are revealed, mysteries are solved, and the budding relationship between the high strung Sweet sister Natalie and the very mysterious Sean O'Dell, is put to the test. The pne complaint I have is that I felt the romance part of the story was lacking. She was fighting the attraction, he was fighting the attraction, then bam - they were together. But overall a very enjoyable read.

Nothing terribly offensive* (although the hero is a passive aggressive employee who treats his supervisor - the heroine - so horribly I kept waiting for her to have him fired. But he's a beer genius and she's an anxious hornball, so that didn't happen. That may also be why I never got into either of their characters). It also never ventured beyond the formulaic -- which is ok if I like the formula, but this one was kind of meh to me.

I've recieved a copy of Hollywood on Tap as a gift from the author for an honest review.
This second story from the Sweet Salvation Brewery did not disappoint. Talk about opposites that attract. Loved the pairing of Natalie ( compulsive organizer and everything perfect) with Sean (Rugged disorganized hot guy). Avery does a fab job with pulling mystery, action, humor and hotness together to form the perfect book. Great series. If you haven't read them...get on it.
