I read a lot and the idea behind the series is good but it is executed poorly
The book started out good but then an enormous amount of progressive propaganda was inserted and they belong with many inconsistencies where previous " facts" in the story are forgotten makes it a difficult read. I managed to get to the last 2 books and finally had to give up.
The idea is very good but it needs a good editor and a removal of the political messaging.

Absolutely fabulous collection of space stories that will keep you reading until the end. Intriguing and fascinating.

Christian Kallias is a total pro when it comes to Writing truly epic Space Opera adventure series and this was again proved in his Universe in Flames. I read and totally enjoyed (and separately reviewed) each of these books was it was published. They were truly superb. Exciting, complex but easy to understand, with a great cast, great individual book plot and a frankly perfect overarching story arc. Now Universe in Flames - Ultimate 10 Book Box Set has been released and all I can say is that anyone who has not already read this highly addictive series should grab this boxset. Is a steal of a bargain and highly recommended.

This is a real epic, 7 full novels and 5 shorts in one set. Exceptional quality and value. The stories follow Chase from unruly Starfighter pilot to God like being and through a constant series of increasingly more powerful threats. A heavy emphasis on the Greek and Norse myths. The stories are full of action, emotion, triumph and tragedy, secrets and cliffhangers and this is only less than half of the full series. Christian Kallias reply puts the reader and his characters through the ringer. Zachary Johnson is the perfect narrator for this series, giving each character a voice and life. I highly recommend this box set.

Very entertaining
It's sad coming to the end of 2000+ pages of rip - roaring good storytelling. The author has blended typical inter species conflict in space with the daunting return of the powerful Furies & Olympians, added in a hint of Asgardians and there's even a sentient AI thrown in for good measure. So many great characters and story arcs to keep you engaged as one time enemies unite to stop the Furies from destroying everyone. Lots to enjoy in this one!

Son of zeus
I like when characters are tied together in a logical order. The inter action between them was true to life. They all had questions about who they were and what they could do. Nonstop action with a complete story through out. I would recommend this box set to anyone that likes science fiction. I gave this rating because I could not put it down. Reading late into the night.

This is a collection of 10 novellas and novels with almost 2,000 pages. We discover the origins of Chase and in a mixture of Greek mythology, Scandinavian mythology and Science-Fiction. He has to save Earth 🌏 and the whole Universe.
At the price it is now (December 2019) it is a very good deal.

This an outstanding space opera with great characters. It is an action packed saga with a mix of humans and space aliens with extraordinary super powers. It is a struggle for survival of the humans and space aliens against a race of super powerful space aliens.. Anyone who loves great space operas will love this series.

This Ultimate Box Set appears to be only half a set.
The good news is this was well proofed. It isn't completely error free, but still very well done. Sadly, that is not the standard for many Kindle books I've read. The rating of 3 is mostly because this "Ultimate 10 Book Box Set" ends at book 5 of 11. The other 5 books included are a prequel and novellas that slip between other books. One truly horrible cliffhanger is left hanging for so long the resolution seemed as if it was misplaced and just stuck into the narrative when someone finally asked about it. If you are looking for science fiction, look elsewhere. If space fantasy is a flavor you like, this series may be thoroughly enjoyable for you. I stopped at book 5 and didn't bother to read the book 6 preview.

First 2 novels were fun, but the protagonist actions don't make sense when the 3rd novel begins. Going from the strong, take on the universe, and solve things type, to the woe is me, let me find a way to have someone kill me type after losing someone seemed out of place. More like using an easy trope to create a specific situation. Stopped reading there.

This book started out to be interesting.Then the story went downhill. The author gave the title character Chase far too many powers. If a person had that much power he would never be in the situations presented in the books. There was so much fighting to increase Chases power that the flow of the book gets interrupted .Then again the characters were able to develop tech far too quickly.

Get the complete 10 book series for less than one, a bargain.
I read all of these books individually but this complete series is a must for fans of space action opera's.

First-time Reader of Kallias’ work....
Began this box set just before Christmas. An excellent story arc that offers all the action and intrigue any reader can appreciate. Now, I’m off to find more Kallias books.

Fun and Gripping
Sadly I missed out on a lot of sleep white reading this series. Couldn't put it down most nights.
Sadly it is not yet complete. I prefer to read a series from start to finish. I believed this set to be the complete story.
Still, an excellent read.

UNIVERSE! In Flames?
Well, Christian has created a whole Universe of worlds and peoples that are very real and 'human ' to me. I was able to immerse myself in their worlds and 'live' with them in their adventures! Where's the next one?

Great Read
C.K. Creates a fast pace action pack universe. The characters are well fleshed out. Every character has good points and bad. Friends and enemies keep changing place. The space battles are well written and exciting. You can’t go wrong with this box set!!

Great story! Has lots of action, fast paced with a cast of characters that are well developed and easy to relate to. After reading this compilation, I look forward to reading the entire series! Can’t wait to see what happens s to Chase, Chris, Sarah, Daniel and the rest!

Puts you right in the action straight away.
Excellent story line it's what we would like to see ourselves.
All the characters just jump out of the pages as you read them, could not ask for a better read.

What a great read , just a tie into older mythology etc.
Want you to enter some of the battles. It certainly feels like you're watching dragon Ball z in your mind. This was a very fun read. Very enjoyable, say the least

Really well put together book that way exceeded my expectations. Towards the end, I felt everything was a little too jumbled - too much going on and too many “moving pieces” but it all came together much better than I thought it would. Very much worth the time!
