This not my usual genre, and is actually the first book of this sort I've ever read. In saying that, I really enjoyed it. The writing is dialogue driven, very descriptive, and action packed. I think it will appeal to teenagers and young adults specifically, or anyone interested in this genre.
The art work is amazing.

September 10, 2020I'm not adding a rating, as this is currently unfinished by me. I found the characters too shallow to my taste, and certain elements of the writing didn't work for me. As is always the case with books I shelve as unfinished, I may come back to it at some point.

A well written book with creativity, ingenuity and well thought out characters. Although this is not my usual genre, I enjoyed the adventure and look forward to the next instalment!
